Great review, I got my Fan3 couple of months ago and I spent some hours to understand and train my brain to the BC , after that it was just unbelievable how amazing this iem has became…
Ooohhh yeah..at last 😅 Thanks for a great review as always. Got mine few days ago... already had the fan 2 which i liked but after just 10 hours or so of listening, i also find that the fan 3 is in another level Thanks again ❤
Do you think it's worth the extra money? I have the Fan 2 and am pretty happy with it. Not sure if the 3 is worth the diference (i bought the fan2 with 50% off). Maybe 11.11 will make it worthwhile 😅
I also bought my set with a 50% discount, so for a $174, its a no brainer upgrade ;) I also opted for the space modular cable ..it was also half the price which was $50 instead of $100. 😊
Great review Akros! I love my Fan 2 but always wanted a touch more bass and a little more treble, Done with the Fan 3! Fantastic sounding. I have always wanted the ISN H60 but wonder now if it would be worth the purchase since the Fan 3 arrived? Thanks again for all your hard work Akros!
Great review Akros. thanks so much. as someone who owns a penon fan 2 (my start to the audiophile journey xD) i hope penon keep launching these great iems. i like their sound signature. I love the sound on the penon fan 2 but i changed the cable (its awful imo) and i also had fit issues with the iem itself... kept switching tips to find something that suited me more and kept the damn thing in place. ahah. still love it ps. penon does quite a few promos throughout the year and i bought the fan 2 50% off last christmas. :) just need to create an account on their website.
I'm trying to decide between this and the Performer 5+2. They are both the exact same price at the moment on Aliexpress. What would you choose, having heard both? Thanks!

The Fan 3 and Shock made me ignore most other sets without bone conduction. I picked up the DMA as well, and I'm hoping the upcoming ISN EBC80 will be the Shock+H60 upgrade that will make me stop looking at new releases for a couple years.
Thanks for another penon review, hope you may bring the review of a sibling the Tansio Shock with a strange shell that cannot compete in beauty with other Tnasios but offers a lot of flexibility to make your custom sound + bone conduction.
You got me hyped for this one, though knowing Penon, I'll wait for the 50% discount coupons that are sure to land in their newsletter. Still thoroughly enjoying the fan2.
When i hit Checkout on Aliexpress it rounds to about 230$ total. But yeah, i'll wait to grab it for cheaper too. No point in spending 350$ for a product that goes down to 170-180$ from what i've read on Head-Fi. Classic Aliexpress nonsense, Fan 3 is about 70$ cheaper than Fan 2 for whatever reason. Funnily, even w/o "price adjustments due to VAT", just looking at Penons store, Fan 3 says 277$ and Fan 2 340$.
Thank you very much for this review. Before investing in the Oriolus Isabellae Set. I'm looking for a set closer to this one. With all your experience, can you guide me please? Maybe top 5 under $250 close to 90% :-)
The Fan 3 has the most accurate sound reproduction, timbre and tonality, for the money, of all the iems I own, and everyone in the iem game should buy a set. Unlike Akros, my Fan 3 required no burn in and no brain burn with bone conduction on, as though Penon had already burned it in for me right out of the box. Perhaps set variance? Fan 3 is a movie iem in my opinion, with the BC on it widens the sound stage and enhances Dolby Atmos / DTS X, and with the ergonomic fit, it's amazing for long hours of movie and TV marathoning! @Akros, have you watched a movie with the Fan 3 yet? I highly recommend it. Dunu SS tips or Penon Liqueur Silicone tips, improve the Fan 3. Also, you forgot to add the graphs at the end of the video.

Despite all that I sold both and will be getting something new on these 11.11 sales. Thinking ISN H60 or maybe EST50
@@amanieux Got My H60 with OCC849 Cable. It's almost exactly what I wanted. It has bass that rivals Hype 4, and more midbass to be honest which i like a lot. It's also an energetic iem. To reach the goal of 10,000 subscribers and not change the format of videos, you need to focus on the mass market, popular inexpensive (200 USD max) headphones, and it is desirable to do reviews faster than others (or more or less simultaneously with other reviewers). Penon is cool, no questions. But few people will buy it, compared to the army of KZ fans. For example, if you do a review of the new Castor Pro, views and subscriptions will definitely grow.
