We have the same loader with a very similar setup. During fall clean up season, the crews leave in the morning and make piles just like this one. At around noon, the leaf truck dispatches and only picks up piles. Any time a pile is left, its communicated to the office/OPS manager so we can route an efficient pickup schedule for the second half of the day. Its some pretty heavy lifting for only one person to man the leaf vacuum, but it can be done. So to maximize our time, that's generally what we do. Clean up crews make piles or self contain if they have small amounts, leaf vac hits all the big spots. We've been billing these as hourly cleanups but are working on a system to flat rate it for ease of billing. Either way, this debris loader is a game changer. Thinking about getting a second rig set up this year.

Yes it's worth it! Leaf cleanups are a big job without the right equipment. I need a dump trailer like that for my Lawn Care business.

Bought the 37hp billy goat in 2020. Broke the crank shaft in it first week of December 2021... 2 months later still no word on when the part will be in(back ordered). Been using our Echo Bearcat DL12 as a backup and man, it takes 2-3x as long to vacuum up piles. Works great when its working great! Parts/supply issues are a PIA right now...

unbiased opinion truck loaders work great on pine needles, leaves wet r dry, mulch, hell if you have a large glass bottle in that pile because someone thought it was cool to toss it there while you were on break they'll suck them up too.

Nothings too big my friend. I did a quarter acre lot with an suv, buckets, and a trailer. Even used those things cost upwards of $6k CAD. You can get a smaller one that will allow you to get through some bigger jobs quicker that are meant to be towed behind a lawn tractor for $2k CAD but you can mount them to a trailer or you can even trailer mount a hand held echo for $300 CAD. You may not be able to charge the same but I've done many repeat jobs with buckets and blowers.

How long did it take with that equipment and 3 worker. Is it worth it? Don't know. I see that 3 workers and a film crew made a great video. Cost of equipment and labor is not disclosed as well as what did customer pay for that service. I love yall videos but I don't know if is worth it.

Good point! 20 minutes / 3 Men. Customer paid $200. We did an equipment cost on another video. I think we paid 7K for the loader. I was hoping to raise more of a thought provoking question.Thx for watching and commenting.
