I bought a 9 series, I cant believe how close it gets 99.9 percent as close as blade, cleaning station works very well. I have no complaints, highly recommend.

Damn those reviews on amazon must be fake :/. A lot of them are saying their $50 are better.
@@Trendnet18 It's hit on miss what works for you. I will say at least for my Braun Series 9 9296cc the heads breaking comments are true. Also, the shave isn't very good after 4 months. If there's a random long hair it doesn't cut it whatsoever and I have to do several passes in general. (read more on that in my other comment.)
As for the cleaning station..it's fairly, good does its job. There's no heating element so unless you live in a hot climate or it's summer that little drying fan is a gimmick. After the fan has stopped it still comes out wet. I have to take the head off and let it air dry or put it in the radiator it's winter. It also stops cleaning when the cartridge is half full.. Seems like a scam. The station eventually stopped draining, must be a block I cannot clear or something.
It's a decent enough shaver..but the head issue for me and others is ridiculous. The head section of the device eventually broke, discloated after owning since 29 December 2017. If the replacement heads/foil/whatever you want to call them didn't fail then, yes...it's an expensive but good enough buy.
Big Al ... I bought the 7 series and I love it. I shave my own head, but if I was local I would come in to your shop just to have you do it and hang out .. you're the coolest nicest truest bro on YT. Thanks Big Al!
This machine is my first electric shaver, I’ve ever had, and I have to say it works really, really well. Very close shave and very little irritation. Impressive.

After taking your advice i purchased the 9 and the whal has been collecting dust ever since... using it to shave my head every other day... i havent had to replace the head... and do a cleaning every 2 or 3 days... the pop up trimmer works great. Battery works great give it 👍🏼👍🏼 definitely a beast.

So my fading got it down. Chopping hair easy money... Was allmost 300 on amazon for the charger alone.. and see. It today for 200 with the basics chsrging. Soo excited to receive it tommorow. Owe a uno shaver was cool at first. Not even for a self cut id for me. Doesnt cut hair it even tuggs time to time. Thanks for the review cant wait to test the powder of it.

Was curious... your 9 had a chrome body and now I see that it has a matte grey body. What happened? My chrome 9 (9376cc) is still running great! But just a little after the warranty expired (2 years), the button came off. Probably because I kept putting it in "travel lock". I shipped it back to their repair store and got it back within a week, which was awesome! The total cost with shipping was $14.50, which isn't bad at all. Other than that, it's an EXCELLENT shaver! I've owned nothing but Braun shavers and the 9 is by far the BEST that I've ever had... HANDS DOWN! 🤩🥰
Same thing I used my first one for about 2 years and button came off . Still works I didn't fix it but I dud buy a new one . I use mine daily on ever single cut so it puts in its work . It really is best shave hands down .

I have the same too, I think you need to wait for another 4 years at least for your series 7 to break, they are built to really last.

Wow 14 mths without any issues. I loved the way my Series 9 shaves especially after a couple of days of not shaving. However I have had approx 5 in the last 2 yrs as they have all failed and always been the power button. It would go into travel lock when it should have stayed on. It is a fault with these and the series 5

I have had mine for for about 12mo and they work just like the day I got them! But mine are personal use. I have been using the babyliss for fades but highly considering picking up a second series 9

The power button on mine fell off after a few months. I sent it in and they replaced it under warranty. Otherwise, it's been perfect.

Would you be so kind as to explain how exactly do you clean this machine between uses. Do you use brush? If yes, which location do you clean with brush?
Do you clean inside the head, outer part?
Do you wash the head? How long? Do you remove the head and wash it inside and out? How do you dry the head! What about lubricating? How often do you use the clean station? May be it is a silly question , but do one need to clean preliminary the machine head from what is inside it before automatic cleaning process?
The reason I ask all this questions is because tomorrow I will receive 9376 cc model. It is my first Braun shaver.

Its pretty simple machine. I have air hose in my shop . I blow hair out of the head and use my wash basin to clean it. I also spray it with cool lube to disinfect in between clients. Thanks for watching .

Thank you for this review. Can I ask how you clean it between clients? Rinse under the tap and sterilsor spray maybe? I was thinking putting it in that cleaner after every client would be costly if it only lasts 21 cleans as another review stated
What I do I spray it with air hose and spray some disinfected on it. I place it on cleaning station only once a day. These machines last I still have money going on 3 years now .

I have another question: what about oil? do you have to lubricate the shaver on a daily basis? if you do, then how long does it last an oil bottle?? I am an engineer and I consider lubrication is a very important part of all mechanical devices. People think lubrication is secondary, but Actually oil is a very very very important aspect of all mechanical devices. Amazon again for the oil bottle? Can you use mineral oil?
I use mine everyday for the last 5 years. At least 10 times a day . I never oil mine . I spray them with disinfectant and use the charging bay cleaner. But I never oil mine . Its great shaver don't over think it youll love it .

Did you notice any kind of break-in period when you first started using it? I just received mine today and I’m not impressed, I had to use my Wahl five star finale to finish up the job and get as close as it does. (I did take my beard down to a stubble before shaving as I normally do when using my Wahl.)

This is an update on my previous comment on the Braun series 9. About 6 months or more on I now have two Braun 9 savers. One Chrome and the other Silver. I use them interchangeable and I always clean them via the cleaning station and a touch of cutting oil for maintenance purposes. Both are bought on Ebay for expensive deals around $100/£75 each. Basically one was purchased as a backup and I bought new heads for them too. I've had the 5 & 7 series (which I sold to buy the addition 9) but when It comes to speed and comfort the 9 series is indeed the best. The 5 & 7 are good tools but the 9 has that little bit extra in all around performance!

@@BigAlsShoppableReviews yes sir! It's been rated equal to the Braun but a closer shave. I had hoped to had a barber's view of both in a comparison. Nothing like a professionals review.
Glenn Brooks I would go arc 5, sometimes it goes on sale for $100, the only advantage that the series 9 has is that it mows longer hair a little faster, but the arc 5 shaves closer, but that also means it can irritate more depending on your skin.

I have Braun series 5 for 12 month I have not changed the head still cutting like new and I do bald fades all day long..

Had the series 7 and it broke after 2 months. The clip on the side where it allows you to move the head at an angle and lock it just fell off. Not made well at all. It was a close shave but then never had a foil shaver to compare it to. Couldn’t comment on the series 9 but if it breaks that easily no way would I pay 💰 that they are asking for. Might try the Babyliss Pro fx02 instead a lot cheaper
You must have got defective shaver. I have had my brsun 9 for 2.5 years....i use it daily. Good luck
My button fell off also.... After 7 years. They're built well. Must have gotten a defective model. Use the warranty.
