I'm so happy to see you hitting the damage cap This is likely one of the very few standard rotations ever where this is possible, so it's awesome to see it being done
Just imagine this in like, the anime. These Mime Jr.'s are hitting eachother with constantly increasing power and immense damage, just constantly. This would shake the earth and cause great fractures in reality. Even Arceus would be powerless in comparison.
I am a relatively new player, I usually only play pokemon TCG against my sister, and I get most of my cards from either walmart booster packs or flea markets in the summer. I use a lot of older cards, ones that were made long before the most recent, power-crept packs. I don't know the meta, or how many of what type of card I should use, but I still have fun. So when I compare meowscarada EX to my old non-powercrept cards I shudder, not knowing if all cards are meant to be that overpowered, or if I'm just behind the times.
Mathematically speaking rellor from Paldea Evolved can has an infinite damage potential as it relies on flipping coins and doing 30x until you get tails Although the chance of hitting heads 71 000 times in a row is fairly slim it's technically the highest attacker But realistically great job on the video, if you want a challenge you can also probably see what's the highest amount of price card you can get in one attack, considering 3 prizes vmax are still in rotation it's most likely still possible to hit silly numbers
In the previous videos they mention cards like rellor that use coin flips, and the series has kind of focused on doing the most damage without relying on coin flips.
technically rellor can’t do infinite damage, since it needs to flip a tails before it can deal damage at all. You can flip infinite heads, yes, but then you’ll never deal damage.
@@NameName-qw7ip the limit of 30 x n is infinite but the higher is n, the least likely it is to happen There is no maximum amount of potential head which means we have infinite damage possible
man, how many hours have you been preparing all of this strat? i mean, reading thousands of cards, doing the maths, and trying it i think you're one of the best tcg live channels i've ever seen (i prefer you over famous and great players' youtubers tbh)
It did take quite some time to come up with the initial strategy at first, but comments on videos helped me find optimizations faster and of course, Butter Mane found the sequence :)
If Survival Brace is going to be the only card in the deck, you could play Gholdengo ex to draw it instead of Pidgeot ex to save a deck slot. (Edit, I found out why Pidgeot ex is better)
Would you consider doing a similar thing for previous standard formats? Like maybe try around with SSH-CRZ or BST-PAF block, how the strategy is differnet with the different pool of cards
Wouldnt it be possible to loop roseanne infinitely using pokestop? Roseanne for brace and pal pad, pidgeot ex for brace, stop for pal pad, then pal pad for 1 roseanne, then you draw back into it at the start of next turn
Oh also, I didn't see you describe or explain what would happen if you went over the damage cap? Like, what would happen if you kept going longer, and didn't precicely use Skeledirge/DTE in that way. Just trying to hit the biggest possible numbers, including using Kabutops.
@@sleepingjirachi you just hope it doesn't! lol If youre going to spend 2 hours on a successful attempt, might as well gamble it all in the end for a potential higher damage
@@sleepingjirachi i mean its the possible damage that counts, not the game cap, if you were to do the same thing in the physical card game no such problems would occur, so you can just do the damage and count it as if it was actually put into play
@@CloudBrickStudios I mean, infinite damage is always possible because of coin flip pokemon like Gimmighoul. I felt that Cyllene went a bit down the Gimmighoul route a bit...
The math to hit the exact damage cap is very precise. It might be possible with Kabutops, but it would be more difficult to find the correct damage modifiers and it is not necessary anyways, so cutting the Kabutops makes the deck more consistent.
Brother, the video about hitting the 32 bit integer limit in damage has too much math? Some would call it the proper amount of math given the subject matter.
I goofed up- at the start of the vid there's meant to be this really cool animation with increasing numbers- for some reason it's not there :(
Well I think we found the counter to Zard…
ig it still loses to regidrago

@@AlmostNamedOne Real
The fact that it went from thousands to billions in weeks is just insane
This is awesome, it's so cool you could pinpoint the damage cap with small boosts 14:02. This cooperative performance PTCG is pretty unique!

Awesome video, i have no idea why this doesnt have more views!

it is rotated out but cinderace vmax has a counter attack that is 30+ compared to conkeldurr's 20+ so it should do more damage over time

no, it still wouldn't pass, or even hit, the damage cap even with the max amount of heads.

Never stop Survival Brace
Unfortunately that's an attack, which means we'll break the Counter loop when we use it
I'd like to see you find the damage cap for PTCGP
It's 990, which is kinda sad because it's possible to go so much higher
So good, top tier stuff. I would have loved to see that amount of damage being dumped on a regidrago. Would it work if you gust one up? 😂
Regidrago ☠️
It could work, but we’d have to alter the sequence because drago doesnt have weakness
With the new lillies's clefairy ex you could. But standard wull rotate probably before you can use it to change regidragos weakness

im trying to imagine doing this in an irl tabletop battle and having to tediously input the numbers on a calculator every time 😭😭

Wouldnt it be possible to loop roseanne infinitely using pokestop? Roseanne for brace and pal pad, pidgeot ex for brace, stop for pal pad, then pal pad for 1 roseanne, then you draw back into it at the start of next turn
That’d discard Pidgeot V, which is necessary to not deck out
Plus the extra bench space from AZU is necessary for all the setup
Roseanne's Backup cannot recover Pal Pad.

They did this in the 2nd vid, and it just reset to 0 damage.
I’ve done that in second vid!
meanwhile TCG Pocket only has a damage cap of 990. love seeing people find these exploits that show the limits of our favorite games lol
What happens if you go beyond the damage cap? does it overflow and the excess gets treated as the final damage?
I did that in the previous vid, it becomes zero damage
You could use Snorlax ability to get tools back from the discard pile
Snorlax only can get Leftovers
Snorlax only gets back Leftovers
@@sleepingjirachi true, forgot about that 😔
Why does kabutops screw up the math, is it a matter of card slots or is there a overflow error somewhere?
