About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

Terry J. Vaughn....I never knew she was in Married With Children. She's a knockout here!
One of her first TV appearances
Straight up bro
That's "Lovita Alizé Jenkins" to you!😂
Craig told china don't be coming over here with that attitude.
😂😂😂@@edwardmcdowell4581
Terri J.Vaughn in the Blue minidress. One word: DAYUM!!!!
Mmmm tasty.
Lovita Alizay Jenkins
I forgot all about her
@@Dr.RoseQuartz I was looking for that comment
Made me click. Needed to confirm if it was her from the thumbnail. *Glad she stays working!*
Terri J. Vaughn's first TV appearance. "It better be shoes!" Lol.
Al was the man. Griff was the man. The chemistry between these two was excellent.
uh, Al was miserable. If that is your measuring stick for manhood, you might want to raise your standards.
@@seanmac5093 yea, his main goal was to be a sports star, instead he got hooked up with peg and thats where he stayed. this also raises the question if he was all that great? or he is great only in his head.
This comedy 🎭 was the best.
@@seanmac5093 Al was the man.
"Daddy beat'em up"
"Of course Pumpkin"
Yeah, Al was miserable, but he was always there to stand up for his family.
@@seanmac5093 What reclusive egghead is taking this comment that deeply...ffs it’s Married with Children, not Shakespeare.
Al and Griff had great comedic chemistry with each other.
Dynamic Duo indeed!
Al and Griff were like Larry and Harty. I was glad when Griff came on the show.
Man hell yeah 😂😂😂😂
He was obviously on Al's old Polk High football team.... like most shoe-salesmen.
Have you ever heard of a script??
Griff was such an underrated recurring character. Great scenes …” I need something supple and Long lasting” Griff: “ That would be me” LOL…
I love how Griff was always so supportive of Al's bs 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
A true friend 🤣🤣
$30 for the shoes, 130 for labor 😂😂😂
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Classic huh.... Lol
Nowadays that would be in reverse
That was alot of work they put in and they did risk injury.
Sounded like a mechanic instead of a shoe salesman
"Married... with Children” could air on primetime TV in 2021 and still get higher ratings than half of today's shows.
The new shows are kind of corny
Now that was great laugh your ass off comedy.😂😂😂😂
Half?
CORRECTION - it would rate it higher than anything that’s on.
Than all of today's shows
Al and Griff were always my favorite, the magazine exchange was classic…. “brothers from another mother”😂😂
Exactly my brother 🤗
Yep!
That's right
Those two were my favorite after Steve left.
Big uns and black big uns 😂
Still one of the best damn shows in America.
Yes indeedy
probably in the top 3 Greatest sitcoms of all time.
Exactly. Episodes now streaming on PlutoTV on Demand. 😀👍
Ever
The greatest show ever... period
Terri J.Vaughn! 😃😃 she was always so pretty 😍
With a horrible attitude
@@jacobroberts3381 Yup,almost as bad as yours
@@beemocha yeah, I forgot that YOU "met me before" to make such an assessment. But unlike YOU, I actually MET THAT WOMAN & I can tell you from experience that her attitude really is horrible. You can pick up your face now with all that heavy makeup off the floor. Don't bother replying you're already muted.
the church girl from" don't be a menace".
China from Friday too.
That exchange of magazines at the end is a beautiful message..
They really should have introduced Griff's character sooner...I mean...they kinda tried with Dexter and even Aaron...but Griff was fucking gold.
Griff, bob roney and darcy..and the nomaam gang.
I always thought if they'd introduced Griff a season or so earlier, we might've gotten 12 seasons.
Yes that's the problem with networks when they had a winner , they let other people say shit , that would Ruin it for the people , Idiot,s wimps ?
They acted more like brothers than co-workers.
@@OmegaWolf747 Ed and Amanda were not getting along very well by the time they reached season 11...which is a shame, because they had a great back and forth on the show...probably came off so well because they actually hated each other.
She’s dancing at Club Gooey 😂😂😂😂😂 As a kid I never understand the references till now
😂
Griff didn't save the show, but he sure made the last few seasons hilarious. Great chemistry and acting chops. I wish he was an original character
Griff and Jefferson too.
Jefferson was likeable, even more than Steve,; but none of them was funnier than Griff!!
@@uanbee Griff was hilarious!
Bob Rooney
I wish Griff had been in it from the beginning. He and Al had a real rapport together, and it was nice that Al had even just one good thing (his friendship with Griff, especially since they had so much in common) in his so hated job.
I like that he answers the phone 'hi Peg'
knowing that would be the thing interrupting his unwavering commitment to customer service
🤣😂
"[Al's] unwavering commitment to customer service" - I love that line!!!! Back in the day, you might have gotten a job writing for MWC. You know, before PC and virtue signalling killed off most good comedy.
"May I show you something" killed me
It better be shoes 😁😂😂
Ikr 😂😂😂😂😂
That’s not a woman, that’s a stripper I have a chance with.
Griff and Al are hilarious together !
i wanna applaud what good sports those women were who guest starred 👏👏👏
I agree. This one was especially funny.
Apparently thrywere the ones who wrote the jokes
Mr O'Neal was a master of using his face and body to communicate, I can't help but love this scene. BTW that was Lavida from the Steve Harvey show that played the stripper Griff had a shot with lol.
"A woman of the opposite sex" :-D
For obvious reasons, that's even funnier today than it was 20 years ago :-D
more like 30 years
Man!!!
😁😂😁😂😁😂😁😂
😂😂😂😂 Al was a head of his time
It's also from Allo allo.
"Lets rock" whenever Al says that, you know you are definitely in trouble. Lol
Them switching magazines at the end is hilarious
how is she not busting a gut laughing after walking in and seeing THAT! LOL
Griff was a great addition to the show.
It was funny from the start, but those Griff and Jefferson years were purified gold.😂
@@jonathanhawk5163 my lord yesss 🤣😂
They always had great actresses for the shoe store customers.
That goes for the thin and large ones.
@@brandonallen3289 I remember one he called a hag, who really wasn't
either insanely fat and ugly or complete smoke shows
@Mr. DavenportEd never treated woman as bad as yall keep saying..yall trippin
I bet any amount of money that those actresses and Ed got along great and had some laughs.
This is one of my top 5 shows, EVER. Al Bundy is a legend. Ed O'Neill, I LOVE YOU.
Just think he was in an episode of the original Miami vice with don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas
And he scored 3 touchdowns in one game🤩
4 touchdowns@@davidwhite8158
It's funny how you can go back and watch and you're like I didn't know she made an appearance on there. Terri J Vaughan aka Lovita Alizay Jenkins
I know right! It's like gonna be Lavita wherever she goes 😅
Yeah, I just remember her from family matters when Eddie throws that frat party in his apartment and that noise that she makes is so funny!! 😂😂😂
When Al says lets rock thats means its on😎😎
Lol😆 🤣 l
I love how they gave every disgusting trope to Bundy , except Racism. A True American!
“Except racism, a true American” lol man this hits hard lmao .. he reminds me of Hal from Malcolm in the middle kinda too thank you for this comment lol
@@alextonchance9868 So, Al is the likeable and less racist version of Archie Bunker.
@@kenterminateddq5311 Archie was a whole other story!
@@kenterminateddq5311 Archie Bunker WAS likable, ya Meathead.
I think you ougta to binge watch MWC. It's 11 seasons, 259 episodes. They didn't avoid the topic of race nor have Al or his family not acknowledge it/make jokes. When you're older you catch things you missed earlier
'Black Big un's' - brilliant !
Now days they would either protest or start a riot over that. And yet scientist can prove that every race has the same DNA as God ,for he created all things.
I always like the shows with Al and Griff
Hill Harper worked in that sho store briefly. Too .lol
Harold Sylvester played Dwayne Wayne's dad in a Different World
A legendary show that was spearheaded the 80s into the 90s and defined a new era. Of course this show was ahead of its time.
No it wasn’t ahead of it’s time. With the way “political correctness” is shoved down everybody’s throats these days, this show was exactly the right time it could’ve been.
The two men who created the show were interracial buddies; one white another black. I feel like anytime Al and his coworker/friend/former nemesis get together it’s really the producers living vicariously through them. Love this show.
Oh wow, never knew
Man watched this all throughout my teens. Hands down the best sitcom ever
I still remember the "I NEED SHOES" lady. The audience would applaud her after so many appearances.
Epic. They could never air this episode on prime time these days.
This 5 min clip would have offended many cancel culture liberals.
Yes they could.
To meany people there Days are offended easy
Those were the good old days.
Truth. It is to 2021 what All in The Family was to the 90’s
I love that they trade magazines. Such a small but clever touch.
Big uns and black big uns 😂
Married with Children is the comedy we all need today. Amazing.
Some of the BEST writing for a series EVER!
Eleven seasons with basically the same kind of jokes, and the same targets, over and over, yet it never got stale or stopped being hilarious. The writing was really good.
My all time favorite show. Even when you've watched it a thousand times you can still Crack up
-Of course... Hi Peg. 😂
Hi AL do you miss me? With every bullet peg
The Legendary Terri J Vaughn!
Her big break yes lord
YESSIR!!
Levita Alaza Jenkins!!!
Lavita aliza jenkins is fine af
@Calvin Grier bye hater! Just mad because she'd never give you any play lol.
This show never gets old
Al and Griff were just good friends who understood one another. The way it should be.
lmao Griff was the best
I just ordered my Al Bundy Polk High shirt!
Bought mine 5 years ago. Plus a NO MA'AM t-shirt as well.
@@angelh1743 That No MA'AM idea was gold back then! I wasn't married but it taught me a lot!
@@QuantumEffectResidue : I want one so bad. Reminds me of the episode of Rev. Al at a No Ma'am meeting when Marcy crashed it, then proceeded to destroy Al, who eventually had to admit: 'I Have Sinned.' Best not trying to drink or eat anything then.

I'm dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Peg: now my train arrives at 8 and I
Al: click.

My other favorite episodes were the ones that involved "The Jigglie Room". The best one was the one with the stripper Rockie Mountains and her famous line "Who's man enough to climb the Rockies?" She was awesome.
I can't take it anymore! It's party time!
Man, this show is classic! Al and Griff were hilarious together!
My childhood. Absolutely love this show. It’s on Hulu.
The comedy... Flawless...simply flawless.
I've never heard of a shoe described as "something supple and long lasting" but 👀🔥.
That magazine swap was CLASSIC! 🤣

It's awesome how they turned Godzilla into a verb
Did the fat woman want a size five or size three?
😁😂😂

The greatest family ever. We need Al Bundy more than we ever have before. Imagine the blue haired land whales from Twitter even seeing this show?
Their brains would explode.
The 80's and some of the 90's guys and gals were the best time to be alive in the entire 20th Century. Even though I wasn't around the 1950's probably as a whole would get a lot of votes also.

One of the greatest sitcoms ever !! And it's not even close !! I think this was one show, that I've seen every single episode !!
Those TWO GENIUSES ❤️❤️
What I love about this show is that it mocked everybody! Men, women, it didn't matter. If you think it didn't mock men, then you missed the point of this episode and you should check out the No Ma'am club when the guys engage their enormous man brains.
Nobody care about men today, an average person see a show where it was everybody mocked and they only see the women mocked. Al Bundy is not a mysoginist, he is a misanthrope, he hate everybody.
