Please do more of these videos. I have a close loved one that’s interested in driving for Walmart. Your video helps my anxiety with them leaving for days at a time. It doesn’t look so scary as i pictured.
Just subscribed, good video. I'm planning on doing the associate to driver program maybe next year, still studying a lot of things lol. I'm completely new to trucking, but I watch a lot of videos about backing, pre-trip, etc. I also play american truck simulator because it's the closest thing I can get to real life. Thanks again for making videos, because it really does help out people like me.
Awesome! Keep studying and you'll do excellent. Also make sure your family can handle you being away. Luckily it's only like 4 nights at the most. But other companies it's weeks. Working for other trucking companies sucks but Walmart is the best trucking job I've ever had! Definitely wish I came here sooner.
I'm an A2D here in Texas. I say go for it! It's definitely challenging, but more rewarding than anything! I just finished my 1st year as a Walmart driver and this, by far, has been the best job I've had. The school will give you the tools to be successful and your trainers will guide you on whatever the school didn't cover.
Great video! I appreciate the humor and the editing. I'm currently an owner operator leased to Landstar. Maintenance, repairs, and lack of health insurance is making me question and look into moving over to Walmart.
There was two Landstar guys in my onboarding. You won't regret this I bet. Hit me up at TTLWALMART@GMAIL.COM if you have any questions. Also check out my live video I answer most frequently asked questions.
I was an O/O and got tired of it and got on at Walmart. Been solo about a month now and I'm not looking back. If you can get in I would highly recommend it. Onboarding is intense but after that, you're good to go.
@@kakarot82I’m a former O/O as well. I just applied online for the Walmart driver position out of Spring Valley Illinois. How long is the onboarding process?
@Kevo1993 Onboarding week is four days if all goes well. You may have to go back for Friday. A couple of people got to start over again the next week. I believe that is the "finishing school". You pass, the next week is classroom teaching you things you need to know. After that week, we did a week with the mentor driving and you work the tablet. Hopefully by then you are clear to drive. Then you do one to two weeks with your mentor watching/teaching while you do everything. When you and he are comfortable, you go solo. Most important thing. Seriously. After you pass on boarding, RELAX! You're in

Good morning. I’m from fontana and I want to apply but I went to “drive4Walmart” and only saw postings for yard and city drivers. Is there a way to apply for shuttle drivers if there is no posting
Unfortunately no. And even more unfortunate is that they do not have an alert system so you will have to keep checking back I would do it weekly or bi-weekly! Make sure you tell them you know me when you do and you'll get the phone interview quickly
Yes. There's also different blues depending on the dc. I wanted white but after careful consideration I decided against it because I'm a grease magnet!
Hey brother, really enjoyed the video, been trucking now for 4 years doing dry van, been home every weekend. The pay isn't too bad where i'm at but i've heard really good things about Wal-Mart too. Possibly considering changing within the next year or two. How often are you home in your schedule? You said about every 5 to 6 days?
