About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

When Marcy said that Steve is suing her for alimony, Al's reaction was PERFECT!
😂🤣😂
Whether Marcy deserves it or not, it's surprisingly touching that Al and Peggy took care of her instead of kicking her to the curb like they do everyone else.
Thanks for all the laughter. Love married with children. Everyone is so funny.
Too bad not everyone has the right sense of humor
Can you imagine how that show would go over today too many soft people in the world
Al never loved Peggy
Marcy was cracking when she caught the end of Al's gestures there at the end😀
The way Peg walks. 😆😂
It’s the shoes.
The actress said in a documentary that it was the stilettos or minolos that were so tall she had a natural wiggle when she was trying to walk in them. 😂
I love it
Talk about poetic justice all right. All those years of of Marcy emasculating Steve, she finally got what she deserved. 😂
She also dropped him with a mean cross a couple of episodes earlier. She KO'd Jefferson at least 4 times on screen too.
I would have loved to have been at the receving end of Marcy's tender mercy.
Marcy has to pay Steve alimony. Love it.
Justice at last.
Maybe that was payback when probably Marcy trapped Steve at some point in time forcing him to marrying her, if not for Al, Steve would have been a weakling to her domineering ways.
Al laughing at Marcy made it better.
She did leave him to rot when he was arrested for kidnapping Bosco and putting him in salt water. I do wonder how he managed to get out on bail. Al certainly wouldn't have been able to put up the money if he wanted to, not on his shoe man's salary.
Show was way ahead of it's time in many ways.
Marcy and Al hate each other IRL too. Makes these scenes even better.
i know, and more incredibly marcy directed most of the episodes
That is because of why the series was loved and still is. It both called out and predicted how unhinged feminism would become, as well as the "woke" garbage we put up with today. Bearse herself has finally gotten that if Ed O'Neil really wanted to, she would have been gone. Marcy was a prediction of every failed SJW that is in a video on TH-cam right now: a "success" only in her own mind, and in reality alone even "in a relationship".
They sure do!!! And I agree
Al, was a male chauvinist. IRL
@@laurasaw6933 ikr he was great
I thought you were man's best friend. Oh, that's a dog, not a chicken. Sorry Marcy.
Over 30 years later they still can get a yuk yuk
Peel 'er off me, will ya? Great line!
Steve took enough crap from her. Hitting and then wrecking his Mercedes was probably the last straw.
Don't forget once Steve lost Marcy's barbie doll and got beaten up badly trying to get it back and when he did she only cared about the doll.
@@vermiciosknid9629 Marcy knocked Steve out cold when he skipped out on looking for work.
That was so funny what Al did with his tie! lol
Best thing Steve ever did
Franky Broadcast Sometimes it doesn’t take 20/20 vision to see the writing on the wall. The beginning of the end for Steve was a loan he gave Al for the shoe hotline, all because of the trip to Hawaii. I love how that one moment started a domino effect.
He’s he was sick of waking up with feathers in his mouth
He came back in later episodes.
It was the best thing. One day he would have woke up with a lesbian next to him.
The only question was why did it take so long? It was funny how they came up with a park ranger job for a big escape from her. It was like he joined the Navy.
good for him honestly
I cheered for Steve when I first saw this and I was 5
Yup best thing that ever happened to him.
Can we have some thumbs up for the great writers of this magnificent Series.

1.09 - 1.11 laugh Al. FANTASTIC!!!
I love Marcy
Marcy Steve is suing me for alimony Al laughing hilarious
0:32 "The geek is leaving me" So a geek is a dork/nerd/uncool person but its other meaning is a circus performer that chases chickens and bites their heads off. I wonder if this was an intentional joke/double entendre (i think thats what they are called) by the writers or if it just happened by accident. Either way i think its funny considering Steve is a bit of a nerd but also Marcy with all the chicken jokes that Al makes about her. He even made did it in this scene with that dog/chicken joke at the start of the video haha.
“Peel her off me will ya”
Despite the way Peg and Al treat each other, to quote Peggy "But I'll never leave you Al, not in a million years" meaning despite their eternal turmoil, there's still something there between them......something that oddly, Steve and Marcy never had.
Al NEVER cheated on Peg, and neither did Peg cheat on Al. Despite everything they go through, they still love each other, and that's something the show has never hesitated to show us.
We're at times when a cynical depiction of a disfuncional family became a model of a traditional family.
Al never loved Peggy
@@robtru84 he did, there was a flash-back with his dad where he talks about his love for Peggy and his dad disapprove of the relationship.
Wow, I felt really bad for her when she came back in saying how helpless and afraid of being alone she was
I didn't.
@@herosdiaz8757 At the time this originally aired, I admit feeling a bit sorry for her. But many seasons later after she evolved into a I-will-devote-every-second-to-making-Al-miserable she-devil I had grown to despise her.
It would have served her right if Jefferson had skipped out on her too, and wiped out her bank account to boot.
@@BethHarmon-yh8ms we gonna have so many Single Peggy's and Miserable Marcy's I'm a few years XD
Peg looks even better than usual in this one!

Best Show EVER!!!
Peggy's description of men.... So funny 😂

Also at 1:06 with Al's reaction to Marcy saying that Steve's suing her for alimony.
Marcy: God I hate men.
Al: I thought you were Man's Best Friend.
ROTF LMBO🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
it would have been better steve take half the money come back 10 years later with good looking wife and a son.
Steve became dean of Trumaine University, so he was successful afterwards. But Jefferson was more funny character and more likeable too, so it was good that Steve left
Steve was a limo driver at one point.
yea but he had a great job, left becouse macy treated him like crap.
jerferson never loved her and was less likeable since he was a jerk and con arrest.
That's a dog not a chicken 🤣🤣🤣
One of the best episodes was when Marci wrecked Steve’s Mercedes.
Did not it happen when Bud and Kelly tried to drive with their eyes closed
@@ivanmaras6566 Nah, that was a different episode---they hit a rich guy's Mercedes after Steve had already left Marcy.

Its a all time record
For an independent woman who hates men I don't remember an episode where she was single and not trying to get a man.

What if there was a horror movie revival of this show titled, "Married... With Children: The Movie"?
I think there's room for a short-run reunion: Married... With Grandchildren.
Half dozen episodes catching up. Be great.
@@darthkek1953 I don't know it might trigger some people. Surprised the SJWs are not trying to cancel Ed O'Neil for play Al Bundy.
You know i really like al and peg they have this intersting vib that kind of like and dislike relationship that i just love
Show wasn't the same after Steve left.
Jefferson was cool as well though. But yeah it was kinda a different vibe with Steve.
It was still good but had a different vibe..Darcy went from the upper class snob to the upper class flaw
It was good even after Jefferson entered. But the quality declined when Griff and "No Maam" was introduced. That was sometimes funny, but usually not
It was better. Jefferson was a gem. Always laughed when Al made fun of his wife lol
@@Beaneabean no.

Al's laugh at 1.10......LOL
"Dear Marcy my sweet Patootie"
Steve's departure was the worst thing that could've happen to this show. It was never the same.
Jefferson was equally as funny.
Marcy.....the OG Karen
Oh my God. You're absolutely right. Never thought of that.
Holy Shit. You are correct!!🤯🤯😂
Bud Bundy even said so on his IG
Peg the original Karen
Altough Al is a hero, I can’t quit understand why he complaines, Peggy is a hottie🤓
Her personality was part of it, but he showed he loved her often though.
Every now and then I think my sister sounds like Peggy. Not the bitching and moaning part, just her voice and her laugh. Plus, she smokes like a chimney.
Sigh.....simps and there vagina worship.
Welcome to the joke, buddy ^^
IT'S HARD TO GET TURNED ON WHEN YOU ARE STARVING AND HAVE NO CLEAN CLOTHS WASHED FOR YOU, KNOWING SHE WAS H0ME ALL DAY WATCHING OPRAH AND EATING BON BONS.
Wanna see Marcy now🥶
Jefferson and Bud were gorgeous men.
I always liked Steve better than Jefferson.
Jefferson was hilarious though.
I did not. Steve was the better counterbalance to Al but I always thought the comedy was better with Jeferson
360whiplash I liked Steve because he was intelligent. Jefferson was as thick as a brick. Al could never be real friends with Steve because he despised Al and Al always knew it. Al could be friends with Jefferson because Al could always feel superior to him and Jefferson wasn’t bright enough to know that. I loved Steve’s biting sarcasm, but people like Jefferson are hard to respect. However I might have liked Jefferson more except the entire show changed around that time. During the earlier Steve period, for example, Peggy cooked and Kelly had street smarts. It was more believable. During the Jefferson era Peggy no longer cooked at all, and Kelly’s IQ plummeted. The characters became more 2 dimensional and storylines changed to a silly degree. In the Steve era it was more about a believably loser working class man and his pathetic family. It was during the Jefferson era that we got annoying stereotypes like No Ma’am and constant feminist messaging.
@Asian Mansplainer Steve was always the opposite of Al in having a good career and being happily married.
@Asian Mansplainer In the last couple of seasons, Al begging hanging out more with Griff.

Al should have been married to Marcy for this show!!
Marcy also had her money

This was the monumental moment in MWC. The beginning of the transitioning from Steve to Jefferson Darcy! As much as I liked Steve and he had amazing moments in certain episodes like I'll see you in court, 976 Shoe and Hot off the Grill, Ted McGinley as Jefferson was exactly what the show needed at this point. Jefferson was just a better fit with the Bundys and ironically had more organic fluid chemistry with Bearse as her husband more than Garrison did. So glad that David Garrison got to do his Broadway thing and had major success with that while the show started really hitting its stride in season 5 with Jefferson on board.
I LOVE A L , KELLY BUD , THEY FUNNY I LOVE BART HOMER THEY SO SWEET ,, NICE PEOPLE ,,
It's ok Marcy your next husband is hot!
Remember one time Kelly tricked her and Bud into thinking they slept together! You think she ever found out they didn't?
It's not impossible they did after that before Marcy met Jefferson.
Funny she has that line being gay and all.
Can't half blame Steve tbh.. she was turning him into a woman. Not letting him watch sports, making him go to bed early. Not letting him do his own thing basically following him around like a bad smell.

The irony is that in real life the actress playing Marcy is a lesbian.
You don't say. What gave it away? Her looks, her behaviour, her sense of fashion?
@@RobinMcBeth
I normally don't point out something like that, but several MWC videos that are " behind the scenes " looks, and I believe her WIKI page and other sources, point this out. It made filming of the show especially difficult with the character of Al Bundy being such an outspoken critic of women who didn't meet a certain standard.
@@RobinMcBeth she is openly gay since -93
yes. i wish they had done something with that other than 'the identical cousin' who was a lesbian. A sultry, powerful bank president finding her attractive. Like when Gary latched onto Bud.
