You have a fine rifle there, Congrats! I have the M1A standard, with walnut stock & 22' barrel, they are really great rifles, I would never get rid of mine.

That is a helluva rifle and I’m sure you are aware of the money that Spring Field donates to organizations that don’t like patriotism, but I almost bought a Victor a couple of years ago instead a Sig Sauer 516 jumped out at me. I would buy any rifle I wanted as long as I could afford it no matter what the background. I’m really liking this and I wish I could shoot it I hope you enjoy it

Did yours come with a cleaning kit in the stock? Something you purchase separately? Just got my rifle opened and saw empty holes in the stock.
