I like the arch ex list will be testing with for sure
Hey man! Great video. I started playing about a month ago and just watching your TH-cam vids and trying to emulate your plays I've hit Arceus rank. Appreciate the great content.
Appreciate it! Keep pushing to your goals! Thank you for the kind words and enjoying the content
Lugia Deck has 61 cards. Maybe cut 1 Lugia V? Will help with consistency lol
You cut the Water Ogrepon since this list runs less DT energy to Sob-lock with
I'm surprised to see only 1 bravery charm in the garde list
Right, I’m wondering what happens after drifloon or screamtail gets knocked out with it. How will you power them up for max hit capability?
You don’t need Fez in this build. Don’t really need Manaphy either. Another charm and another psychic energy is better
using charms is scary because of how prevalent pult is going to be, other gardevoirs (munki), and archuladon running 2-3 towers.
focusing on swinging w garde itself and only using drif/scream to end games is probably better/safer
@@FrenzyPlant-s3oyour main attacker is Gardevoir with 2 monkeys
Munki + gardie or drifloon is pretty much always enough to kill every support ex in the game. The one charm is mostly used for the big boss like zard
Interesting to see you place ancient box in top 10, I don't think a ton of people feel that way as the stage 2 decks and dusknoir are such a problem. What are your thoughts of trying to fit a gastrodon ssp into the list?
How many energy cards are in the charizard list, you can't see the number?
Surprised a bit at no Klawf Terapagos. It’s another deck that can make use of Budew
For sure. Definitely could be in here over bolt.
Budew can actually hit 50 damage with mochi + 10 poison or 30 if you have Hisuian Sneasler on the bench
That’s a lot of damage with item lock
@@cleliaeuniceduartepastora5143 yo journey together burn + poision budew drop 100 damage item lock
This is no world in which Dragapult is the #2 deck. It’s inconsistency is through the roof
I like my spicy peppers and shall see what I can do with them :)
I can’t use mankidori?
I don't remember losing any single match against Garde, no cap. I'll try it when it beats me one day
@@RookieDrifter I'm a new player, but I keep losing to Gardy. I already beat all other decks multiple times (Chari, Dragapult, Regidrago, Roaring-Moon, Ceruledge, Terrapagos, Duralugon, Lugia, Chien-Pao...), the only one I always lose to is Gardy. And I play Dragapult, I don't know if it's a bad match-up or not.
OK I just beat my first Gardy, it was close though.
If you cut Fez and Manaphy, and add a bravery charm and another psychic energy, I think the Gardevoir deck is stronger. I also prefer it with Trolley but I think Unfair is obviously great too.
U don't need 8 energies? You also don't need 2 charms since Gardevoir is the main attacker with the resurgence of Double Munkidori
@ you need 7 psychic energy. And check all the Gardevoir lists that are winning city league events, they all play 2 if not 3 charms. If you have 4 Arven you may as well have at least 4 tools. You have to be able to one shot knock out a stage 2 in the active with Drifloon and knock out a basic EX or V on the bench with Scream Tail in many games. I agree Gardevoir and double Munki are your first attackers but getting the charm on your single prize attackers is just as important.
@@bw2020 I can't really name a matchup where 2 charms would be necessary so no, I don't think it's necessary and why would I want to put an unnecessary card in my deck just to have an extra arven target late game. And check out Henry Chao's list on the most recent Toronto Regionals, he also gave great reason as to why 2 charms were unnecessary. You simply don't need it, hitting 250 vs VStars with Gardevoir Double Munki is way better than just killing them because u set up a multi prize turn while denying fez. I do agree on the energies though, idk why we're running 6 but getting rid of Manaphy just seems extremely throwing vs Drago
@ maybe the meta is different outside of Japan, but 2 charms is pretty standard, the 14th place Champions League played 2 charms and no Manaphy. But then again Drago is not as popular as it once was. I think the extra charms give you an edge in the match ups against Charizard and Ancient box where your Gardevoir is at risk of a one shot knock out due to weakness. If you let stage 2’s like Dragapult and Charizard have 2 consecutive attacks you could really be screwed, so you need the one shot with Drifloon.
@bw2020 you can't Charm Gardevoir, charm only works on basics. The deck already has a Charizard tech with Mawile which is more than enough, you're never going through 2 Charizards in one game
