- Hi Heroes! We all love the Nintendo 3DS consoles, because they have a special Charme and character like nothing else. A unique ingredient to this formular is when you look at the Limited and Special Editions from that time, because they were often produced in only small numbers.
But they are not all the same in regards of popularity. The Super Mario Smash Bros. in this video is flying under the radar if you ask me.

I hate how most portable console gets the most dust, it makes it sad.

3DS era is where limited editions were the most popular, heck they stretched it out til the 2DS XL during the Switch era. My first handheld was a Pikachu Gameboy Color that was bought for me and my Gameboy Advance/SP and DS were all regular edition. Nintendo tried doing this limited edition method to Switch's but imo they're not as popular. I'm personally using a regular 2017 Switch
Yeah, you have a point. LE are kind of a thing from the past. Hope it doesn’t die like a lot of cool things in this industry in the past.
If they actually made some good limited edition switches that weren't just effectively stickers on the dock and slightly uniquely colored joycons, I might have invested in some of them. They've barely done any that affect the Switch itself and that's sad. They could at least do more with the Switch Lites. I think losing the clamshell hurt the LE market for Switch

- Microfiber cloth for drying
- Fanttik E1 Max Mini precision electric screw driver

Yeah, slightly. But I‘ve never seen a blue one. The rarer, the better. You better keep it. 😉
These had the unfortunate timing of being produced a lot and coming out before the N3DSXL in the US by a few months, though I believe we already knew about the N3DS either right before launch or just after, so these never built much momentum. Just bad timing for this edition, I think. Would've been super popular if it was a New model, like the Majora's Mask version
Hello, I remember it like a yesterday when I've got a Red Super Smash Bros for 3DS Special Edition Nintendo 3DS easily over a freaking 10 years ago in christmas, it's my second 3DS after when my white 3DS went broken, but there came black spots to my 3DS XL's Screens, why and how I can fix it? Because of that, I needed to buy a whole new 3DS AGAIN in 2016 or 2017, now I have black and blue colored Nintendo 2DS XL what is a 3DS for me, because it's almost the Same Thing than a 3DS. If that'll going broke, I won't buy any new 3DS anymore, because I'll wait for the Nintendo Switch 2 what I want to believe is New Nintendo Switch XL with the Dual Screens and pencil like on 3DS, that's what I hope to see from the Upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. I subscribed your channel, every Nintendo Console fans/nerds are my friends! 😆❤🔥
Thanks Leo, unfortunately repairing and therefore switching the Display is the most difficult and annoying thing with the 3DS. Check out my video „Nintendo…WHY?“ from two weeks back. You‘ll see what I mean. 😂

Hey, if you dont mind me asking, how easy is it to replace the A, B, X, & Y buttons on the n3DSXL?
I'm planning to buy a pearl white one but thinking about replacing the buttons to black ones since i like the contrast. I also dont want to mess up any ribbon cables since i dont have much experience with tech
It is super easy. Follow the steps until the motherboard is unscrewed, so you can lift it. But you need to unplug a few ribboncables, recommended is a flat plastic spudger like you see in my other videos. Maybe watch my last video from a week ago (Nintendo…WHY?) and follow along the disassembly until the motherboard is loose. 👍
@@HandHero0711 how do I make sure that the ribbon cables are attached properly?
@@crustytomatosoup737 The cables are attached to plugs which have small clips you need to lift prior to release them. Later, after replacing the buttons, you plug it in again and press the clip down carefully until it clicks.
Very gently pull on the cable to make sure it sits in tight.
