great reviews Akros, I've had the i3 mk3 for 3 months, with more listening time, I realized that the tuning proposal was successfully fulfilled, my perception and that it's a balanced IEM for me, it doesn't lack and shouldn't in any way have great depth of controlled bass, midrange natural tones with a great level of detail and treble tones with great airiness without being harsh, logically this type of tuning is not for everyone but it is a gem little explored in evaluations.
glad you made one for the performer 5+2 i ve been hearing many good things and i was wondering about your take. Will consider also a take on some of the iems coming with bone conductor drivers? e.g : thieaudio origin ,Tangzu bajie, and tanso mirai shock?
Wonderful video Akros. As a fan of planars I was considering picking up the i3 Mk3, but then I saw the new Aful and I have to say I am completely hyped for it. I love the MagicOne, the Explorer, and the P5. My favorite is probably the explorer, and the P5+2 looks like an Explorer with a bit more detail, extension, and clarity. I can't wait for it to go on sale. I have the DaVinci and really like it. Need to find myself a DynaQuatrro as well, I want to try the all DD wonderset
Have all these except for the Aful which isn't being sold yet, and I mostly agree with your choices. I hope you have the TSMR Shock incoming. I think that purple candy will blow your mind.
It's so nice to see that you post videos so often))) I heard in one of your previous videos that fewer and fewer people are watching them. I wouldn't want to teach the maestro how to do his thing. Just in case, I'll note that TH-cam algorithms like regular consistency, when a video is posted strictly, for example, twice a week at 2:00 PM on certain days... In that case, TH-cam will recommend them for viewing more often. Also, people like all sorts of... top 10 recommendations. Like the best headphones for jazz/games/rock/pop/Korean pop/orchestra/musical/organic/natural/betterforyourmoney, etc. I know it's stupid when you can just make high-quality videos that you already make... But that's reality. And maybe expand the range of devices to review a little. Dongles, for example. Or just share the theory, your thoughts, do streams. People like that. The audience will grow. If you need it. It's hard to see your views go down when you put so much effort into them, I get it. But you're not a young Asian-girl blogger, you're an dude with ugly fingers and the best audio reviewer on the planet. People don't need the best, they need a show. Just reality. You're making content for a small group of people - it will grow little by little. But it won't be big if you don't make a show. {I don't speak English well, sorry}.
By the way, on your advice, I bought SuperMix. Really phenomenal - the best headphones I have. And how much for AFUL Perfomer 5+2, I can't find the price for it...
The Performer 5+2 has my interest. I have the Performer 5 and Explorer and love them both. It seems that we have similar sound preferences. I also have the Dynaquattro, Davinci, Mega 5 EST, and Serial in my top favorites. I liked the H60 a lot, but the lack of proper venting caused me too much pressure build-up over time.
How would you compare? Dyna Quattro DaVinci + awful five plus two. I'm up in the air with those actually more so dynacarta versus awful 5 + 2 like in terms of detail but also in terms of Base
@genohero6139 Dynaquattro has the better bass, the Performer 5 + 2 has the better detail due to better treble extension. The Dynaquattro has better vocals though, at least IMO.
hi akros, what dongle dacs do you recommend to drive isn h60? i got them very sensitive iem and prone to hissing. so i ended up using a dunu impedance adapter on it. but still curious what dongle that match their power and sound wise? thank you
Akros, in your review it is not entirely clear how Simgot sm4 and TRI i3 mk3 are compared. It is especially interesting, they say that TRI has better detailing?
Out of these i'd go for the tri. If lack of bass is it's only downside it can be easily fixed with tip rolling or eq (it seems great to use with eq). Plus price. The others' negatives are more difficult to overcome.

I know you already helped me with my question about the non -filtered nozzle on the P5+2, but i could i possibly bother you for your opinion again? I am now trying to decide between the Agul P5+2, the Xenns Tea Pro, and the ISN Neo5. My favorite iem i have own right now is the Aful Magicone and this would be my fist iem past the $150 range. I want to prioritize bass guitars, high hats, cymbals, and male vocals. Any opinions i greatly appreciate!
@@Quo_Audito hi well Neo5 is great in the bass but perhaps falls a little behind in terms of high hats, cymbals. Tea Pro I can't give you my take as I haven't heard. Performer 5+2 Is a MagicOne with more.serious bass quality and quantity , so I would choose the AFUL!
Anyone willing to share their experiences with open nozzled/non mesh filtered IEMs? I'm planning to purchase the P5+2 (although the DynaQuattro is being considered as well) but it would be my first iem that doesn't come with a dust guard in the nozzle. That kinda makes me feel iffy about it, as I'm not sure how much more prone that may make the iem to damage within the nozzle. I found some iem filters on AliExpress, but am unsure about how to measure the inside of the iem nozzle to get a good fit or what glue to use to help keep the mesh in place?
@@Quo_Auditowell the filter less noozles require a little more care, but nothing special. Get some 200 grade black filters in 4mm and 4.3mm and 4.5mm Just stick it on the nozzle and it will offer a little extra protection.
I never had an issue with filterless nozzles based on my experience with thruthear hexa, which I own for about 1 year and aful explorer, which I got 1 month ago. I wear my iem's multiple hours at a time. I guess it depends on the type of earwax in your ears and your cleaning routine.

Excellent video. Thank you Tony. I would have thrown in the CCA Hydro for sure in my list along with the rest featured in this video.
