If anybody’s interested. I just confirmed with my general manager today that Hope Mills North Carolina is looking for three more drivers. It’s a great location. We’re approximately two hours from Myrtle Beach. We put on some good miles here. You can use John is a reference.
Dang man I need 6 more months experience to apply. I live in Reidsville/Burlington area, that would be perfect. Should I hit them up to let them know I’m interested?
Just seems being gone for five days to be home two. Use lose almost everything. Time with family watching kids grow up. Security in the home. Hobbies. Cram two days and go. Man that’s gotta suck
I know someone that drives for walmart and he had to get his hazmat , now a year later he still hasn't had a hazmat load and he said others have gone years without having hazmat . Seems they would get more drivers if they got rid of that requirement and paid the ones who haul it more money
Can you explain how the WM drivers get their time off? How many days on and then what's time of like? I work a dedicated route with swift in New Mexico at the Walmart DC, which is ok, but the pay isn't as good as other places. I want to apply at Walmart, but I want to make sure I get weekly time off like swift. Good job, Thanks Chris
Then they fire you because you have Metro and Marty Evans gets your lease cancelled. Walmart is a company filled with very friendly people whose smiles don't quite reach their eyeballs.
DEFINITELY GOOD PLACE TO WORK LOVE IT 4 YEARS NOW AT WALMART ANYONE LIVES IN NORTHEAST ALL THE DCs HIRING 😂😂USE JOHN KEN OR ME VINCENT DRIVER AS A REFERENCE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT
I just saw today that Cleburne Texas are hiring drivers and I'm thinking about applying and I'm from Temple Texas. Do you know if the Temple TX DC has their own fleet? Lastly can I also use you as a reference please?
Definitely put my name and number down. And send me an email if you do. Walmartpd21@gmail.com. I'm not to sure of the details over there but if the job is listed on drive4walmart.com as a truck driver position then that's what your looking for
The only issue is sometimes drivers get caught on there phones in the windshield reflection. Forward facing camers only but depending on daylight you can loose your job if you get caught on your phone
I don't think it's a problem. The guy I just trained had 5 jobs in the last 3 years. Really the listed minimum requirements on the website are followed to the letter. So if you meet those. You're good
Hey John, I’ve been a Walmart Asset Protection Investigator in Las Vegas for almost a year now and would love to enroll in the associate to driver program so I can obtain my CDL and drive for Walmart. Do you happen to know what steps I need to take so I can be accepted into the program?
You said that you have Thursday ad Friday off. Do you actually get home Wednesday night ? Trying to Guage if you are actually getting your full weekend and what home time is like driving for walmart
My dad, deceased in '57 drone an 18-wheeler Big Mack, no CB but truckers used hand signals out the window when they wanted to meet up, like at a diner. He had the snow belt in upstate ny for the milk company he drove for, Manchester Farms in Booneville, NY. What a ride but what a great bunch of guys!
They do but they are already 100% private fleet and have a very low turn over rate. So it's super rare. The job listing may only be up for a few hours if it ever gets listed
Hello, thanks for your video, what can you tell me about a driver that have driven since 2004 clean record but for the last 4 years has been in an industry other than trucking. What opportunities or options would this person have with Walmart?
Can’t slip seat, I’m a germaphobe. I think sharing trucks and bunks is bad. Also it seems uncomfortable to wear those uniforms while driving… specially for us fat guys!!! 😂
Some DCs have more trucks than drivers but they won't tell you that Intel until your already hired. Worst case 1 to 2 years slip seating then your own truck. I hear you. I sanitized every truck I was in like crazy
im a walmart associate for 6 months and i want to work for walmart as a cdl driver through the training program they offer. I would like to know how many off days do you get a week, PTO, PPTO (if offered) and what is the farthest you drove away from your home state? 😅 i would like to be near family.
Not many. $100 per mentee and if they go 1 year without safety issues then you get $500. It's more about just doing something different and getting paid your average day pay
I have felonies too. The minimum requirements doesn't say anything about misdemeanor/felony. Some companies are anal about it. My last company, that I just quit, didn't really care about that stuff.
Have a good day Sir. Thank You

A update from my GTM. We need 14 drivers asap and another 15 by the end of the year.. might be sooner if the new tractors arrive earlier.

It's not that hard to get hazmat
I’m currently in auto but driving would be my next step driving for Walmart make more money

@@walmartprofessionaldriver thank you.
Do you have good vacations and good home time?
In the past 3 years I have job hopped quite a lot, would that stop me from being hired at Walmart. I don’t have any accidents or tickets
I would like to know too. Because everybody that applied at my DC including me. Did not get accepted 😪
So you can double check with your manager but I believe there is a link somewhere on onewalmart.com. search associate to driver program
What are all the shifts ?
You said that you have Thursday ad Friday off. Do you actually get home Wednesday night ? Trying to Guage if you are actually getting your full weekend and what home time is like driving for walmart
Ya so tomorrow morning I will wake up at 3 am and probably get off between 11 and 2pm. I'll be making a video about this in more detail this weekend
I never see walmart trucks sleeping at truckstops, Do you take your 10h at a store or dc?
Anywhere we want. We can go to truck stops but Walmart stores can e better for us and DC's have showers and coffee for free
Do you get to take your truck home?
how do you get in contact with driver info or with dispatch
Pretty sure you emailed me. I replied
What is the schedule like? How many days? How many hours a week?
I just made a video about this. My 5 day on 2 day off schedule I work on average 62 hours

Can I use you as a reference. I’m about to apply today . They have spots available in Texas
Please do. Email me if you need anything. And I will have something for you too. Walmartpd21@gmail.com
Is the audio off or am I trippin 😆
Ive been on the Walmart careers website and dont see any southeast regional driver positions. Do you know if they hire in that region?
They do but they are already 100% private fleet and have a very low turn over rate. So it's super rare. The job listing may only be up for a few hours if it ever gets listed
Does Walmart allow team driving ?
What kind of discount do you get from Walmart while working there if any?
Just a 10% discount on general merchandise and some grocery items.
Hello, thanks for your video, what can you tell me about a driver that have driven since 2004 clean record but for the last 4 years has been in an industry other than trucking. What opportunities or options would this person have with Walmart?
None unfortunately. Unless you are working for Walmart. We have an associate to driver program. Otherwise you need to get current experience
Can’t slip seat, I’m a germaphobe. I think sharing trucks and bunks is bad. Also it seems uncomfortable to wear those uniforms while driving… specially for us fat guys!!! 😂

How long is the mentor training? What are the qualifications to be a mentor
Every DC is different but there is a time with the company requirement that varies and no safety issues. I didn't apply. They volunteered me
Hope you don’t wear your hat backwards all the time
What are the perks and benefits of being a mentor
Not many. $100 per mentee and if they go 1 year without safety issues then you get $500. It's more about just doing something different and getting paid your average day pay
Could you pick your schedule at Walmart ? Or they pick ur schedule for you?
They assign you what's available when your hired then every spring we do shift bids, where you get to choose based off your seniority
They pay by Miles?
@@ramonfigueroa5203 miles is about half our pay. We also get activity pay. Drop, hook, live load, wait time, chaining, etc.
Don’t forget sleep pay
What is the pay for a 1st year driver there in porterville? I’m in the process of being hired
Up to 110k
Does any one know how far back they check your DL history
Do you know if you can work for Walmart if have a felony ? It’s been 7 years
Look at the minimum qualifications on drive4walmart.com under a job listing. The requirements are black and white with time limits
I have felonies too. The minimum requirements doesn't say anything about misdemeanor/felony. Some companies are anal about it. My last company, that I just quit, didn't really care about that stuff.
Does it pay well to work for WM? Why or why not. Explain in details.
Easily Over 100k 1st year with 25 days paid days off. They treat us exceptionally well.
Can you do solos
As opposed to team? We are by our self in the truck all week
What drug test are they doing?
Standard dot test
Quaker Quak
💞 Promo-SM
Lol u can make the same money at a local job & be home every night duh
Walmart is a good company and yes they drug test a hair test to weed out dope heads.
No need to call people names. Some of those dope heads are veterans that use cannabis to treat their PTSD.
Do they do piss test?
Yes
What are some of the schedules ?
