Subbed! May I ask, did you do anything else to the rest of the system in terms of upgrading speakers or doing a crossover for the speakers? Going to do as you showed but don't know if just throwing in a sub will be good
PizzaxChicken I’ve only had the same set up i showed in the video. No speakers. Just the sub and amp. Remember to connect the remote wire to the cigarette or radio fuse under the driver footwell.
I was gonna change mine because I wired mine to the same speakers you wired them but when I met up with a friend of mine that had the same sub box same amp and gains set the same his sounded louder and he told me he wired the AV converter to the door speakers
I thought the Av converter is supposed to be wired to the door speaker wires that are on the pioneer oem amp ? I’m not saying your wrong all these wiring for this car is confusing lol I only thought they should be wired to the door speakers due to the doors being the actual oem subwoofers on the frs nice vid though
Panda86 yea since the door speakers are already subs i wired it to the rear so you can hear and feel different sound waves in the car. The subs move to the beat of the rear speakers while the fronts are also engaging. Therefore u should feel them both. You also have to adjust the amp settings to get it to sound just right

A/V converter? Where is the video input on an audio amplifier?
How did you do the remote wire to the fuse?

How many feet of power wire did you end up using?
Should’ve just gotten an aftermarket head unit and you won’t need an “A/V converter” which is actually a LOC (Line-Output Converter)

You should show the radio fuse to REM wire part
K3S3AN You can use any fuse that gets power when the car is on. Like radio or cig.

this gives you a trash signal to the sub, avoid doing this since you'll feed stereo signal to your sub.
