I bought a 8a just for shizz and giggles. For me, the bezels and rounded corners remind me of a simpler time in tech, and I actually enjoy using it. Feels like a re-imagined Pixel 5
honestly it has that old school pixel charm that i miss so much
Only thing missing is the two tone design!
The Pixel 5/4a era was something else.
Bought a 6a 2 weeks ago second hand ,but looking like a new one with android 12.I think the phone is really new .Only 140$ with no box ,no accesories. i think its a great deal .
It is.
@@Tricroman i updated to android 14 and everything it's ok
@@stefanalexandru1941 With A14 it runs smoother and faster.
@@Tricroman the battery has 60 cycles and I think I made more than 50 since I bought the phone ,so yeah its new 😍😍
6a looks alot better design wise
I do miss the dual-tone finish.
How about pixel 7? Also normal charging speed of pixel phones
6a is always best in design
Yup and it has better bezels
They have never looked as good as the 6 series. I have an 8a, and yeah it works better in some regards, but the 6 series was just so sexy and unique. And better colorways.
I found it earlier to take more artistic shots on the 6a, but I'm also new to the 8a.
The 9 series should be called the GIphone.
Thanks for this video. I just needed a snappier unlock method than my 6a. Anything additional is a bonus for me, so definitely moving to 8a when there is a better deal in my country. And loved the Megadeth cameo xD
Thanks a lot for watching! And yes, they are one of the best bands out there.
2:10:"I like to think that you can feel a big difference" 😀. Although there probably are some minor differences, I don't think you will notice in day to day use. And yes I've used both.😁 Nice video though, thanks!
How the hell do these phones look worse and worse? those displays on the 8a have thicker display edges than my nokia 3310
hm ,tbh i dont agree about the 6a .. i have it and its smooth it doesnt stutter ,the only thing i dont like about it is the heating, spec annoying when its summer .. and the looks of it actually looks like a luxury phone compared to the looks of the 8a ,altho i love the rounded sides of the 8a ,looks way more eye candy ,reminds me of the iphones , anyway 8a could be my next phone, or maybe the se4..
My problems with the 6a are one, the screen brightness - it’s unreadable in direct sunlight, and two, no face unlock. Oh and the fingerprint reader doesn’t work with wet fingers, either. Does the 8a fix all that?
The 8a screen is more than twice the brightness of the 6a. The fingerprint sensor is also more accurate. As for face unlock, the 8a has class 3 face unlock, meaning it can be used for banking apps and transactions.
For people who have owned the 6a since release the 7 year software updates on the 8a would be very tempting.
I only got my 6a (on sale) last September and I plan to keep it for a few more years. Also, I don't like the design language of the 8a.
I'm personally hoping that Google will release a flip phone 😊
A Google flip-style device would be most interesting.
I splashed a little red wine on my 6A and my ringer tone and speaker is barely audible 😢. Against the ear is okay, but not on speaker. However, my tick tocks I can hear totally fine. Must be a different speaker. Need to find another phone. It's just a huge price gouge from a 6A to a 8 a.
Just put the phone on a stand, speakers facing down and play songs on full volume for hours. It will push clear the liquids inside the speakers.
