Thom and Bellamy are nothing alike I like Thom's singing but there is no singer since the 90s that has not only been a consistently phenomenal singer, but has such an amazing stage presence as Bellamy
Trying to deny that Matt Bellamy is basically Thom Yorke with a little bit more falsetto and a little less high chest is to be a blindfolded fanboy asshole. Matt almost stole Thom's signing voice. That doesn't make him bad. On the contrary, he does a bloody great job, and Thom Yorke is a really talented singer, so, if anything, makes Matt an even more amazing singer. This band is honestly one of the best of modern times. Not only amazing performers but their music has changed the history of alternative rock in so many ways, I recently paid tribute to them by doing a 100% live looping medley of their greatest songs, including this one, I'll leave the link in the replies below in case anyone wants to check it out!
Each generation has a band which has a distinct sound than others. Muse may be the best of them. Their sound so unique, so majestic and I have never seen any other band from this generation or prior to use their bass as the MUSE.
I love Muse so much, they sound great live (from what I can hear on this video, I've never seen them live but I'd love to) and their stage presence is amazing.

MUSE! Then I fell in love and I got all their records :-)
