Ahsoka: So I’m to be assigned to Master Kenobi?
Master Yoda: No. To Young Skywalker you must go.
Ahsoka: Why?
Master Yoda: Funnier, it is.
Yoda: Post his reaction to Tubeyou, I will. *Yoda giggle*
Ahsoka should've been Plo Koon's Padawan not Anakin's
@@lukescrew1981 I feel like I just sinned forgetting the Giga Chad that is Plo Koon.
@@PopeDuwang cant wait for the malevolent arc up next
@@lukescrew1981I'm pretty sure he already had one, he's just not mentioned in the show
It's funny that Ahsoka went from the Star Wars community absolutely hating her for the most part, to her becoming one of the most celebrated and beloved characters in the franchise. 💜
It’s almost like the community is fickle and just doesn’t like new content
@@MUFFUGHCCINJONESThat’s a bit much. Sure we get a lil bit overzealous but it’s just because we’ve been hurt a few times and aren’t as trusting anymore.
@@MUFFUGHCCINJONESNo, she was literally designed to be unlikable in the early seasons so that they could develop her character and deeping our connection with her by seeing her grow
@@MUFFUGHCCINJONES Who would've thunk.
The writers stepped up
Ahsoka is how you introduce a new character into a pre-existing story *correctly*
She started off being kind of hated by most of the fanbase, but as time went on and her character arc progressed she slowly turned into an all time favorite
Mattel should learn a thing or 2 from star wars huh ?
i mean, at this point star wars was still george lucas owned, he could do and did what he wanted, so if he woke up 1 morning and says to himself, anakin had a padawan, then thats what happened
@@rvds2040 but what if he contradicted himself ?
Then it's a problem.
Yeah no she shouldn't exist
yupp!!! ashoka is one of dave feloni's brain babies.
this is where Dave's saving of the franchise started
“But you might make it as mine” ughh the goosebumps every time🥺💔
Yeah Ahsoka was absolutely despised by the community when she first arrived. But through some of the best development in series history she's now one of the most beloved characters in the series. And without spoiling anything she gets some absolutely badass moments in this show among others.
she was realistic as well, it was realistic cause if i was told i was going to be trained by Anakin skywalker i'd be full of myself
What development?
@@lukescrew1981watch the show and find out.
Ahsoka is actually was a reason why Anakin dont go full psycho early
Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka, just had her birthday
"I hope ashoka is a big part of this" then you'll be happy my dude. It's so cool to see someone discovering star wars like this and enjoying it this much.
Never clicked on a video faster. Saw this in theaters and still love it
This was in theaters?!?!
@@EpicRandomness555 yep back in the day
@@EpicRandomness555yessir! This is the original “3d” clone wars. This released in theatres back in 2008 I believe, and the series came out a couple years later based on the success of the movie.
Fun fact: both of Anakin's padawan (Ahsoka from this show and Starkiller from the Force Unleashed legends games) hold their lightsaber in an inverted grip
As the audience that watched the show got older and more mature, so did the series and even Ahsoka herself. 💚 💛 💜
Wrong
@lukescrew1981 noone asked you, there's literally no reason to try and ruin the fun of other people who love this series. It just makes you look foolish.
@@mimic1984 Except you didn't say anything about fun or enjoyment.
FOR REAL. I re watch the end battle of clone wars ALOT IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW. and seeing her here is CRAZYYYYYYYYYYY to rememeber she was just a little shitty teenager.
@lukescrew1981 Literally all you're doing is bringing negative vibes needlessly
I love that the first guy says "roxas, you guys don't even know what that is!" I do he's a character from Kingdom hearts one of my favorite video games series of all time!
So basically when a child becomes a Jedi and starts training (typically ages infant until 12-15) they are put in classes like in school, and are trained in groups with things like normal education, combat, and force knowledge. Somewhere along the line they build a lightsaber, and then a bit after that, they get "adopted" by a Jedi Knight as their padawan (student). They then train under that knight for really as long as they want, until they then have to go through a series of trials. Once they succesfully complete these trials, they are officially Knighted. And if they are specially exceptional, they could be promoted by the council to Jedi Master, and actually be a part of the council. And Yoda is the leader of the entire order and refered to and the Jedi Grandmaster.
Also, Ahsoka is usually understood to be around 14 at this time, and by the end of the clone wars is 17
Hutts are a species with their own language.
Oh, by the way, Rex, best Clone ever. He is the best. I love Rex.
One of the bests i'd say.
THE BEST STAR WARS CHARACTER
@@leonduncan3327 I mean yeah, Cody, 5s, Heavy and the Bad Batch for example are also great
This was actually one of the first movies I remember seeing in theaters, right alongside TMNT and Hoodwinked. Such a bizarre experience looking back on it. It was Star Wars' big return to the big screen, yet I had not heard a single person talking about it up to its release.
The bond between Anakin & Ahsoka throughout the series is amazing like brother & sister
Padawan Learners (the kids training at the temple in full classes) are Padawans who have not been assigned to a Master. Once assigned, the full rank of Padawan is granted. Also, Ahsoka did come off annoying when this first released until the fanbased realized that was intentional because most young Padawans are annoying, especially if they are like Anakin.
Padawan and Padawan learners are synonymous terms. Students who are waiting for a master are still Initiates. They are technically still initiates, even after completing the initiate trials which puts them up for apprenticeship.
dave felonis magic system make people hate a female character when you bring them in, then for some reason they are worshipped as one of the best characters in the franchise.
The kids in the temples are Younglings a Padawan is what you are once you are assigned a master Padawan learner is just a full title
Ahsoka went from one of the most hated to one of one of the most loved starwars characters.
Ahsoka is my favorite Star Wars character. The character growth is incredible
Guys. Come now. Hutts are a species.
Good thing you guys watched this before the series since this was the actual start of the Clone Wars, It has a massive character routes with every Jedis and also mostly the Clones! As soon as you guys reach Season 3, Things are gonna get darker!
"Get ready to turn thoes clankers into scrap metal!" - Captain Rex.
Love this movie. Christopher Lee reprises his role as Count Dooku. First meeting of Ahsoka Tano which she is very cute.
Samuel Jackson reprized his role as well.
Ahsoka sucks
@@lukescrew1981 shush incel.
The hierarchy of the jedi is as follows: jedi younglings who live and train at the temple, jedi padawans who receive further training from a jedi knight or jedi master (like an apprenticeship), a jedi knight is a graduated padawan, and a jedi knight can become a jedi master by training a padawan or through a great act of nobility/heroism etc.
Jabba is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson ❤❤❤
I didn’t know that Ezra was in this ;)
@@b3yourself91It's ok bro😊😊
Ahsoka is one of Star Wars most popular and greatest characters
Now she is. But when she was initially introduced in this movie and the early seasons, people hated her. She’s yet to grow on fans at the time.
Seeing young Ahsoka is so nostalgic.
Can't wait to relive her journey growing up.
She'll forever be my fave.
I love how this series also shows just how much skill Anakin had
fun fact! throughout this show, you will never see Grevious and Anakin fight. Because Hayden's line in Revenge of the Sith "Grevious, you're shorter than I expected." implied they had never met and Dave Filoni stayed true to that!
The B1's were made particularly silly for Clone Wars, with the background explanation being that the Trade Federation cheaped out on their processesers (droid brains) when they switched from centralized command to individual thinking droids.
a Padawan and a Padawan learner are just two names for the same thing. "Padawan Leaner" is more formal, i believe, hence why she used it during her formal introduction.
They become a Padawan when a Jedi Master or Jedi Knight takes them as a pupil.
The way Anakin reacts to Ahsoka looks like a chronically single guy suddenly having to be a parent
19:01 For 1, they never translate Huttese. You either get the idea or a droid translates. 2, there are more Hutts than just Jaba. And they’re all the weird slug guys. They’re basically the space mafia. Like The Godfather, with slime.
Take great deal of note that, Ashokas first experience as a YOUNG( anakin was a the exception with being old as one) padawan with anakain and obi wan was literally a war battle. Rather than the covert specifc missions anakin had this was just straight up war.
11:55 When he said "Roxas" when he clearly meant "Ventus" a little part of my heart died.
Its fun watching people still fresh to the Star Wars lore trying to figure out things. I have extensive knowledge of the Star Wars universe so I giggle every time they stumble with stuff like "what a padawan learner is?" and "Thinking Jabba invented his own language.". There isn't a single thing wrong with this because we all start somewhere but its truly entertaining. Although, you also find yourself wanting to crawl through the screen to answer their questions. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Most modern lightsabers have a blade length adjustment via a knob or switch control. Caleb Dume (aka Kanan Jarris) has a dial on his lightsaber that allows for blade length adjustment in the show Star Wars Rebels
It's funny to think about you not knowing that Ashoka is Anakin's padawan and just thinking she's a random Jedi lol
Me seeing Ahsoka in 2008: Burn this annoying thing with fire
Me seeing Ahsoka in 2024: I will burn in fire to protect this amazing thing
Dude I was introduced to star wars with this movie, that opening battle of christophsis gives me chills every time I see it, from the music to just how brutal it is. DISNEY BRING THIS BACK, COWARDS
Oh! I thought we'd be getting this Sunday! Awesome! 💜
Hut lore!: they were once lone hunters in the old old Republic. Imagine that, something that big being a hunter. In all fairness, they weren't as fat as Jaba when doing that. They actually are full of muscle and can be crazily agile. They also exterminated a bunch of sentient alien species in their sector and enslaved the useful ones who decided to submit. One last bit of lore, a hut isn't seen as an adult until they reach 200 years of age.
Part of the TOR games actually explain that most Hutts can speak basic(translated language) but they mostly speak Huttese either as a pride thing or just to troll other species
Ashoka is GOATED. One of the few character ever to go from hated by everyone to loved by everyone
There’s not many reactors I’d actually watch react to early Clone Wars but y’all are the exception. Peak Clone Wars is gonna be amazing for y’all
Ah Jedi committing War Crimes, forgot about that to be honest…
Anakin was by this time already Jedi knight not a Padawan so he was more than capable for his own Padawan.
I always thought ahsoka was kinda of annoying at first, but over time she became my favorite Jedi of all time.
It’s crazy to think this was the one bit where they actually had Sam Jackson play Mace Windu and Christopher Lee as Dooku
I feel like Ruff would be the no fucks given force user. Uses blasters, turns off and on lightsaber mid fight, throws punches/grabs, drop kicks, force choke and lightning etc.
After you guys finish the series you just have to watch the "every war crime in the clone wars" compilations
33:00 They can infact control the length of their sabers, not through the force, but with settings on their lightsaber. I'm pretty sure they can also set them to training mode if I'm not mistaken.
You start as a youngling and if you are good enough you become a Padawan and get assigned to a master then you get knighted after passing a couple of tests, and if you're good enough you become a master. Grandmaster is the highest title.
That was fast, I was about to go to sleep then saw this pop up.
If they think there's tension between Kenobi and Ventress, I cannot wait to see their reaction to Kenobi's interactions with a certain dutchess.
I remember my dad getting a ‘preview DVD’ from his work (Walmart higher up) and it had one of the fights in this. That hyped my ass up and made me watch the prequels in anticipation. I’d only seen the originals at that point because my parents assumed the prequels were bad.
If you guys want a Star Wars the Clone Wars game if I recall there is a Wii/Xbox connect game, thought I cannot promise a quality experience from it all I remember is enjoying it growing up alongside watching the show
The youngest and lowest possible rank of the Jedi order is initiate. You would be the initiate the time you were excepted in the temple until you are assigned a master. Initiate the training is everything. It’s your general schooling, with very little force training. Once initiates have completed their trials, they will be put up for apprenticeship. Then they will earn the rank of Padawan. The apprenticeship will last most of the Jedi’s life. When you’re the master satisfied with a Padawan’s ability, he would put it to the council to initiate the trials into knighthood. As a Jedi knight, you would be allowed to go on solo missions, deal with problems across the galaxy, and you have the ability to get an apprentice of your own. Knights results through their lifetime of service, temperance combat ability and mastery of the force can be granted the rank of Jedi Master. The single, highest rank in the Jedi order is the grandmaster, which to my knowledge there can only be one grandmaster at a time. But among the Jedi masters, there are specific skills or specialties that stand out. Such as Jedi battle master, somewhat exceptional skill with a light saber, and can teach all seven forms to others.
"I want this as a game" bruh growing up with the clone wars and lots of Shonen anime/games at the same time really recalibrates your idea of fictional combat lol this is such a mood
I think this was Christopher's Lee last time playing Dooku
I know a lot of people disliked this movie when it came out, but this was my first theatrical Star Wars experience with my dad when I was only 6/7. So while it might hold problems, I only remember the memories and good parts of this film 😂
This movie was apparently 3-4 episodes strung together
Hutt is a race. Jabba is called The Hutt like you would call Worf "The Klingon". It's weird but maybe it has to do with his mafia culture
I remember seeing this in theaters back in 2008, this was supposed to be the opening 4 episodes of the show but Lucas wanted to have a movie so they just removed the opening crawls for 2,3, and 4
If you guys like Ahsoka reverse hand grip on her lightsaber, then you will love starKillers
And yes Jedi can control the length of their lightsabers but it's done on the lightsaber not using the force
"I would have kicked him in the leg" said as if the droids legs arent also solid metal..... sorta stupid indeed
Everyone in the Comments: CLONE WARS!! CLONE WARS!!
Ahsoka is arguably the main character of this series, so you’re gonna be happy
No difference, it's the same thing, Padawan and Padawan learner.
padawan learner is just another way of saying padawan
Ahsoka actually grounds Anakin in a way that Obi-Wan doesn't. I think it's because ahsoka actually gives him someone to care about and look over Pearl being is his responsibility and it gives him that sense of responsibility because the way I look at it Yoda spell Anakin not as a Jedi Knight but as someone responsible enough to take on a Padawan to pass on his knowledge and training and in that way it kind of helped him center himself as a Jedi
This was actually the first Star Wars movie I saw in theaters.
I’m pretty sure Obi-Wan committed a war crime by faking his surrender lmao
I remember I saw this in theatres when I was like 7-8. I begged my mom to let me go, and by the time I left the theatre, my little 8 year old self was so giddy with excitement, I NEVER expected the clone wars to get as big, have as much lore as it has, and probably be one of, if not the best, animated cartoon stories of all time (debatably, trying not to be biased)
This show will make you feel every emotion, whilst growing each character, mission, and the lore.
The clone wars started with this, and by the time the final season comes around, you’ll see the difference, the emotion, the dark themes. They say this is a kids show, but it’s not.
Also, this show TEACHES. It’s hard to explain, but rewatching the clone wars recently, I just realized how much the opening quote means to the story. That quote goes with the theme of the story, and, as weird as it may sound, you can incorporate MOST of those quotes into your own life.
The clone wars will always be special. It will always hold a huge part in my heart - I hope y’all feel the same way after you finish this series. Good luck, and may the force be with you throughout this endeavor!😊
I remember seeing this with my dad in theaters! I miss those days
Droids are so god damn funny in the clone wars I can’t wait for you to see them more haha
as soon as I saw the title i was like Already?
You guys loving this movie is a really good sign, because some people think it's really bad for some reason lol.
Lightsabers do actually have a switch that changes their length.
They can change the length of the lightsaber with a switch on the handle. It can grow or shrink w. A touch of a button or a flip of a lever.
I’m pretty sure I saw this in theatre back in 08. Good times
Welcome to the clone wars series my brothers 🔥 you guys are in for one wild ride of a series....
There's a dial on the lightsaber to change how long the blade is.
As a huge clone lover, miffed you guys didn't show the clones more love....
Has anyone told these guys that before they even watching the AHSOKA show they will need to not only finished STAR WARS CLONE WARS but also kinda watch STAR WARS REBELS in order to understand the AHSOKA SHOW
So for lightsaber length I believe there is a dial to focus the length of the blade for the wielder but there should be a maximum limit for it.
HELL YEAH
Battlefront 2 takes place during the clonewars
You can even unlock these versions of the characters as skins
Hutt is the race that Jabba is
Yeah you're gonna learn real quick that Rex is that dude
God I remember going to this in theaters then the Halloween costumes that year were so many closes rexes it was amazing
you guys the new show that sucks is the acolyte, and anakin has no connection to it. ahsoka has her own show, and its pretty good, definitely has some great moments.
Wow another Clone Wars vid just a day later? What a treat!
if i remember correctly Darth Vader's lightsaber has an adjustable blade
The rankings are padawan, Jedi knight, Jedi master.
The cell had a window that let air pass through it which is how the smell probably got out.
lol
It’s to the right of the screen b4 they enter the cell n while they r in there talking u can c the window w. Bars on it
Battlefront I and II (especially II from 2005) are the original SW games. You gotta play them.
As far as the Hutts, Jabba is only one member of it. There is a massive cartel controlled by the Hutts.
When it comes to Anakin, one of his greatest fatal flaws that he's always had is letting go. Letting go of his mother, of Padme. Chronologically, we must be sure Yoda knows Anakin went back to Tatooine so he knows attachment is something Anakin has to master. So "letting go" of a Padawan involves realizing that eventually, his training of her will end and he has to either be able to let her go and let her go on her own way and become her own person... But it could also mean letting go of her. Like she could die in battle.
I hope you guys can start paying more attention to the clones going forward. There are a lot of fans of the clones, and for me, personally, since I watched Attack of the Clones, the clones have always been one of my favorite things about Star Wars. I was obsessed with the Republic commando books, which was the first to humanize them... and then when this show came out, I went on to memorize the names of every clone in this show, their armor, their unit and legion. On and on.
In this show, it pains me each time one of them dies. They're badasses.
Stinky was my favorite part about this whole movie
never thought about it lol but she is wearing a skirt when she jumps on the tank going up the mountain side lol standing over the glass where driver is lmao
