“Thanks for sticking through the whole video??!!?” You gotta be kidding. We are sad it’s nearly over. It’s just heaven to sit here and watch lovely people living an adventure in places like that. Thanks so much for sharing your ups and downs with us and taking us all along with you. Good luck Tom…. you are a credit to your nation. It’s such a lovely place that it’s no wonder it produces highest quality people like you. Every now and then I hear you mention negative comments…. it’s astounds me that anyone can say anything bad about your honest and decent approach to documenting your life on the ocean. It’s not easy, but it is obviously rewarding and sharing it all with us gives those of us who can’t a much wider appreciation of the beauty and variety of the ocean and littorals. Thanks again.
Sad to see Tom go. I saw him on Parlay and the man is a legend. Fantastic work figuring out and resolving the engine issue. Hopefully both engines will behave themselves from now on. Loving your boat projects and I would seriously consider a 3D Printer on board. Calm moorings on a cat will not affect the print quality and you can knock up some really useful items. Use ASA filament which is strong and UV resistant and you would need a filament dryer because of the humidity. Print at 0.16mm layer height and you would definitely be good to go. All the best Tom.
I know this video is probably a couple of months ago but I'm betting if there was no debris in the fuel it was an air leak in the line somewhere....had it happen on power boat....you guys are awesome....glad to see you both back smiling and happy...cheers
Thanks for a Great video this week. There is nothing like the Islands of the pacific. When they grab your heart, it's all over. You can never leave. Ok until next time, Aloha from your friends on the Big Island of Hawaii! Aloha and cheers 🍻
Laughing at yalls "serious" drinking faces. Warren says, "cant lose the smile". Never lose the smile Warren 😊 And when you were filming the calmness & the "rainbow", could just feel the zen. So good
Love your videos, never to long, always leave me wanting more. Warren that was a great pickup on the engine fix. Good idea to have a spare electric fuel pump...just in case. Thanks ffor taking us along to your paradise.
I’ve been watching your show for months, took me a while to catch up, you guys are my absolute favorite. I follow a couple others, of course parlay but I just want to say I am definitely living vicariously through you, ironically, we had some warranty work done on our house recently and a guy named John ( I believe that’s his name here in Arizona said he is a friend of yours and he told me about you guys so you can thank him for, introducing me to your channel! 🩵🏝️
The Kydex is very interesting, would have liked to see the whole build, I would like to see other projects you have used it for. Thanks for your awesome channel. We are getting close to buying a cat and joining you out in the sea.
Thankyou both for another wonderful video! I truly love and appreciate all the beautiful places you have shared with us. I can only dream about ever seeing them in person since I’m old now lol 😆 Safe travels and see ya next week ❤
You guys are fast becoming one of my favorite sailing channels. Always a lot of interesting stuff to take in. Tom is a bloody legend, first saw him on Parlay and then all of a sudden with you. #gunforhire lovinit
Great call swapping out fuel pumps, before doing the deep dive into the entire system! I get the alone time thing, but I'm still sorry to see Tom go, I'm sure he'll pop up again on one of the dozen or more sailing channels I watch... My first intro to him was Expedition Drenched, learned quickly he's a handy guy to have around and just a real nice person to be around. Some cool footage of the blacktip reef sharks in the shallows..!!
How do you not stay around until the end of each episode!?! These episodes are unreal. Such beauty. Another great episode and beautiful choreography. 🤘😎👍
What you guys are doing by sharing the good and hard parts of sailing is amazing. I truly find all the information interesting and educational. The fact that you have some of your community on your boat to share in the experience is first class. Keep up the great videos and information 🤙🏼🌴🌊
Ya but it took a while, it plagued us for several more weeks and at the end of the day it was a TINY pinhole leak in a fuel line that was allowing air to enter the system…
Yep you nailed it, in the end that’s exactly what we did, and as it turns out, all this trouble was due to a tiny hole in the fuel supply line just prior to the fuel pump, so it was sucking air into the system…
is the new mechanical fuel pump perhaps too weak? You mentioned the primer bulb felt weird...how about a new larger one to get a better first prime...or just wire in the electric pump on standbye just in case? just thoughts....have you opened the inspection ports on the fuel tank to check for algae growth????
Thank you for that incredible video. I have a "technical" question regarding the disposal of the used fuel pump : since fuel is really really smelly, where do you put it ?
Good question- I drain the pump completely out and back into the diesel tank and then simply let the pump air out before putting back into storage in a spare parts bin…
You are a beautiful couple. If you need a Sailor Assistant, let me know!!!! I'm not as strong as Tom, but I'm very funny and will make you laugh!!! Italian Style.....!
The Kydex looks interesting, would like to have seen the whole process. Not much online for different projects except for holsters, knife sheaths and keel guards. I will keep searching.
You should have 100k subs….whats up huh? Fun video, i feel your pain with the pesky fuel gremlins. My volvos have been there….! Hey…..EVC work around coming any time soon? Thanks, Andrew
I've gotta say, Tom really matured into an excellent sailor and I'm thinking possibly a boat could be in his future. TH-cam ? Well he is getting a lot better with his presence and persona and who knows, a youtube channel with some lady help could work. But for solid crew help there aren't meny more knowlegable experienced guys out there. I've followed him from his first well known boat he crewed for and about 4 more, some of which he had to work his but off for like Parlay .
What’s the hardest on the marriage in the creasing life style? The camera only shows the good times and the amazing destination it doesn’t show hard ship tole it takes on a marriage I’m curious when I find the boat take my wife sailing around the world. What struggles await me besides boat work and things braking. What tole will it take on my marriage how do I keep it all together fix it as problems come up.
It is said that married couples live three years together for every single year thy are out cruising. Why? Because you are together 24/7. Every day all day and night. If there are weak links in your relationship, you will find out what they are.
Thanks! Your video calms me down everyday I watch it when the market is pumping! I'm going with your insights. It makes the most sense with where we are at in the cycle. The only thing that would make me think this cycle could be slightly different is the overall increased adoption of crypto since 2019 and all the hype with the BTC/ETH ETF speculation. Could the market stay held up this cycle by the anticipation of ETFs and the overall awareness that a bull run is coming? The surge is speculated to possibly be the beginning of a massive new uptrend, making it a crucial time for investors to pay attention, I've personally benefited from following Laura A Keady trading tactics, amassing 23.9 bitcoins in a short four weeks period, which speaks volumes about his expertise....
Fight hard to keep the dream and harder 4 ur marriage 😊❤
Stress and all, what a charmingly beautiful life...

What's the "we are sad it's nearly over" comment about? Hope I didn't miss a major announcement?
@@benpotter363 no sorry, I just meant at the end when he said thanks for sticking through the video. 😁

So the fuel pump on the motor didn’t have enough power to pull the fuel from the distantly tank? Glad you got it fixedD!😅

Great Vid Warren n Erika! Some real hard moments touched in this one.
Tooooo-mmmmmeeeee! (Say it loud like you’re Mel Gibson in Braveheart yelling Free-dom!).
That shade looks great! Great thinking!!! Did you find the cause of the motor malfunction?
Ya but it took a while, it plagued us for several more weeks and at the end of the day it was a TINY pinhole leak in a fuel line that was allowing air to enter the system…
Great job guys.
Why not do a fuel pressure check on those lines? Or a gauge that will show you inline pressures? Great videos , thanks!😊

I've thought about having a mounting bracket on each sugar scoop for emergency use with your outboard. Have someone on the throttle within earshot.
The material you made the holder out of is very interesting...Thanks for making me aware of it. Is it called Kydex? What thickness were you using?

Reconnect? It's sexy time. Have the time of your lives, always.
Warren is a true Renaissance Man!
Tom from OPERATION DRENCHED years ago...
Ya same great guy!!
