no slackers in this group. they all killing it. even the girl over there on b/u vocals is nailing the harmony.
Came for Ellen, who is still amazing, but damn the rest of the group is great! Vinya is definitely going to be a star. She's just got the full package. She has a great voice and has a look that producers just eat up. Don't get me wrong. I loved the rest of the group too, but Vinya stands out to me.
These kids walk up to any garage band trying to play this and take over their instruments after Ellen says: "Here, hold my Capri Sun"
amazing that everyone is under 16 with a skill level beyond their years. kudos to the engineer on this as well, the mix is perfect

Ellen, I am a fan from the very start. Her timing is awesome, awesome feel, and a typical bass player, no matter what ….. she is like this, super concentrated in the pocket.

Jesus CHRIST! The level of talent with these kid rock bands is astonishing. That little guy on guitar... age 9?? The whole band... I'm 71 years old and there were NO kids that could play like that in my day, none. That little Ellen played that bass line like she wrote the goddam thing. WOW!!!!

She has defiently taken one of the more demanding bass lines in recent memory and owned it for sure.
I'm in my 60's and we had garage bands playing "Smoke on the water" - this is FIRE! Imagine where these kids go from here...Until Ellen played Muse, I'd never heard the song, and she powers thru it like "what's for lunch"...at that little guy on the guitar is hangin it out there, and so is that drummer...so cool. The vocals - lead and accompany - are driving it home. I'd sit and listen to this band all day...

@@ArDiaN_MusicIm 70 years old. Ive been struggling to get some kind of half good sounds out of an acoustic guitar for 50 plus years. These kids are just amazing. My guitar just looked at me in disgust and shook its headstock! The future is BRIGHT!
Drummer = Yoyoka; one of best (500) drummers in the world.
@@janbleekerI dont like to rank artists, but Yoyoka is the standard of excillence to be achieved now, I think. And only 14. That singer, if she follows up in this genre, has a huge career ahead imho.
Yoyoka is, probably, the best young drummer in the world. She is on the Drummer World list of Top 500 drummers of all time, as the youngest person ever (at 11). And she is the winner of the best young drummer of the year award 2023.
She regularly plays at the Whisky a Go Go (rock) and The Baked Potato (jazz).
There are more than 600 videos on her channel.
These so called 'kids' put some adult groups to shame, an absolutely fantastic rendition.

Awestruck! This was sick good. I'm 64 years old and to see these kids playing with such skill and enthusiasm brings tears to my old eyes. Only the most seasoned bands pull this off out of studio.

Ellen really got to show just how accomplished she is on that bass! Did you botice Yoyoka's superb drum work? No? That's right. She served the song and she did it perfectly. No over playing. Of course she is here on an artist's visa as a professional musician. She's 14.

yeah this group could fill arenas imo. someone get them to form a legit band and give them a contract. even if all they do are covers for a while they could open for anyone on tour.

I binged watched these videos a few times each, and this performance was fantastic!! SO many incredible young musicians in this group!! the meter was perfect,the sound was awesome, and the energy was very enjoyable!! can't wait for the next video, and Ellen was fantastic!! totally enjoyed this!!

Whenever I see that Ellen and Yoyoka have gotten together I get excited. They are both amazing musicians and both have the same attitude towards their music: to keep it fun. I realise that they both have their own life and career trajectories to follow but I selfishly hope that their paths cross many times in the future. That goes for all of these talented individuals.
Drums and Bass hold a band together and they need to be in sync. So Yoyoka is already a master, and Ellen, although a little younger, just keeps getting better and better...

We've all been watching Ellen and Yoyoka mature into their art. They're just solid. The first cover I saw was "Oceans" a couple of years ago. I don't know when this one was recorded. It says it was posted 2 weeks ago.

You're not wrong! YOYOKA played live on stage in front of 30K audience for Cyndi Lauper on one occasion, and Fallout Boy for another, WHEN she was 10 y.o.
That may be a stretch until they have their own music, but with all that talent i wont be surprised
Ellen is a star already, but what's she gonna be like in another five years? Even Paco Pastorius would be sweating! The rest of the band are a perfect blend of talent too. Live long and Rock.
Some people may write this off as a heavily edited studio production, but having heard what these kids are able to do individually there is probably only a few takes and hardly any editing at all. These kids would probably sound just as good live, and that is not something you can say about most artists in the charts today. Awesome!

Wow. Muse should see this. This is purely phenomenal! Everything about this is every bit professional. Guitar solos were awesome, drums right on, vocalist is amazing, and of course, Ellen rockin' out on bass.

It is. They're a "real" band now (about to release their second album on Republic) but years The Warning - three sisters - performed Hysteria at their middle school Liceo in Monterrey MX, ages 15/13/10. The bassist is the 10-year-old and once they're done she looks at her hand as if to make sure all the fingers are still there LOL.
