    Hey can you show videos on how to change parts like oil, oil oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, axillary battery, and also say under cover parts that one would expect on the vehicle when taking the covers off. I would love to see a vide on the bottom of the car and all the different components. Many people are just afraid to ask but I am confident with such video's presented you will a true creator on here. I'm happy to suggest other things, i.e. top up or flush coolant (how which colour should we use) The W212 and S212 is so highly viewed here in Sydney so many people I talk to you say they just look at TH-cam (this is one site I really want to grow here). Happy to make more suggests on Mercedes. S212 AMG Wagon (factory body kit and sports suspension is the one I drive but I know many other people with estates here.

    Incline angle is important to measure and enter in calibration!
    I dont know about w212 but in w213 estate on calibration of rear axle its important. If you set level to 15mm and set incline angle to -0.5, 0, 0,5 or 1 then the car will be in different height after end of calibration. If you repeat the calibration so there will be another height values different from 15mm.
    fx +15mm and incline angle +1 give -6mm after calibration!!

      It is very fast becoming the scanner that I grab first. The Snap on doesn’t have a search function in live data, which with the amount of pids nowadays it just takes too long to customise.
      So at this point Chris I do highly recommend it & I only have it around 3 months.
      But as you know they all have there strengths & weaknesses on differing models 😉👍👍

  • @joaovitalvital7840
    @joaovitalvital7840 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Does’t go down again ?
    Mine as the same issue , no leaks at all , but the mechanic saw that the suspension was descalibrated , i think that was the problem cause start to lower one side , and than the other to equilibrate …

    • @kennedysgarage3281
      @kennedysgarage3281  ปีที่แล้ว

    Does it show an disturbance before at airmatic? I had an W166 / ML 350. All four tires are lower as normal and suspension is harder as usual. Why does this appear by itself? Must there be an mailfunction or would calabration do it? Thanks!

    • @kennedysgarage3281

    I have a question
    I have a mercedes w213 and the rear end of my car goes down the same as in the video, only lower
    when I start the car it immediately goes up and is at normal height.
    When I turn car off, it goes down sometimes after half an hour sometimes after 24 hours.
    The car does not have any faults on the screen.
    The first time it happened was when the mechanic lifted the car with the ignition on and the car showed an error, "the car is too high, drive max 35 km/h" then he tried to correct the same in the diagnostics, but the error did not disappear
    then he removed the fuse from car and the error disappeared but now my car keeps going down
    can you please tell me what to do

      Unfortunately I cannot tell you what to do to fix it, but did you try doing the relearn as I did ??
      Also do a good visual inspection in the suspension position sensors. The break quite often 🤔🤔

    Have had similar issues with mine the past year. Fully deflated when I come out in the morning. However main issue is driving up hill it decides to lower fully. Once im driving downhill or level it realises and pumps back to normal height. Level sensors rather than the bags themselves perhaps?

    • @kennedysgarage3281
      @kennedysgarage3281  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can look at the level sensor readings in live data first & then try this reset first. It would be far cheaper than an airbag to start with Cormac 🤞🤞

    W212, 310.000 km on the clock. Can drop down 2 days in row all way down, or hold for 1 week without problem. Always parked in a warm garage. Sensors or airbags ? What can it be 🤔

    2017 60k miles
    2018 68k miles
    2020 120k Kilometres
    2021 135k Kilometres

      The most common issue is ‘suspension level sensors’ seizing or breaking. A visual check of where the sensors are connected to each suspension could find the answer to you problem 🤞🤞🤞

      @@kennedysgarage3281the level sensors are definitely working. I have checked physically and scanner is showing they are operating.

    Hello! I have a small problem with my s212. so yesterday I noticed when I was going to replace the brakes in the front I raised the car in the usual order with a jack so that the rear wheel was also raised a little! I then noticed that it was a little higher than usual on one side. to note, the car is lowered in the back with a computer! so I took my OBD scanner and I got into the calibration adjusted a few times and at the end I got a message that the level calibration is not completed and I can't access the values anymore I get that the level values must be the same. it also gives error code 556E00 cannot delete the error code! what do I need to do to be able to access the calibration again? grateful for answers!

    • @kennedysgarage3281
      @kennedysgarage3281  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      First it might be worth visually looking at the rear suspension position sensors & connecting arms, the raising and lowering could have snapped/broken something when moved a larger amount 🤔🤔
      As for the calibration, try a different scanner. Or drive the car if possible a larger distance to reset things & allow your scanner in.
      If these fail disconnect the batteries overnight 🤔🤔

    Having problems on an S212 350cdi, won’t let me calibrate. Car has sagged all the way down, cannot lift manually without being in the calibration process. When i try to enter it says "Cannot perform operation: level height sensor values are out of range", so i checked and they’re both the same value, +7mm. Even tried to jack up the rear to get higher values, would not help at all.
