That wasn’t a tree limb, that was a tree dropped on the dumpster.

We try not to rent to anyone machine loading. Overweight and damage seems to be the norm and just not worth the hassle. This is just pure negligence on their part. So sorry this happen to you. Hopefully you come out on top of the legal battle.

Hi Fam! I see just like me you have joined the trash hauling business. Which one you like the best. The lawn care or trash hauling? We love the trash hauling business so much more. Nice hearing from you old friend.

If a “tree guy” is having you come out to a job like that to run dumpsters guaranteed your gonna be over weight. Doesn’t matter what size truck you got. How you gonna be bidding on jobs that big as a “tree guy” and not even have your own truck/trailer? That right there is an indication of how they gonna treat you and your bin. Even when I had next to nothing I still had a way to remove all that stuff myself.
Side note, find a place that takes “green waste” like that so you can get rid of it cheaper and maybe get it turned into mulch if your gonna be doing dumpsters. A lot of these dumpster guys seem to be too lazy to find any other dump sites besides their one or two landfills and maybe the closest scrap yard.

His truck probably is about 23,000lb gvw. The truck itself is probably 8000 lbs, container probably about 2000lbs, and he can probably put 12,000-13,000lbs of cargo in dumpster. He would then be at max legal weight. Dirt weighs about 2500 lbs per yard, so 4 wet yards of dirt 5 dry yards of dirt. Which would only fill that container about 25-30 percent. People generally don't understand weight restrictions. They just think they have a dumpster, yah big, and think they should be able to fill it to the brim.
