Jesus CHRIST! The level of talent with these kid rock bands is astonishing. That little guy on guitar... age 9?? The whole band... I'm 71 years old and there were NO kids that could play like that in my day, none. That little Ellen played that bass line like she wrote the goddam thing. WOW!!!!
I'm in my 60's and we had garage bands playing "Smoke on the water" - this is FIRE! Imagine where these kids go from here...Until Ellen played Muse, I'd never heard the song, and she powers thru it like "what's for lunch"...at that little guy on the guitar is hangin it out there, and so is that drummer...so cool. The vocals - lead and accompany - are driving it home. I'd sit and listen to this band all day...

I have on previous comments. I think Charlotte is an excellent guitarist in her own right. I hope that Yoyoka, Ellen and Charlotte collaborate well into the future.. I could see them be a supergoup the likes of Steely Dan, surrounding themselves with top shelf session players and playing many different genres. We can only hope. 😁

Yoyoka is, probably, the best young drummer in the world. She is on the Drummer World list of Top 500 drummers of all time, as the youngest person ever (at 11). And she is the winner of the best young drummer of the year award 2023. She regularly plays at the Whisky a Go Go (rock) and The Baked Potato (jazz). There are more than 600 videos on her channel.

Just didn't know how good. I'm sure Ellen's dad had a lot to do with taming some of Bay's wildness and get him synched in with Charlotte on the lead guitar parts on these two songs.
Ellen really got to show just how accomplished she is on that bass! Did you botice Yoyoka's superb drum work? No? That's right. She served the song and she did it perfectly. No over playing. Of course she is here on an artist's visa as a professional musician. She's 14. This gtoup could cut an album right now. Lordy, they are so amazing!

yeah this group could fill arenas imo. someone get them to form a legit band and give them a contract. even if all they do are covers for a while they could open for anyone on tour.

Whenever I see that Ellen and Yoyoka have gotten together I get excited. They are both amazing musicians and both have the same attitude towards their music: to keep it fun. I realise that they both have their own life and career trajectories to follow but I selfishly hope that their paths cross many times in the future. That goes for all of these talented individuals.
Drums and Bass hold a band together and they need to be in sync. So Yoyoka is already a master, and Ellen, although a little younger, just keeps getting better and better...
Some people may write this off as a heavily edited studio production, but having heard what these kids are able to do individually there is probably only a few takes and hardly any editing at all. These kids would probably sound just as good live, and that is not something you can say about most artists in the charts today. Awesome!

You're not wrong! YOYOKA played live on stage in front of 30K audience for Cyndi Lauper on one occasion, and Fallout Boy for another, WHEN she was 10 y.o.
Wow. Muse should see this. This is purely phenomenal! Everything about this is every bit professional. Guitar solos were awesome, drums right on, vocalist is amazing, and of course, Ellen rockin' out on bass.
This was very, VERY cool. All of the instrumentals were on point, and I could tell all the kids had a real passion for what they were doing. Very cool to see. I also loved how the main singer had her own style, but also some of the cry in the ends of her phrases really paid homage to Matt’s style, so it felt like a really nice nod to the original. She also seems to have a bit of Hayley Williams in her style, which I like a lot. And the backing vocals were great, and really brought depth to the performance. Everyone was just awesome!

They're a "real" band now (about to release their second album on Republic) but years The Warning - three sisters - performed Hysteria at their middle school Liceo in Monterrey MX, ages 15/13/10. The bassist is the 10-year-old and once they're done she looks at her hand as if to make sure all the fingers are still there LOL.

3. The guitar girl! Oh my God! what a feeling, what a rhythm, what agility in your hands! thanks to life that you have chosen the path of music!
4. The chorus girl! I'm amazed with your vocal talent! how wonderful to listen to you!
5. Bass player... I'm speechless listening to you and seeing you being so professional in the handling of that instrument! You do all the honor to the composer of the riff of the song and in general your coordination with everyone!
6. My favorite, the lead singer! At first I thought the pitch was too low for your register! but, it can't be real! what a beautiful second chorus done in your vocal register! I was about to cry from the joy of knowing that people like you exist! It's an honor and I'm glad I'm still alive to have been able to listen to you! to all of you!

It is. They're a "real" band now (about to release their second album on Republic) but years The Warning - three sisters - performed Hysteria at their middle school Liceo in Monterrey MX, ages 15/13/10. The bassist is the 10-year-old and once they're done she looks at her hand as if to make sure all the fingers are still there LOL.
This song is a piece of cake for Yoyoka but Ellen kills it.
