Simple tip while using the front brake is to unload the forks. By that I mean, you should brake lightly at first so the forks get compressed and then you can add more pressure faster on the lever. This will reduce your chances of lockup and losing the front end.

+Santosh N Brother its not about how much percentage should be applied to front and back, the front brake has 70% stopping power and back brake has 30%. So both should be applied accordingly, more of back brake will cause rear to lock up and more of front will wash out the front end.
Fuel Injected Heyy bro it's obvious as Motorcycle's are equipped with two brakes one in the front n rear its common sense to apply both gradually if i go with your recommendation and apply 70% or by your words if i decompress Front Break Lever more than the rear, chances of Vehicle Leaning Forward is high it may cause a Stoppie. Because of this rear tyre will be in the air for few milli seconds in rare cases maybe in seconds depending upon the speed of the vehicle. Then what is the use of breaking in the rear where the tyre is no way in contact with the tarmac and it will be difficult to control. By my experience riding for near 7years on my Bajaj Pulsar 220 found out that 1> only REAR : easy to control the motorcyle but the stopping power is way way more.(lot of distance covered before u finally stop) 2> only Front : due to the high forces acting and ceter of gravity of the motor cycle shifting to front can cause vehice to lean and loosing balance ( short distace to come to a complete stop,) 3> 70% Rear + 30% Front : Effective Breaking Using Rear breakes more will ensure that vehice is easy to control and using 30% Front ensures that you stop effectively ( total control of vehicle , minute adjustments are possible using handlebar to avoid collision) PS : correct me if i'm wrong
