Hi, is luggage rack compatible with any of these bikes?: Gixxer, FZ, CB Hornet, apache rtr 200 or 180 ?. Also how much did it cost here?

sanket sansare Hey, I have asked in local markets and welders & seen a few bikes with locally custom made racks. I have seen about 4-5 all are either too heavy or too light and weak & all just don't have the finishing or good look even though they are very cheap. How's been your experience?

1. Thread locker. Temporary glue like stuff so that the bolts don't come off lose. The one I'm using is made by Anabond, easily available. Don't use too much of it. Tip: Use it on your mirror mounts also
2. 7kgs could be a lot if planned well :) This also, works as a safety net for the pillion ;)

can i fix a Givi box on top of this?
+svijay94712012 I haven't tried it but I don't see why you won't be able to fit a GIVI top box on to this. I'm pretty sure it will work. SW-Motech does have top boxes with quick release base and soft tail packs that fit on this, albeit expensive.
+svijay94712012 As @2UpTrails mentioned, it is possible to mount a Givi top case on this rack. You would just need the appropriate adapter plate to mount it. SW Motech does make adapter plates for Givi top cases as well. Drop us a line at info@bigbadbikes.com in case you would like more information
