the dad in the first story is a huge POS for telling his kids something like that. hopefully those poor kids were able to get as far away from him as possible and hopefully the dad eventually got sent to jail for what he put his kids through. smh

My grandpa tricked my mom to came with him to the docks (he saw a dolphin or something like that), before suddenly grabbing her and throwing her into the sea to teach her how to swimm! She panicked (obviously!) and almost drowned while he just stood there and watched! When her brother tried to jump in to save her, he grabbed him and would let him do so! Luckily she learned how to swimm and never had any issues with the sea/water but things could have ended horribly wrong!

I grew up in a high pressure environment, my mom had a saying "here we don't do great, we cultivate excellence" if things weren't perfect, she wouldn't get upset but just act very disappointed. When I got a 99% she'd say things like "oh it's not that bad"

How can you tell when someone is an alcoholic...they try to justify their behavior by making excuses like "It's only drinking and driving if you're drinking while driving." That's why the law needed to specify driving under the influence/driving while intoxicated, but, some people will try anything to justify their behavior.

9:55 great thing is that less and less people tend to do that (the ,,exposure therapy") but sandly it does very much depend on the phobia. I have a very specific phobia and pleople either think I'm joking oraz that it's too ridiculous to even be a phobia
I cannot even name the phobia unless its someone I 100% trust cuz people will send me photos of said trigger, make fun of me for it or even nickname me the name of said trigger cuz ,,it's ridiculous/I have nothing to fear and I need to realize that the thing I'm scared of is actually ,,cute"
I think snakes are cute, even the ,,scary" ones but you don't see me sending photos of them to people with the phobia.

The story about the crippling perfectionism sounds similar to what I hear about the parents of a lot of the kids in my online school. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a bit of a perfectionist too, but my parents are usually happy that I just do my best. I’m content with having mid to low A’s on the subjects I like, and high B’s on the subjects I don’t care for as much. But oh boy… I hear from a lot of the kids in my online school about how their parents would give them angry lectures or yell at them for not getting A’s. Those kids situations concern me…

3:22 my mom did that shit so now I don't talk to her about anything excited or personal and good more to my dad and deep down ik she's jealous of my dad that I'm more close to her any time we're hanging out she'll come out and hover like we're not aware of her presence. She doesn't ever make an effort to hang out with me anymore we missed one episode of TMS (the masked singer) from last season (not the previous one that's even the season after TT won) and she told me to catch up on my own I still haven't yet but now she doesn't care about it anymore my grandmother doesn't have anyone to talk about it with since we haven't been watching it and that makes me feel bad.
I was taught at a young age whatever I ate had no consequences because I was still underweight for my age my mom fed me junk food and I was slightly chubby by the end if the year. 7th grade was bully for my weight and was wearing a size 16 in 8th grade. Starved myself over the summer going into high school and became a size 12. Sophomore year stopped eating one meal a day and would occasionally skip meals a couple times a week then from staving myself started binge eating at night and was a size 15. Worked better eith my therapist amd became a size 20 (still not a good thing). Lost weight last year and became a size 18 mom was like hey let's eat even more unhealthy (didn't congratulate me on my weight loss like my dad did just stared at me weird) gained all ten pounds back. I do not have access to a gym because I can't drive (only have a permit and broke asf so I can't Uber), we don't have any gym equipment except my dad's weight bench (we're all obese ofc we don't have gym equipment), we have a gigantic yard I can run around in with my pup but I don't have any shoes I can run around in because I can't afford anything (literally the shoes I take her out in are these old converse so messed up and small my heals hang out of them you you can see my sock they're size 9 I wear 10.5 I complain about not having shoes and my dad's like tough luck but buys himself shoes to mow the grass in- offers coupons to a shoe store for my mom to spend if she chooses to, THEY GET WASTED)
    I can't stand these people

That people were bullying me because I was lying about my mental health
(I wasn't. I was trying so hard to figure out what was wrong with me and telling people my symptoms and that I was being abused at home in hopes of getting help. They bullied me because they viewed me as a weak stupid crazy person and because I was trans/gay.)
I was a burden if I asked for help/needed something and was too short to get it
If I'm not perfect I'm worthless
I was scared out of getting mental help because "You're just lying for attention" and "they labotomize crazy people like you so keep it to yourself!"
Now I don't trust therapy or mental health professionals because guess what
IM SCHIZOPHRENIC. And that planted a permanent paranoia that I can't get rid of even though I know it's not real I'm terrified of telling the truth about my symptoms.

I don't like it when someone taps me even in order to get my attantion, there was a girl in school who tapped me on the shoylder, I simply told her to please not do that as it bothered me, well a while later she had done it again (she forgot) and I simply reminded her and she apologized, and there wasn't much issue from then on.
Her poking/tapping me was unwanted touching, however, it would have been uncalled for (in that case) just to punch her because of it.

How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? In the very first story, the stepdad was harming those poor children and he told them that about foster parents just play mind games with their heads and keep them fearing him. He is a very evil man. In the second story, the dad should be completely ashamed of himself for putting his child's life in danger like that. If he chooses to drink and drive then he should do that alone and definitely without any children in his car. In the third story, their parents caused them to miss out on the opportunity of having life long friends. When I was in school, I rarely ever had any conflicts with my friends because I was a very peaceful kid back then, but if I heard they had tension with me then I would try to do whatever I could to just resolve it right then and there so that we hug it out or dap each other up and be cool once again. In the fourth story, the parent's are describing the Eddie Murphy movie A Thousand Words which came out in 2012. The parents basically stole the whole plot of the movie. In the fifth story, the dad's words came back to bite him real hard. In the sixth story, if he would've took his parents advice then he would've most definitely ended up all alone. I love you my friend!! Have a great day!! Stay safe!!
