Really excited for bloomb and duskmourn. really cool sets to end the year. all in all I think it was a very good year for magic, with the exception being Karlov Manor.
I think its less of “blinded by the light of bloomburrow” and more of “bloomburrow prereleases start next week so its the most relevant set right now” :p
@@solargod03 well yeah if you’re talking universes beyond. They also don’t have Dr. Who (or any nearly any fantasy hero) wearing sneakers for almost the same reason- they make you look fundamentally unserious. They are going for stranger things, except instead of universes beyond- Jayce is just gonna Planeswalk up to kids wearing converse all stars and tell them smoky the bear says to not start forest fires. But he won’t ask about rubber or phones or wrist watches and it will all work out in the end!

Duskmorne is exactly my kinda vibe. Not saying Bloomburrow doesn't have great cards, but not really my kinda artwork and cards overall.
