A shame more games like Morrowind don't exist guess the time passed them by; It really is unfortunate more games like it did not come out, then we would at least have them, even if they are old.

Yo congratulations on the sponsor! That's amazing, dude. Really cool run. You have a cool way of showing the run and also telling the story of what's going on. Also god, Ralen Hlaalo, the infinite storage box lmao. Yeah he was and still is a pretty popular storage option. Meanwhile, come Oblivion and Skyrim, a cloth sack the size of a grapefruit is capable of holding the entire universe inside of it. Something that's interesting is using calm on NPCs that are instantly aggro and raising their disposition to 100 ( through a few sessions pending starting disposition is I believe; sometimes it lowers again after leaving the dialogue ). When the calm wears off it'll make -most- NPCs no longer aggressive, which allows you to talk to a majority of them normally. Most often, the "Fight" stat of those instant combat NPCs is set to 90, so there is the slightest amount of wiggle room to make friends. In a way, this trick is actually easier at times than physical combat if your Speechcraft is high enough, or if you just bribe your way through things. Most naturally aggro NPCs don't really have stellar Personality or Speechcraft, so it's rarely an issue. You can essentially make buddies with an entire group of bandits and partake of their loot without them batting an eye.
Seeing a sponsorship about a book of that genre is refreshing on youtube. Unfortunately I am deep into a book series already but soon as I am done with that I will be sure to have a look. What's more, I know friends that would also be interested so they are sure to have a look too.
I absolutely love the work you do on the captions. I know it probably takes a lot of time but I have a hard time paying attention when I am watching anything without subtitles. Please keep doing it. Also the little jokes you put into the subtitles are great ❤
I wanna see a playthrough where you play as smelly Orc (0 Personality) and have to avoid touching any water source, including rain, because you refuse to bathe. Could roll it into a playthrough where you have to constantly levitate over Solstheim 'cause you know, snow is frozen water. I'd also love an acrobatic playthrough where 'the floor is lava'. It's so stupid it's perfect.
Every time I watch this I giggle at how he keeps looking back when picking a lock. Stuff on the ground definitely doesn’t disappear. When I played this extensively like 20 years ago, I used Caius Cosades’ roof as a giant storage/display of high value items, armor sets, etc.

Love the Thieves Guild in Morrowind, it's cool that it conflicts with the Fighters Guild so it's not very easy to do both at the same time. Also, the Bal Molagmer questline is awesome - you really do feel like a comic book character and get absolutely zero reward for doing any or all of the quests (I guess the gloves are nice), which is very true to the nature of the organization.
Fun fact with Suran, you can loot pretty much everything from the Outfitter with impunity and is a great start as she has basic weapons, armor, smithing hammers, and master lockpicks. I always stop there whenever starting a new run
4:55 Instead of buying it, you can obtain the Raw Ebony you need by breaking into the lower level of Elf-Skerring, the boat on the far side of the Gateway Inn. The hatch on the deck is only lock level 25.
Pro tip for training acrobatics, falling gives a lot of xp, and is proportional to how far you fell. I normally use the large staircase in balmora that connects the fighter/mages guild area to the hlaalu/manor district. Its not too far a walk out of town to rest, or you can join the fighter/mages guild to sleep in their beds. Once your acrobatics is high leveled, you can even jump along the bookstore's roof to increase the fall height.
Effectively playing this Thieves Guild like it's Oblivion's... and how Skyrim's should be but isn't outside of the boring radiant quests. Hell, with Skyrim, it was a lot more fun playing through that questline without killing NPCs outside of the finale... and was hilarious hearing Mercer constantly get bullied by the draugr before he betrays you because you opted to sneak your way past them all.
race's only impact on speechcraft is that you get a 5 points disposition bonus if you share the same race as your interlocutor. I don't know if you get a penalty as a khajit when talking to a dunmer though, but it doesn't seem like the case. the only parameters taken into account when using persuasion are disposition (which is influenced by personnality, faction affiliation, race, reputation... among other things) and either your speechcraft skill for taunt, intimidate and admire or you mercantile skill for bribes, aswell as the NPCs own speechcraft/mercantile skill (just like an NPCs agility affects your own hitchance, an NPCs speechcraft affects your own ability to persuade.)
I really enjoy this channel, the way he thinks about and then executes these playthroughs make me feel like I'm a complete novice even though I've played these games since childhood.
Ayyeee, I can confirm as well as that the sponsored book series is actually good. I also finished the first book, and got through most of the second one before I got distracted by new books from the main series's I read. Also if you've read the book, The Ruins of Gorlan/ The Rangers Apprentice series, you'll probably also like the sponsored books 👍 very similar premises, mixed w Eragon as mentioned.
This might be a very minor thing that everybody probably already knows. But you can also accomplish Habasi's dwemer artifacts mission she gives you by going to Arkngthand when you go get the dwemer cube for the main quest. (The Same with the Mages Guild Master at aldruhn and The Legion fort commander by Balmora)
There's a bunch of items in the Redoran manor homes that the thieves guild wants you to steal so I always just grab them all in one trip. Nalcarya has dimonds in her very easy locked and unguarded chest upstairs. Withershins is in the Ald'ruhn mages guild and can be stolen while stealing the tanto.

I don't know if you get a penalty as a khajit when talking to a dunmer though, but it doesn't seem like the case. the only parameters taken into account when using persuasion are disposition (which is influenced by personnality, faction affiliation, race, reputation... among other things) and either your speechcraft skill for taunt, intimidate and admire or you mercantile skill for bribes, aswell as the NPCs own speechcraft/mercantile skill (just like an NPCs agility affects your own hitchance, an NPCs speechcraft affects your own ability to persuade.)
also if you are in combat stance (weapon drawn, readied fist or spell) you get a slight disposition penalty so watch out for that when talking to NPCs
@@sigmazeta2044 yes, it's always a 5 point penalty but it is restored back when you sheath your weapon.
It makes me so happy to see you taking off. Absolutely deserved (and congrats!)
Also if you've read the book, The Ruins of Gorlan/ The Rangers Apprentice series, you'll probably also like the sponsored books 👍 very similar premises, mixed w Eragon as mentioned.
thanks for dropping a recc :) Hope you can get back onto the third book soon!
Thanks for uploading these with captions!
Dude, I really love how you got to show your personality, humor and character more in this video.
Really good stuff, my guy!
Dude I was just looking at your channel whispering soon, and five mins later, boom, new video. You rock ❤
Its cool that you got a book sponsor, I wonder why you dont see more of those
So many reasons which are hard to go into. I think I might actually be unique for doing these. If yu do check the books out I really appreciate it!
I just finished book 3 of Songs of Chaos recently, such a good seties so far
oh sweet - thank you so so much for reading :D
This might be a very minor thing that everybody probably already knows.
But you can also accomplish Habasi's dwemer artifacts mission she gives you by going to Arkngthand when you go get the dwemer cube for the main quest.

Bro.
I have never seen a more slick transition in to an ad. That took me by surprise.
