Dang! Do you know how refreshing it is to see video of someone opening packs and NOT putting the prices next to them? Not chasing the most valuable or expensive cards, but actually the ones that are USEFUL for the game? Bravo, this is fantastic.
I mean prices would still be cool, as someone who doesent play or collect I am genuinely curious on the value on some of the cards they pull. Maybe just doing the bigger hits and nothing else would be cool without it being overkill.
The absolute WHIPLASH I got from Chip saying that Charizard might be a tough deck to beat into the IMMEDIATE segway into Azul's reveal that he pivoted back into Charizard 😂 Always look forward to seeing these release and I look forward to seeing y'all in the next episode :D
Chip: "If he pivoted back to Charizard this could get a little awkward..." Azul: "soo I've made my way back around to Charizard..." One of the best transitions 😂😂 You couldn't write a better story!
Guys give me background music suggestions for when I edit next episode I’m running out of music styles and finding french music for this video took ages 💀
My fiancé and I have been watching all of these to learn the TCG again. I love how y‘all walk through the entire process and explain why you use each card. Thank you guys for bring the kid in us back!!!! ❤
Oh yes, let’s go. Thanks for continuing this series. 🙌🏼 Fun to watch, and a great way to capture the evolution of the game as the expansions were released.
I know Azul mentioned wanting to challenge himself with the deckbuilding after this episode, but I honestly think it might be beneficial to say you're not allowed to use the same primary attacker 2 episodes in a row or something along those lines. Mind you, it's not a problem if you just make an effort to avoid using the same ones all the time. Alternatively, it might be a good idea to soft reset the series now, allowing for no more than 1 year's worth of cards at a time. Meaning SV Base through PAF, then reset for TEF through PRE and so on. Would make it way more interesting to see how you handle no Rare Candy, no Nest Ball, no Ultra Ball and so on for the 2024 sets. Would force a lot more innovation and creative means to win, which was a big draw at the start of the series - at least to me. Either way, good episode. Just not particularly exciting after I saw Azul's chosen deck.
I think that next Season of this, yall should have a card limit where each upcoming episode, you are forced to replace a certain amount of cards from the deck you used in the previous episode. :) loved watching this!
I love this channel and the content you guys are producing it a simple idea but fun. Both of you Chip and Azul are awesome and I am rooting for you Chip to win next game but azul the way you play is pretty cool too. Both of you are really likable to be honest. Wish the channel the best. I will keep supporting from the back YAY.
I like this series. It's so unique and just fascinating seeing how they make functional decks with very little packs. Can't wait to see the next episode. Just a shame Charizard is used so much though, that deck is anti-fun to go against
Love this series! Just just an idea to keep it more fun and balanced, but if chip doesn’t pull an ACE spec the next box give him the other Hero’s Cape since there’s 2 now and it’s sort of unfair to have Azul in the lead the only person with one if there’s 2 now haha!! Upvote this if you agree so they can see this please :)
Since now there is a lot more cards compared to early episodes, and we might see lots of repetition along with more standardized trainers, what if you made the best of three with different decks each battle and made it so no cards can overlap between decks?
This sounds like an interesting idea. Would make be challenging to build 3 functional, consistent decks rather than just 1. Alternatively, as I suggested in a separate comment, make it a year's worth of cards at a time. So every 6 or so sets would be one "rotation" for the purposes of this series. Either by making it 6 sets at a time from here on out (meaning SV Base and PAL fall away in the next episode), or by saying from now on they're only allowed to use "G" cards (meaning SV Base through PAF/PAR are all gone from now on). I think anything that forces the innovation and creative thought processes of the first couple of episodes would be beneficial to the series' longevity.
Making multiple decks would also help balance things out where Chip's surplus of supporters can finally give him an edge against Azul's stronger pokemon.
I wonder if this series could work with a side deck. Like a 10 card side deck you lock in before the match that you’re allowed to swap cards with between rounds. Could put some “just in case he has charizard” stuff in there like leaves
at 43:00.. you used super rod to put iron crown and 2 energy back into your deck, but you top decked them all instead of shuffling them in and used cleffa to redraw them to end your turn... i love the series but that was a lil sneaky, even if you were behind
there's a cut between chip placing the cards down and using cleffa's attack. i can only imagine that the cut is there to remove the boring deck shuffle
35:42 With the way I just noticed Iono is worded, if both players have 0 cards in their hand when someone uses Iono, and therefore neither player puts any cards at the bottom of their deck, does that mean that neither player draw any cards since that condition wasn't fulfilled?
You won't be able to play her at all. Moving the cards to the bottom of the deck is a requirement for activation (even though the wording doesn't make that too clear)
I think over future episodes, missing some of those early trainer cards like extra ultra balls and such will be frustrating as this series goes on as they only get reprinted in sets like paldean fates or prismatic evolutions. Now hear me out.... What if ya'll do an episode where you each open a trainer tool kit to upgrade your decks??????
For standard format, you can use any cards with an "F" "G" or "H" regulation mark on the bottom left. I believe that is any card from Brilliant Stars or newer. At the end of march rotation will happen, meaning "F" marked cards will no longer be legal for standard.
Big shoutout to Pigchefer for his work editing this video! Absolute legend 🐖
Thank you chip richey 🐖

YESSSSSSSSSS FINALLY EP7 😭😭 love this series
100% agree.
Same
the dickriding is crazy

51:04 "Alright Azul, GG" i see what you did there 🤣
Guys give me background music suggestions for when I edit next episode I’m running out of music styles and finding french music for this video took ages 💀
Sabaton?
girl so confusing feat lorde
Persona 3,4,5 soundtracks
Yeb try persona game sound track, so many good song
Astro Bot OST had some bops🤷
At the very end of this series, you should bring your decks to a tournament and see how you do.
You guys should take these decks to a local play and battle in the tournament and whatever prize packs you get you can open for this challenge
Love this idea
My fiancé and I have been watching all of these to learn the TCG again. I love how y‘all walk through the entire process and explain why you use each card. Thank you guys for bring the kid in us back!!!! ❤
Azul getting so hyped for all the things he got at the end was awesome
W that was me pulling the prime catcher 🤓(2:16)
Oh yes, let’s go. Thanks for continuing this series. 🙌🏼 Fun to watch, and a great way to capture the evolution of the game as the expansions were released.
my favorite thing about this series is how the whole time im just thinking "wait until chip finds out about x that azul pulled"
I know Azul mentioned wanting to challenge himself with the deckbuilding after this episode, but I honestly think it might be beneficial to say you're not allowed to use the same primary attacker 2 episodes in a row or something along those lines. I like the rotation idea
For someone who is just learning to play the game and to build a deck this series is such a great learning experience! Thank you!

the awkward camera hold after Azul gets up every time makes me die every episode bro, shoutout the editor!!
I like this series. It's so unique and just fascinating seeing how they make functional decks with very little packs. Can't wait to see the next episode. Just a shame Charizard is used so much though, that deck is anti-fun to go against
Doggie raging over Acheron was so good.
28:16 personally getting so pumped at this point
This series is just as beloved as guess that flavor text

I literally watched this whole series over today and yesterday and now I dont know what to do with myself until the next episode...

cant get enough of this series. great job to pig, azul, and chip!
Great set, I opened a box of it and got a good amount of hits, including raging bolt ex gold and full art as well as a prime catcher
This is the best series on TH-cam, you should definitely do another season after so many boxes.
Your videos got me playing again, there’s a couple cards to learn since I played last… in 2001 😅
I wonder if this series could work with a side deck. Like a 10 card side deck you lock in before the match that you’re allowed to swap cards with between rounds. Could put some “just in case he has charizard” stuff in there like leaves
honestly so refressing to see someone opening packes and be happy with cards others would call 'bulk' and not just the hits😊
Nice to see some excitement on cards that aren't IR and SIR specific! Love it!!
Thanks guys, really enjoying the series.

This series is POPING off love to see it 🔥😎
13:05
Isn’t the card in the edit different than the card that he pulled?
It is hahaha gotta love editing errors
As a new player this series is so entertaining and educational, keep the awesome job!
I hope the pokemon company prints the ever living eevee out of prismatic evolutions before it's time for that episode 😭
Imagine not being excited for Shiny Baabu
35:42

I love this series please keep it going and one this is done maybe try drafting? 😂
Seriously loving this series guys, please keep it up!
Nice vid, would love a switchup to other types of videos featuring all the cards you've actually pulled
Best Pokémon series on TH-cam!!
I love this series sm you guys are awesome 🥳
This very quickly has become my favorite pokemon tcg format on yt
Love how this is just magic sealed with a twist
Been waiting for days for a new episode finally!
2:45 Wanna know what else is massive?
such high level play with those boosters!
So am I crazy, or did they only pull one Ace Spec from the booster box? I was under the impression that a booster box always came with 2 Ace Specs...
It was kind of a bad display, but 1-2 Ace is quite normal. 2 is not guaranteed
2 is the standard, there are some with less and some with more but that rarely happens. They got a bad box sadly
This series is sooo cool
GG, I would have considered slipping a Mimikyu into that psychic deck 😅 Dunno how much it wouldve helped, charizard is rough.
Is it allowed after using like daisy'a help or hisui heavy ball check prize cards again when you take a ko? Im new to the game so idk
Love this series
Cant wait to see when they finally catch up to the current sets.
Love this series keep it up!!!!
Chip salty🧂 gotta feel for him, Azul had everything according to Chip🤣🤣🤣
New episode = new chaos
Love these episodes.
This is my favorite content on yt
Man, Chip can't even get good stuff in the pity packs. I'm rooting for you, Chip!
30:54 what an absolute Chad
Am I the only one who thinks it's funny chip didn't put any electric energy just in case he wanted to use the second attack
Hoping this format spreads!
Min rarity Azul is loving his new bling deck
2:08 hey that's BasicallyMarie
Arceus bless us. My favorite video of my favorite series.
This is a great series.
Finally let’s gooooo love this series
43:34 100% Tatsuki Fujimoto reference
i love yall for doing this agaiN!!
Lol not Azul cheating and looking at his prizes when he KO'd the Flutter Mane game 1 😂
Sad that this series ends after a few more episodes when they reach Prismatic evolutions and can't find any cards (and there's no boxes anyway)
I'd be really interested to see you guys switch decks and play...AGG might just be too good
Did anyone see chip use the super rod. Not shuffle and draw the iron crown and 2 energies off cleffa? 😂😂😂
Torterra ex mentioned!
im making a meowscarda Ex deck Love this series ❤
LOVE IT! ❤
How far will you two go before you eventually maybe end up with an actual meta deck?
What an end lol 😂
I love this series
You guys featured Ngyuen in your vid with his prime catcher pull no credit to him :(
are yall going to san antonio.?
Been waiting too long for this
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!
Take a drink everytime they say prime catcher
Hi there chip and azul could you please share with me the snorlax bean bag cover or snorlax beanbag in chips background as I would love one!
The tissue bit needs to stay in, it's so funny
Surprised no Morty in Azul's list, he pulled it, right?
Edit: Ok xD
“Alright Azul GG” I see what you did there…
Does anyone know what sets I can make a deck with?
For standard format, you can use any cards with an "F" "G" or "H" regulation mark on the bottom left. I believe that is any card from Brilliant Stars or newer.
At the end of march rotation will happen, meaning "F" marked cards will no longer be legal for standard.
@eradawnz so g and h are sets I should be working on?
@@lo0nytnt Yes if you wanna play standard and have your deck be "future proof".
@@lo0nytnt Yes, so anything from Scarlet & Violet and newer.
This is a good one to lose the consolation packs could go hard
I had a buddy open a booster box and hit no ace specs and only 1 art rare and 1 full art
I last played in black and white base luxchomp meta sucked but i love yalls videos!!
How many prime catchers are seen in this video? zero. How many times does it get mentioned? Not enough times I want to give this man a prime catcher
Silencio, empezó mi teleserie
40:41 isn’t this better? You get to take 2 prizes and 2 potential threat. While if charmeleon was in the bench, chip wouldn’t KO it
