WHY MOVING TO THE AZORES DIDN'T SOLVE MY PROBLEMS

Life in paradise isn't always as perfect and magical as it might seem. Moving to a remote island and living in paradise also has it's disadvantages and people living in paradise also have problems, worries and stresses.
Moving to a beautiful place doesn´t magically make life the way we want it to be. Struggles and challenges are part of the human experience and life becomes normal doesn´t matter where we live.
For most of us appreciation and gratitude fades over time and the more we dive into normality unless we activly work on our awareness and change our perspective by starting to romanticize our ordinary life instead of life in paradise.

A little bit about myself

My name is Rahel, I'm from Germany and in 2015 I moved to the Azores to work as a second skipper for a Whale-watching company. In 2020 I lost my job and began filming to document and share the mesmerizing landscape and peacefulness of this remote place in the middle of the Atlantic. Now I make videos full time and live a simple and quiet island life in an old stone house on Pico Island.
In my slow paced videos you get to explore unique nature and a different way of living and perceiving life.
