Hey! does it feel too heavy for city rides doing turns at low speed and stuff? i heard that honda nx500 even thought being a very heavy bike doesnt feel heavy due to excellently weight distribution so i was wondering if its the same case with this bike too

This guy came unprepared and did not do his homework. Gsx8r is not a track bike. It’s a sport/tour upright and much more comfortable bike.

spiele schon länger mit dem Gedanken, aber wenn du mal bei regen fährst, merkst du das der originale halter, tatsächlich sinn macht. Da ich die CBR auch für touren nutze und mehrer tage damit unterwegs bin hats mich schon öfter im regen erwischt, demnach bleibe ich dabei auch wenn er beschissen aussieht leider, der rücken bleibt trocken

Looks so nice. And it goes all the way down so the plate remains stable. I bought one from Evotech and my plate was ripped in the middle on the bottom part because of wind forces i guess. Pretty dissapointing.

Sorry to be that guy 😅 I’m not telling you for your safety. That is not how you REV match down shifts it should be almost one movement and the clutch should come out slowly that’s why when you do it the bike just drops revs too fast and doesn’t sound right at all You need to letting out the clutch before the revs drop back down your delay in letting the clutch out means once you do let it out the revs have already dropped back down completely ruining the downshift

Totally agree! I'm 21 and have always rode dirt bikes since I was a kid. Last year, I made my decision to bring my passion on the road by making the A2 license and by buying the bike I always wanted... KTM RC390! I loved it! But unluckily, the engine blew up after 1000 kilometres and had to resell it (second hand, the warranty was expired).. Now I'll be moving on the CBR 650r. I can't wait! Looks sick and reliable, and I hope to keep it for a while 🤞🏻

By the way, there are a lot of people interested in naked performance bikes with a sporty look. That's why this market (arguably sport/touring) has seen so many different bikes coming out in the last few years

I have a 2020 CBR650R and I've always had the problem of not being able to kick in the 2nd gear easily. From the 1st gear, it'd go into the neutral half the time and I'd have to upshift once more in order to go into the 2nd gear. I honestly thought it happens because I suck at shifting gears. Good to know that it's a common problem and I don't feel as stupid now.

I started riding road bikes on a KLR650 back in '12, different type of 650, but that thing almost snuffed me. (crashed into the back of a box truck and spent 2+ weeks in the ICU + 3 months of rehab.) I'm still riding, currently a 2017 S1KRR... it's all about respecting the bike so she'll respect you back.

The comment on fluid temperatures is very valid but there are more improvements to the TFT that must be easy for Honda to add. Fuel - range AND tank level Heated grips - not just on/off but what level. These things are also elsewhere in the menus, why not display them. Road Sync is too basic for me to use. I just sync my helmet to my phone and use Waze (police, hazards, traffic etc) and Spotify. Much better. Plus Road Sync doesn’t support ‘hey siri’ where a direct connection does. These are minor complaints, I love the bike. Even the silver footpegs!

Try riding any Ducati, then go back to the Honda. Vibrations do not compare, not even close. Honda is smooth as silk.

Powder coated footpegs fade over time. The silver ones are for longevity.

3 cylinders are so slept on. It’s like it’s made to truly zip around commuting

Wieso hast du die originale Kennzeichenbeleuchtung montiert und nicht die mitgelieferte? Hab irgendwo gelesen, dass bei einem die Sicherung durchgebrannt sein soll, weil er die mitgelieferte eingebaut hätte was ich mir nicht so ganz vorstellen kann :/
