no. this has been covered a lot of time even by chris himself. I've personally recreated this exact sound many times, it's easy when you know how/have the gear. It's a akai deep impact (incredibly rare and exspensive) sb-1, which is a bass evenlope filter/synth box into a old russian sovtek big muff pedal (1980s russian version of original ehx big muff pi fuzzbox). This is usually split before pedalboard, bi-amped and blended with the dry bass tone. He usually goes with a double markbass sd1200 through markbass 115 cabinets. .

They sound almost exactly like the album only excluding the things that they added in because you usually want to have a something different in each show rather than the same thing over and over. So impressive!

Now it's been 17 years MUSE need new music, I'd hate if they became a group that made one good song throughout their career? . This one song is extremely GOOD!
Music changed a lot after 2010 so they felt down too. Their 2000's era was so good that made them so popular and great though. They still sell out like a few bands so they are one of the greatest for sure
I saw them in Columbus, Ohio in 2003 right before they blew up . I saw this show in a small venue with about 300 people, maybe. It was actually better in doors at night.
