Take Nazi Germany. The Nazi Party sure talked a lot about the nation, rebuilding it, the pride of being a German and how they wanted to make it "great" again. Well. It turns out Hitler cared very little for those Germans when he sended wave after wave in to the trenches and when they told him, those people are dying for him he simply said, that's what they are there for. I can see why they do it, because getting hung up on the small things is kind of MO of bad politicians, because as long as they can procrastinate on things that don't matter, they can draw attention away from the fact that they cannot solve the big ones. In th UK, we're having an event called Br'exit, where the people have voted to leave Europe, and we are now starting to realise that leaving Europe isn't going to fix anything that we were told that it was breaking. I voted to remain, because the reasons for leaving being thrown around were all small reasons that either didn't matter or we could have solved by just simply sitting down and talking to one another. Whilst we were arguing over people from other countries taking jobs, we overlooked one particular man from another country who was taking money. Br'exit wasn't about preventing an immigrant taking our jobs, it was about preventing the people seeing the likes of Rupert Murdoch's tax evasion. Yes, the Dems also do have a dark side and big problems that need solving. However I never saw anything good coming from the Reps, except that some did their job like they were supposed to in critical moments like validating the votes in Georgia for example. That really shouldn't be reason for praises but the bare minimum though. I am not from the U. S. A., merely informing myself about it regularly, so maybe I don't get the whole picture. Still, what I've seen in decades of U. S. politics so far is a flawed blue party and a corrupt red nest of narcissistic con-men that mostly lack moral standards and human decency, more or less. Also there should be much more then 2 parties in general, so progressive politicians with real interest in social equality and the good of the people could Form their own party and get the votes they deserve, that America deserves.

Meanwhile, the corruption continues. Things need to change.
There aren't millions of alt right people. And the alt right, what's left of it, actually supported the democrats this election.
That’s because of the echo chambers. The left think everyone against them is a white supremacist nazi, the right think every one against them is a transgendered country hating Marxist.
There was a constant bait and switch, and it was slowly killing democracy. Whilst we were all arguing over social media as to which president was going to destroy the nation, someone was already doing it and getting away with it, whilst we looked elsewhere.

best quote on this thread I've read so far! Just think what might happen if all working class Americans could 'get their shit together' and fight back in a healthy way. yes, those who by merit are rich or inheritance fine, but everyone needs a certain living wage or style of living in a country as wealthy as ours.
He is in fact, sneakily leaning right. He bought in Steve bannon and Jenna Ellis. He gave them both a microphone essentially. He let bannon speak mostly uninterrupted. He is the biggest right wing exploiter and scam artist. The architect of trumpism. And while he argued with Jenna Ellis while she sported that stupid smile while lying outright, she did get her message across.
This is something we can all agree on but the right always pushes back on this idea and defends capitalism and private companies having a right to make any decision they want. @@backwoodsred49 - People wouldn’t have to be on the fringes of the internet to get informed about what’s happening if the media worked for the people. But the media doesn’t work for the people unless by people you mean the 6 people that own all of the media. When every news channel sounds like robots all chanting the same exact phrases you start to think it’s a cult. Then when you try and leave the cult (which obviously isn’t a cult) they censor, de-platform, demonetize, blacklist, slander and demonize you which makes you feel like they are acting just like a cult. Then when there gets to be close to the same numbers of people who have left the corporate media ranch as are still on the ranch and alternative media accounts start getting more views than those watching the corporate media/// That’s when the people who left became a cult and you know that they are a cult because the corporate media tells you that they are a cult. So if the corporate news tells you that it’s not because they are jealous because they are spending billions of dollars to control the narrative and more people are watching some guy broadcasting out of his apartment who doesn’t even wear a suit and put makeup on... No, no, no! If the corporate media tells you that Hillary Clinton is going to be the next president then you know that you have to believe that Joe Biden is or something is wrong with you and that basically proves that you are in a cult bent on domestic terror and destroying their Democracy. That’s the only logical explanation and if you want proof just watch the news and they will tell you- repeatedly- on every channel and publication- over and over again until it sinks in and you chant it in your sleep.
