Yes landrovers afterthought,in my opinion it's best to relocate the sills in a bin and replace them with steel box that doesn't crumple like a coke can and has the added bonus of being highlift jackable!!! Still laughing at previous post like comment!

Have you seen the electric conversion by jaunt?
Not convinced on electric conversions for LR's. Too heavy, and not enough range - and the costs are way too high!
I can buy an awful lot of diesel for the price of an electric conversion
The thing is here in Quebec we have the cheapest electric in North America, but not that many electric cars - OK for driving in cities, but not for driving city to city - and winter is long and hard here - this is hard on batteries as you need heating
I filled up with 90L of diesel in 2 minutes the other day - when you can charge an electric car that fast I may be interested - but I cannot see it in my lifetime!

@@BritannicaRestorations yes it's impractical I just find intrest in the technical aspects involved and the insane amount of speed that he gets out of a series two it's like watching an old black and white commedy like Harold loyd!

@@BritannicaRestorations I think that they're buying out rivian or is that Ford? Oh yes I remember now truck as in lorry ? Aero shaped , it won't be too long before the structure becomes the battery from what I've seen from Volvo using carbon fibre,they replaced the battery with the front scuttle and it's weight is barely a few grams!
