Edin Fifić Organised Religion has been ruling the world since Roman times, in truth the Vatican became the place where Caesar’s moved to become Popes. Wise teachers like Jesus Christ, whose name has been used to justify the killing of millions of people throughout our blood stained history of white domination tried to teach us the forgiveness, humility, compassion and acceptance. The Church used as an example the image of a sacrificial lamb on the cross, turned his mother into an example of chasteness which has sexually enslaved women ever since, turned Jesus’s wife Mary Magdalen into a whore (Roman Law permitted only the family members to be present at a crucifixion, which is why Jesus’s mother, his wife and his uncle Joseph of Aremathea, who provided his family burial place, but none of his disciples were there) and discarded all the books of the Bible ( mostly written by men and channeled, unless they had direct access to God) that referenced reincarnation, to stop us from realising that we are not subject to there dogma. This is all coming to an end now, the consciousness shift is in full swing, the darkness of people like the Ex-President is being revealed and the world is waking up.

Oh, without a doubt. It's cloaked nationalistic authoritarianism. Most of those you see in the attacks are too young to remember what WWII was all about. It's ancient history to them. You have to understand that the public educations went down hill in the 70's due to the actions of the republican administrations in creating an economy that required both parents to go to work, leaving a lot of kids without the enforced discipline and understanding of the value and need of education. It was as if the Age of Neo-Enlightenment and Neo-Discovery of the 1950's and 60's was shot dead. Having lived through it all, the 70's and 80's was difficult. Religion began to replace knowledge, mostly due to the anxiety of the lost economy and it's effects which put a fair share of the population into a state of fear and looking for solace. (Sound familiar?????) Well, those children of the 70's grew older, but without the benefits of education those of us who came before them, had. They not only are without the skills of logic, they continue to be just as ANGRY as they were as children, if not more so. (Trust me, if you were old enough to have lived through it all, the traits are sooooooo obvious.) Well, you now see them in all their glory. Easily conned into mob participation; without the skills to consider all sides of issues; focused only on themselves; and now, quite dangerous. As we've seen in the last few weeks, there is little to no difference between their actions and beliefs and those of repeat felons.
It's going to take a lot to straighten this all out. They have forced it to such a point that personally, I believe only some drastic penalties such as prison time for large numbers of them due to their own actions will be necessary. As for what to do about the militias is a real challenge. Maybe they will take the time to realize the world went through what they are forcing on us in the 1930's and 40's. The end result was tens of millions kills, nations destroyed, starving millions for decades afterwards; all because of some fascists taking advantage of poor economic conditions to turn the most vulnerable into their fodder. The end result, democracy won. These militias and other groups are telling the vulnerable they are defending democracy, when actually they are tearing it down. That's where the gullibility due to lacking education comes in, just as it did before, and it is doing now. History DOES repeat itself. Unfortunately, we are going toward the worst side of the options.

    • @commonsense955

It's how fascists work. They prey on those who are fearful, who believe they are disenfranchised. They don't think; they are uneducated or under educated, and sheep. As an outsider (Australian) looking in, I have gone from being entertained and bemused by American politics to being appalled. The whole system seems to be heading for a catastrophic collapse. Partisan politics, self interest above any common good or vision, and the pollution of money and influence of big business has corroded what little there was of democracy. The factional infighting if horrifying- when, for example, wearing a face mask during a pandemic is viewed as a political statement. Democrats are automatically baby eating communists, and republicans are capitalist monsters bent on subjugation of the masses - nothing in between, no common ground. If you don’t agree with me, you are my enemy. I am amazed to hear myself say it, but I’m beginning to entertain the possibility that America could have another civil war. It seems that Trump for one would actually welcome that, as would millions of his followers.

@@biffaozzie2373 Well, ... You've pretty well nailed it!
It's moved from long-term thinking, "Well, we can work with this, give a little, get a little, we can live with it"; to, "Tora, Tora, Tora, we'll take EVERYTHING, NOW!" Newt Gingrich started it rolling, and others (the misfits swaying the illiterate, unknowing, ignorant), saw the opportunities and became the spreaders of the mantra of the ultra-right wing, destroying anything and anyone of the previous republican party; and you thought Covid was deadly. Add a little religion, some violence from militias and white nationalists (all without any penalties), stir for a few years with a pacifistic, apathetic democratic party, and this is what you get.
With a little research, you can see just how similar this is to the 1930's, and those of us who are Baby Boomers and older, know how that turned out: www.pbs.org/show/rise-nazis/ , www.pbs.org/video/the-story-of-fascism-in-europe-pthanf/ , www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii/adolf-hitler-1 , www.metacafe.com/watch/1437970/the_bloody_history_of_fascism_1_16_wwwfreebookcenternet/ .

@@commonsense955 I’d be interested in your view as to where it went awry. I remember John Kennedy’s speech on going to the moon not cos it was easy, but because it was hard. (I was 8 years old, and totally in awe). At that time it seemed that the US could do anything- we just need to all work together, shoot for the moon (literally) and we can work miracles. And they did. But somewhere along the way, the politics of envy and greed, the distrust and ignorance of science due to the collapse of the education system, and the pernicious influence of evangelical christians has turned it all to dust. I mean, any nation that seriously debates whether creationism should be taught in science classes has seriously lost its way. America barely qualifies as a first world country on many levels - homicide rates, teen pregnancy, life expectancy, incarceration rates, wealth inequality, etc etc. Why did the American people let such a great country turn into such a mess?

I knew who the shooter was anyway because he was the last person to see me walking that route.
I just didn't want to tell the police until I confirmed it for myself. The next daylight, I went & told him about the shooting, to read his eyes.
He did it & later The Holy Spirit confirmed it.

      11. can't fake being hit with bullets & not be bleeding or even have any holes in my shirt where I took the punches to my body, during that shooting.
12.. Can't fake a police report of that shooting.
      13. Can't & won't fake a neighbor to call 911 & having a 911 call to report a shooting that happened in front of my home, but the confusion the cops face, when I finally got home & went in & back out the cops was outside. No holes or shells.
      14. I can't fake this stuff, so if you refuse knowledge, then that is on you.
      15. Can't fake creating some awesome projects that I believe are going to be unbelievable & no man can do stuff like this, it is & will be all GOD's works & it is important that I & we remember that too.

If you are an atheist than you hold to your beliefs and bring them into the arena of public discourse including politics and if you are a theist you bring your beliefs into the arena of public discourse including politics. To try and suspend a persons values and moral convictions from any institution is the height of bigotry and hypocrisy. No human being can suspend their sincere and genuine beliefs. It is astonishing at how many people utter the most illogical and contrary things while thinking themselves to be sophisticated and morally superior.

Religion has been protected and exhalted in America for so long that the line between truth and fiction is blurred and has spilled over from religion to other realms of our daily lives. Even some of the most liberal among us used to ask, what’s wrong with letting people believe what they want, as long as they aren’t harming others. Well the fact is is that they do harm others. Maybe there is nothing “wrong” with it but there are certainly consequences, and it is on full display.

I looked some of the specific people, I think he was referring to directly. They had impeccable credential, such as advanced college degrees, from Ivy League schools, distinguished military service. So I took from that, is for him and others, no matter what your accomplishments in life are, unless you like him, you are "human scum". That is positioning himself as God.
He cannot say that directly, because would be blasphemy to most Christians. However, if he is supposedly, going to 'save the world' from some "New World Order", they are giving him god-like powers. And so the fairy tale wish, however impossible to realize, is, nonetheless, propped up, at least, by the mutilated bodies of young men who know they can never actually be women.
I feel sorry for these boys and men, and have nothing against them. The only problem I have, much as you also have, is the legislating of a fairy-tale wish, then forcing the citizens of the United States of America to accept it. The reaction from some was just a bit scary.

Isn't it us who put feelings over facts when dealing with issues like illegal immigration and refugees? How can the party of Political Correctness now stand up and say "Fuck your feelings!"? It's really ironic to see how things turned out.
A lot of people on the left were called "snowflakes", and told that the facts didn't care about their feelings back in 2016.
Now in 2021, it's those former "snowflakes" calling these people out for refusing to accept an election, or that not every idea needs respect if it's crazy.

In satisfyingly related news, the second amendment doesn't actually say people have the right to OWN firearms, only to carry them if you're a member of an organized state militia. So if you're arguing for a more literal interpretation of the amendments, you're also calling for a ban on all privately owned guns. I'm sure that'll make you popular with the conservative crowd.
