Town of Salem 2 brings new roles, new features, and new life to the world of Salem and the social deduction genre. Join up to 14 other players online and use your wit and abilities to emerge victorious. As a Town member, your goal is to lead your fellow members to victory by identifying and eliminating your opposition. Use your role's unique abilities to reveal yourself as innocent, track down killers, or even take down suspicious individuals. There are countless ways to play and win.
Meanwhile, the Coven, Neutral, and Apocalypse factions work from the shadows, using their own abilities to thwart the Town's efforts. Whether it's burning away dead bodies, blocking Town members' abilities, or going on a killing rampage, each role has its own unique approach to achieving victory.
BetterTOS2 Mod adds 7 new roles and various new content such as Jackal , Auditor , Judge, Starspawn , Oracle and Inquisitor to enhance the TOS2 gameplay. And the mod also comes with various balance changes fixing what was problematic in vanilla,

Seeing Jackals gain Maj and then having to find Death is incredibly ironic
it's like they became the replacement town
Also the recruit Arso’s death note of “And without further ado some minor Terrorism” was funny in context of the game

I'll be frank, the recruited Arsonist igniting was huge. Massively lucky that the evil recruit was an Arso, If Warlock transformed into Death that night and they didn't ignite, it wouldn't have been a 50/50 chance. The fact you were able to play it cool as Investigator after two straight days (Day 2, convincing the town to hang a non-jailed TI claim. Day 3, lynching the Banshee who was foolishly pushing purely out of spite) was also very clean. And to give the Mayor some credit, they quickly realised their mistake for not guiltying the Hex Master and revealed to secure the lynch when everyone else was pushing the Arsonist.
A lot seemed to be going wrong, but fortune favoured the bold.

Unfortunately, Tuba said it will be modded exclusive.
They can’t bring Jackal in vanilla because when a coven/apoc recruit dies they can put their faction for free and can’t get penalized for it
Jackals and Vamps are too chaotic to be added in Vanilla.

iirc, tags up to 2 people, and if tagged person votes guilty, warlock gets a charge

9 really didn't play that well on D3 at all. Instead of going after the one guy that was sussing you and being spiteful, you should be redirecting attention away from yourself, like how you did twice.
