@@mufasafalldown8401 Yeah that's a tough one with the lands mate. I do think they'll drop a tiny bit bu then go up again, that seems the usual cycle for land prices in standard.
Purchased the valgavoth starter commander deck and also pulled valgavoth terror eater today so im looking forward to my new commander deck for sure. Death by mothman
The different variants are why i stopped collecting midnight/crimson. I do like the look of the shrieker and heard mana dorks coming back soon so might have to jump back onto arena

Remember there's a ton of reanimator that has been printed in the past couple years that cares about MV 3 or less - That Oculus will slot nicely into Esper decks running a lot of Connive and things like Sevinne's Reclamation

Valgavoth looks like one that's going to drop in price. For 9 mana I think it's too expensive for limited and there are better reanimation targets in every constructed format. Also, Unstoppable Slasher pairs great with Solemnity!

I'm new to mtga and got the starter pack and have a bunch of wildcards but very few meta cards. Should I wait for the new set to drop before crafting cards or can I craft cards without worrying about the meta changing up? For reference i think the mouse deck and gruul would be decks that i go for (because i like the aggression of red).
I wait for the new set and then i decide what to do with my wildcards after i played some games with it, the other cards dont run away, but yeah the mouses are cool, probably i will go for them too
Hey buddy, sorry for late reply! I think with the meta decks only a few cards from the new set will be added. This seems to happen every set. The mouse deck will still be there as it’s good and very consistent. I’d wait to see what else catches your eye for a bit but generally we have the same archetypes unless a whole new theme can be broken.
Cardboard just should not be so expensive, and the deluge of alternative versions of cards really just feeds the fomo and makes a great profit margin for Hasbro. Its run amok these last few years. This set looks great, but oh boy what a lot of nonsense they are printing.
I think they're certainly a niche type of card that some players like and some don't. Like i have a few on cards i know exactly what they do and are, but a knew card i'd leave it for a bit.
@@KoltonBlaze625 I don’t think they’re being ignorant it’s just a personal preference. I for one quite like them and have bought many different language booster boxes but that’s me. I bought far too many Japanese Mystical Archive boxes lol.

I think paper Magic would be 100x better if lands were dirt cheap. Probably the biggest reason I don't keep my decks up to date or build more.

Yeah I think there’s gonna be a few of those type of decks around and players will have to run main board graveyard hate I reckon.
