Hallo AkaiCBR, und wieder mal ein tolles Video von dir. Audio und Video sind top. Mir gefällt vor allem der hohe Kontrast bzw. Effekt bei diesem Video. Wie hast du das gemacht? Danke im Voraus!
Starting on 650cc is a bit aggressive, but if you start on one, CB650R is probably the best one to do it on, as the full HP output is locked up-top. And if you take it easy as a beginner and mostly deal with 40-50hp under 6000rpm, then as you build confidence, you can start tapping into full power in higher rpms.
@@plotonapolonich5513 I m gonna be careful I promise 🤞I did my driving license on a CB750 HORNET and I could handle it pretty well. Well I think I have to keep driving as if my instructor is driving behind me...at least until I get comfortable 😋
I have the 2023 model and love it. Everything you say here is accurate. This bike is about as “beginner friendly” as a 95+ horsepower bike can be - it isn’t going to “jump off the line” at an intersection due to the low torque numbers at the bottom. But mine is unrestricted and it will fly for a street bike (not a supersport but will hit 150 mph) so it’s great at highway speeds. This puts it in the unique position as serving as a “long term” bike if you’re a daily rider like me as well as being okay to start IF YOU’RE MATURE in your decisions as a rider.
Yep, the restricted and unrestricted versions are both very comfortable and low risk - just to clarify, mine is unrestricted. Thank you for your comment 🙏
@@imranfotography I do still ride daily to work and back. I think it would be great for the open roads in Tx (I lived in west Texas - El Paso - for a little while) Its really made for the highway with the majority of its power at the higher end. You can cruise at a pretty good highway speed indefinitely. It’s also not bad in town though. While I usually don’t shift into 6th gear until I’m at 55 to 60, you CAN be in 6th by 40 mph. So in town you can keep it in 4th or 5th gear and not have to be shifting up a down all the time. Of course, as a Honda, it is very reliable. I really enjoy mine.
The CBR650R is the perfect all-rounder: ample power, fuel-efficient, sporty but not overly so. It has everything you will ever need. I had one last year and I loved it. Unfortunately, I sold the bike a couple of months ago because I thought I needed an upgrade. So I bought the S1000RR. I love this bike as well, but if I'm honest, it's a little bit too much. Not just a beginner's bike, it is the best bike! Having so much fun after receiving it so far, I am able to drive it to the workplace every day without any exhaustion. Lovin it!
Yes most definitely, best confidence booster and path to a bigger bike later. I just purchased one with E Clutch have to say I love it, been on bikes 40 years plus, it’s lots of fun, admittedly makes me lazy as not using the clutch, I do pull it by accident once in a while but got out the habit quickly. I nearly kill myself when I go on my other bike within the first few seconds but get back into it quickly feathering etc lol. I would advise new riders don’t go too big, you’ll be scared off and it won’t be enjoyable, some can adapt no problem but this is where accidents start happen. They extort new riders on bigger bikes, go for the 650, build up the discounts, it’s worth it. Get more road craft with a more management bike first, it’s worth it in the long run and when ready go up to a litre plus if so. Sad thing is now, there are strict speed limits, cameras, idiotic and more dangerous drivers on the roads now. Stay safe, and enjoy the CBR650 if you get one with or without E Clutch.

I using my CBR650R only on Track for Racing. I have all different Sprokets for Front and Rear and most i use the Frontsproket 16Z. But you must know, the ECU calculate the Speed with the Crank rpm and the Transmission, if you change a Sproket, the Dashboard will show you not the real Speed. A smaller Frontsproket and a bigger Rearsproket will show you a higher Speed and a bigger Frontsproket a lower Speed. For me on a Track, that is no Problem but if you will use the Bike on a Speedrestricted Highway, you must control and calculate this.
I just got the same bike as you and I’m loving it , I have a question since you mentioned you are going to do your first service can I ask how many km you’ve done until you need to make the first service ? Thank you really appreciate your videos
Is it comfortable position or its like the other naked bike from kawasaki such as z1000 i drove one my back hurts and its not comfortable is this like a normal bike position or i must lay my back and my hands too far from handle like sport bikes. ?
Can you relate more to the weight difference from a 125cc, i live in germany too and ride a Honda cb125r, i never rode anything bigger and id like to buy that cbr650r as my next bike. I’m 41 and have been driving rollers before and this is my first normal bike, I’ve been riding it for a year now.
Honestly I feel like the weight does have a big impact. The bigger tire and seating position means you have to use much more force to lean - ultimately if that isn’t a problem, you’re good!
What do you all think of the new audio and video quality?

Any plan to install a smaller front sprocket? I'm thinking about getting this bike but in the naked version.
Not that easy to change things like that in Germany at all, most likely not gonna happen 🙂↕️
Best bike overall!
What is the difference between the CBR500R and the CBR650R regarding performance of the A2 version?
Sadly I can't really give a factual answer without doing my research first, as I have not ridden a 500r :/
@@AkaiCBR no problem :)
Good content 👍🔥
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Nice video, keep uploading!!
Thank you! Much love 🙏🏻
Anybody know when this bike is coming to the 🇺🇸 ? Really would love to get this new 2024 refresh here in the states
No idea
It’s not
Looking at this bike for my first bike taking my test in 4 weeks!
Definitely has everything you need for a first bike!
Upgrading from a Yamaha R15 would be good upgrade too right??
The CBR is always a good upgrade because it’s an incredibly well built all round bike!
I want them to go ahead and put a DCT on this
I'd say beginner bike for the heavier set rider or for the rider that has a lot of experience with dirt bike
From where did you buy the winglets ?
I just got the same bike as you and I’m loving it , I have a question since you mentioned you are going to do your first service can I ask how many km you’ve done until you need to make the first service ? Thank you really appreciate your videos
Gratz on the bike!
Honda says you need at least 800km and at most 1500km. I was at 1180 when I dropped it off.
Thank you so much , I must speak with my dealer then , hope I see you on the road one day ripping that beauty , we live very close to each other ☺️☺️
@@josemartins5706 Sure feel free to say hello if you do see me :D
Nice, but I think I like the Aprilia RS660 more in this class.
The Aprilia rs660 is also a very sick bike. Super futuristic
😢this is a more budget friendly competitor.
Do you have the ethrottle, what do you think of it?
If you meant E-Clutch, I don't have the E-Clutch Version!
@@AkaiCBR that's what I meant haha
Is it comfortable position or its like the other naked bike from kawasaki such as z1000 i drove one my back hurts and its not comfortable is this like a normal bike position or i must lay my back and my hands too far from handle like sport bikes. ?
It’s between naked and sports bike! In my opinion it’s still comfortable
@@AkaiCBR thank you bro enjoy ur E clutch new tech 👌🏻
Bro, why you didn't get the e-clutch version?
I had multiple reasons, don’t need it, didn’t wanna wait, no availability etc
Aprilia RS660 or CBR650R ?
haven’t been on the Aprilia , but I’d choose Honda
You decided against the e-clutch upgrade?
Yes sir, it’s not really necessary
@@AkaiCBR fair enough mate, but you can still get an original Honda quick shifter without the full e-clutch?
@@benwarnock yes sir, I have it installed, use it rarely though
@@AkaiCBR ah ok cool thank you 👍
so I also love cbr650r but why didnt you get the cbr600rr instead just wondering
It's mainly a track bike and I don't like the design that much!
is it in canada or the us i cant find anything ?>????
Seems like at the moment US and Canada don't get this version :/
@@AkaiCBR not true im in canada quebec and i have one in order :)
Hi akai, can u tell us how tall are u ?
I’m about 1.87, or 6‘1
i like your cbr bro... 😮 ❤
Gonna use it to ride fast my boy! 😂
How fast though
Is Lane splitting legal in Germany?
its illegal
but nobody really cares, not even most of the opps. you should be fine
It’s not being prosecuted, literally everyone does it and this is a very popular commuting route where everyone scooted over
It's good to know because I live in Germany too 😋 maybe one day we can drive together, there are some beautiful routes here in Schwarzwald!!!
Looks good
Both very good
Can you relate more to the weight difference from a 125cc, i live in germany too and ride a Honda cb125r, i never rode anything bigger and id like to buy that cbr650r as my next bike. I’m 41 and have been driving rollers before and this is my first normal bike, I’ve been riding it for a year now.
Honestly I feel like the weight does have a big impact. The bigger tire and seating position means you have to use much more force to lean - ultimately if that isn’t a problem, you’re good!
Bro please get a Exaust ❤
None out yet
Its disheartening that this bike is not going to launch in India😟😟
Gonzalez Kevin Taylor Richard Martinez Helen
When people stop to mention "beginners bike"
Sehr gutes Englisch!!! 😊
Danke 🙏 :))
Doesn't matter, can't get one in America anyway, piss off Honda.
Very unfortunate 😭
MT07 is slow man 650r has sauce
Well if you know hpw to drive already shure 1st bike nahh
Why?
210kg? That sucks. My cb1000r is 212kg
Yeah it's pretty heavy. 4cyl problems I guess
hab es auch neu gekauft super bike aber schon ein fetten kratzer XD
Was hast du angestellt 😂
Zu schnell in die kurve leiblanke angekommen 😂
A 92HP bike is certainly not a beginners bike.
Hp has nothing to do with that though
Gonzalez Brian Brown Scott Robinson Dorothy
Show the bike, all ride no images of the bike is boring
Thanks for your feedback
✌🏍🐺
it should defently not be a beginner bike..
