Having the dumpster on sight, the well used of the excavator, and family work, has made a ton of difference. Congratulations on all the achievements! Very happy for you.
An excavator will always be beneficial in your lives. I believe owning one should be a necessity as long as you continue on your current path - plus you should realize a tidy profit if-&-when you sell it. Watching Doug work with the excavator reminds me of a well rehearsed choreography. It's awesome how Ashley jumps in and tackles tasks. Although petite Ashley is fierce! Much admiration for Ashley. They are definitely a Dynamic Duo on every level.
Wow, I've been a fan of this DIY channel for over 2 years now and I couldn't be happier with their latest renovation project. I was worried when they finished their last house, but the new one is even better. Bell's art is amazing, her attention to detail when drawing really showcases her talent. Can't wait to see the transformation! Keep up the great work." 🔨
Doug, I love the way that you all help each other on your projects! It’s a great example to us all! It seems that todays “family units” are becoming more distant or separated from each other as a whole. Great job! Can’t wait to see what’s next!💕
I'm so glad this project is taking years to complete. I will miss watching the progress when it is done. Because I like tidy, this video was so satisfying to watch. Doug, you must get a lot of splinters in your hands because we rarely see gloves on them. Take care.
Being a functional depressive, the simple task of getting things cleaned up and in some semblance of order relieves so much low grade stress in my life. Unfortunately, these tasks can get delayed and can become overwhelming if not taken care of. I know that all these on camera successes and accomplishments can sometimes be blunted by having this mess in the background. You guys are great, hard working and determined, in keeping focused and getting things done. Blessings to you both, Belle, and Maverick.
You never know how much trash you have until you get a dumpster and fill it. Good job cleaning everything up. Be careful there might still be glass and nails. Stay safe and God bless
It was a great move to remove the trampoline from your back porch. Now you will be able to see the beauty of the Natural Habitat of the Florida Wildlife and Fauna. If your porch is in the Westside of the house, you will be able to see the Sunset. If not and it's in the East, you be seeing the Sunrise instead. Either way its breathtaking to see. Love watching your videos and seeing how your beautiful homestead is all coming together. To have a stream and a pond on your property is a plus. Watching Ashely and her daughter kayaking around in the pond and stream was just a sight to see. You guys look so happy especially Ashley. Respect and praise on your build and family from an Osceola County, Florida resident. Looking forward to another of your great videos.
You never cease to amaze me. Seemingly boundless energy all the while raising 2 kiddos and saving wildlife one creature at a time! (Thank you for that!). Your house already looks so beautiful and anyone looking at it can tell it’s a loved home. You are going to love that covered porch. For years I dreamt of having one and after living here for 17 or 18 years I was finally able to afford having one built. I needed to have the roof altered otherwise the porch roof would gave sloped too low. The porch I had put on is long with steps from my front door going down into the yard and the opposite end steps going off the side end into driveway. I designed it and found a builder. 20 years now and that porch is enjoyed so much! Thank you for taking the time out of your very busy day to video and edit these for not only our entertainment but also our inspiration!
Good for you, Ash! I was worried when I saw the lizard being scooped up with the debris, but should have known that he was in safe hands. It must be such a relief to you all to have all of that rubbish cleared. Great job.👍🏼👏🏼
That was amazing. Watching you'll work so hard is the perfect thing to do while meal prepping & vegetable chopping. Your place is shaping up nicely. Thanks for taking us along for the ride🙋🏻♀️
I didn't realize what a mountain of debris you had to clean up. Even if you couldn't fit more in the dumpster, you got your money's worth! What a blessing the stuff like that can just be put in a container and handed off to someone else to deal with!!! I think people used to have to bury it on their property in the old days. Cleaning up around our yard we found 12 or so slate stepping stones that a previous owner had buried. Luckily for us they were useful "debris". So glad you think the wood siding is in good shape! Must feel great to see your property cleaned up again. Enjoy what you have accomplished!!!
Excellant progress. I was watching Doug pick up those windows and the cleanup and I could just hear an old boss asking me, why did you not tape the glass before you took that window out, I could not help but smile at that memory.
You accomplished so much and you must be chuffed that you could clean up the property a lot. It's going to be so nice when its all finished and you can sit on the porch and enjoy the view of the trees and garden. I can just imagine you planting some new plants and flowers later on and enjoying the garden view in the years to come. Love watching the process of you gradually getting to everything in the restoration of the house. Greetings from Japan.
Old vinyl siding to remove? No problem with Beast mode Doug around lol 🤣. Great job as always. Getting all that trash out of the way had to feel rewarding. The backyard view from the porch will be so relaxing. Thanks for sharing the adventure remodeling your home. Your family rocks. 😊
Can you imagine the fear people of long ago would feel to see that crunching monster attack that pile of debris ! It must have felt very good to see the back of that junk pile , you are so good about keeping your work area clean .
Wow, what a great episode. What is it about watching people get rid of rubbish that is so appealing. I love it, and you seem to be enjoying yourselves. I enjoy it, sitting here with a cup of tea watching you. It's great. Best wishes, family Ann xx
That machine has paid for itself. Using a dumpster is a great way to remove debris. It looks like you are peeling your siding like a banana. Great clean up everyone!!😊
You’re right, that’s was crunchy for sure, and I loved watching it. That excavator is the biggest and best toy you’ve ever had, I think. This would have to be my forever home. I don’t think I could leave behind all the wonderful changes you’ve made. And the kids are building memories too.
Each project you’ve completed has improved the appearance of your home, but removing the debris and the vinyl siding definitely made an improvement. I’m looking forward to watching your future videos.
Yep you’re the hardest working family! I’m happy for you guys. I know you guys will find it much easier to work now the pills of trash are gone. Great job 👏
Tearing off siding & filling the dumpster -. Great fun today 🎉. It’s satisfying to get the yard cleaned up 👍. This house is getting closer and closer …. ❤
I’m 77 and I have been following y’all since y’all were remolding the double wide trailer and may I say what an excellent job y’all did. I love y’all as a family and I love to watch y’all’s videos. Be safe
Such a great video Doug and Ashley. It was so rewarding to see the pile of rubble gone from your yard. It’s coming along great! I love that Ashley is saving Gods little creatures. ❤
I know you both were so happy to get all that trash cleaned up and thrown away. I remember when we ordered a trash bin for our property, I told my husband that it'll be filled up fast and it will fill all the way to the top, lol. He didn't believe me until he started filling it up. Then he was hoping that we didn't have to get another one. He eventually placed everything in the bin and we didn't have to get another bin. It's good that you have family members to help you along with the 🚜. Good job everyone!!!
I've been waiting for this! The land is looking so good! I can see how one project on the house affects another so it's hard not to jump from here to there but you all are doing a great job! I get excited for every video so keep up the good work and blessings from Tennessee
WOW !! I am amazed at how you two managed to pull all that siding off. Such a chore. Oh, to be young again!! Great work. Belle is changing so much from the early videos. She is a lovely young lady.
Must feel great to clear all that demolition debris. So nice to have that clear view to the pond! It’s too bad the people that delivered the dumpster didn’t open the tailgate for you so you can stack the debris more efficiently, but looks like you manage to do it regardless. Nice!
Yep, it feels so good to have that heap gone! We could've opened the dumpster door, but since we loaded it with the excavator we left it shut. When we load dumpsters by hand we use the door.
Awesome. You are getting it done. It may not be in the order everyone thinks . I just think it's amazing. Ashley has that smile on her face.. one happy woman.
The excavator has been a boon. Certainly money well spent. Fascinating to see there used to be shutters on the windows. It looks so much better being back to the wood again. Looking forward to seeing what you've got planned for the future of the outside part, but all in it's own good time.
It’s soooo satisfying watching you all pull that vinyl siding off. The wood looks great underneath. It’s in vogue now to maintain and keep real wood. Our house have painted cedar siding and we love it.
You deserve some celebration. The yard looks amazing and so wide open compared to the jungle you started with. And getting that siding off must just feel wonderful. Well done!
I am so happy you have that excavator, it sure helped getting this clean up done faster. The property looks so much better. I'll bet it makes y'all feel better too. Thanks for sharing the clean up and the tearing off of the siding with us. Time for a break now. Have a Blessed day.
Hi Doug n Ashley, Gosh I didn’t get this video In my Notification and I was like 😳😳😳 Oh heck no, so glad it popped up today though! Wow guys you really have done an awesome job on the siding and clean up. It all looks absolutely fantastic! Oh how I love your longer videos, but I’ll take what I can get for sure,,,one of my favorite videos when demo is going on lol. Naw, all of your videos is my favorite ❤ Have a glorious week and until next time May God Bless y’all.
Looks so much better now that the yard is cleaned up. Looks much more spacious, that vinyl came of fairly easy by the looks of it. Good clean up guys, well.done
It looks great! I love seeing the progress. Y'all do a marvelous job. In no way criticizing you, I just have to tell you a story. My parents were born during the Great Depression and their parents had to be thrifty. My parents then taught me some things and now we have two more succeeding generations. But with each generation you can tell the difference when it comes to being thrifty and saving stuff. For instance, I remember my Dad saving everything. Bricks (he would tear down a chimney, knock off the mortar and stack the bricks for re-use), any good wood, knocking out the nails and straightening the nails if they could be re-used. He saved anything that was worth saving. Not a hoarder or keeping trash but if it had good use then he saved it. When he died a few years ago, he had a huge 2 story shop with attached sheds full of stuff he saved in case he needed it. Old doors, hinges, door knobs, outlets/covers, stacks of wood, plumbing pipes, etc. Heck, when he built his house, he didn't have to buy much! When it came to my generation, we remembered how Mom and Dad saved stuff. So when it came time to build our own houses, we also looked for salvaged stuff and tried to be careful but not nearly saving stuff like Dad did. I was more practical than thrifty and didn't want to have to find a way to store old stuff we may or may not use. The generation after us learned how to make do when they had to but haven't had to with everything so ready at hand at hardware stores and big box stores and it used to be reasonably priced. Now our grands are starting to be teenagers and things have totally switched again. With all the building affecting supplies, and the high prices for low quality products, they may be wishing they had my Dad's shop full of stuff to pick from when it comes time to do their own houses. Most of the two generations after me never knew deprivation, sacrifice or doing it themselves (ours did, you did, but I mean most young people, not all) and certainly not how to re-use but they are going to have to learn. Our house, my husband, Dad and bils hand hammered every single nail. No nail guns. We had a brick floor and my Dad laid the brick using bricks he had salvaged. I love a brick floor. It's indestructible. Just be sure to use the right sealer (and it has to be right or you ruin your brick floor) on it every couple of years and it's easy to clean and indestructible. Anyway, I know you can appreciate what I'm saying. You are teaching your children, whether you realize it or not, they are watching you, and they are learning invaluable lessons that will drift through following generations!
Sharon you are so correct. My grandparents did this also then my parent's it's generation after generation if your taught or see this growing up. My grandfather built his home one nail at a time. One Brick at a time. Beautiful home. My dad would say many times how tools had changed. My parent's built 31 homes over their life time. I fill blessed to have been able to watch my grandparents and my parent's do all this I learned so much.
Looking good..........love to see the wood under. Dad and Mom had that on our home in Omaha when I was small and to paint it dad had to take an old blow torch and burn off all the old paint, scrape each piece of wood with the scraper. Took weeks and what a task. It looked beautiful when! Years ago! LOL Looking good and love watching you use the excavator. I love that little machine as you know. Ours is worth it's weight in gold and with property we will never give it up. Everything looks great and I can only imagine when you get it done to your looking. What a team.............love it when I see you post! Blessings
You and your family are an inspiration to many who wonder "If they can" do things....your dreams are coming true and your work ethic is admirable and encouraging to see in action! Many blessings!
Wow, with all the open space on the property, it is much better than when you moved into the house. The wood on the exterior will need some work, but it has the potential to look great.
Awesome work as always! I love Ashley's haircut. It looks so nice on her. The backyard looks amazing too it's going to be so nice to sit on the back porch and look at that view!
This channel has been quite a boon for procrastinators such as myself. I realized we all have an inner productivity dog and once that dog catches the scent, watch out. My inner dog, though not as well trained as Doug and Ashley's, is coming along. I'm solo and have a small house. I got a lot of work done in 3 rooms in 3 months. So, contrary to the usual saying "Do get those (inner) dogs barking".
Boy you made quick work of that siding, well done. The yard looks so much better now that the junk is gone and it was good to see Bell right in there with the two of you helping with the clean up. C U on the next one.
And just like that the remains of the last 18 months is gone. I guess because I’m watching (like others) one video at a time I forget just how much work has been done. Then the clean up comes and it’s almost mind blowing. I don’t think Ashley meant that a a challenge Doug but taking on challenges is always a character builder. Simply amazed at all of it.
Having the dumpster on sight, the well used of the excavator, and family work, has made a ton of difference. Congratulations on all the achievements! Very happy for you.
You two are certainly etting your money's worth out of your new machine , it picks up the trash so easily , makes life a bit easier for you.
An excavator will always be beneficial in your lives. I've never known a family work so hard......you can be sure that whatever you do with the outside of the house it will look awesome.

My face lights up when I turn on TH-cam and I see a new video from DIY !!! 😍
Doug, I love the way that you all help each other on your projects! It’s a great example to us all! It seems that todays “family units” are becoming more distant or separated from each other as a whole. Great job! Can’t wait to see what’s next!💕
Ashley's new hair cut looks great. She looks Like a brand new person.
Ashley and Belle look like sisters! Great job. You get so much done at one time.
You all work so hard. But I’ve watched your channel for sometime now and know the wonderful results you make your homes into. Take time to rest.
I'm so glad this project is taking years to complete. I will miss watching the progress when it is done. Because I like tidy, this video was so satisfying to watch. Doug, you must get a lot of splinters in your hands because we rarely see gloves on them. Take care.
Where there's a will, there's a way.
You and Ashley show us that in every video. Great teamwork!

I've always loved the dumpster videos, such a sense of accomplishment when all the debris is hauled off.
What a gorgeous day you picked for a clean up. I do think working shutters would be nice a nice touch to your home in the end again.
Looks so good!! Thank you Lord for the excavator. What a time saver! Go Ashley! (Keeping the burn pile going). I love watching your progress. ❤
That was amazing. Watching you'll work so hard is the perfect thing to do while meal prepping & vegetable chopping. Your place is shaping up nicely. Thanks for taking us along for the ride🙋🏻♀️
"Well we got a lot done." That is an UNDERSTATEMENT!
The new pillars look great! I love seeing the vinyl siding coming off... It makes me happy for the house 🏡.
I love that you and you kids respect life and treat the insects, spiders, snakes, lizards and everything else humanely. 🙏❤️
Yes it’s always amazing how fast dumpsters fill up
Ashley, I like your Garfield shirt. And your shorter hair is truly cute and very becoming. Lot of great work today you two. God bless you and family.

Nothing better than a mobile scaffolding!! Yard looks great Mr Doug & Ms Ashley!! So much room!
Yep! Oasis is multi-functional :)
@@diyfferent definitely a great purchase
YAY!!! Ashley saves the day for the LIZARD!!!!
The clean up is as satisfying as the remodel. I enjoy seeing this all coming together! 😍

WOW, that excavator has really earned its keep, wish I could say the same about Stan!
Can you imagine the fear people of long ago would feel to see that crunching monster attack that pile of debris ! It must have felt very good to see the back of that junk pile , you are so good about keeping your work area clean .
Good morning!!!!!! So happy to see this as I'm lazily drinking coffee this Saturday morning 🌞
When you work hard, I feel like I accomplished something
Wow, what a great episode. What is it about watching people get rid of rubbish that is so appealing. I love it, and you seem to be enjoying yourselves. I enjoy it, sitting here with a cup of tea watching you. It's great.
Best wishes, family

Good on you, Ashley, for wearing work gloves and for saving the lizard. 🦎
That machine has paid for itself. Using a dumpster is a great way to remove debris. It looks like you are peeling your siding like a banana. Great clean up everyone!!😊
Doug, you are ace at demolition.
You’re right, that’s was crunchy for sure, and I loved watching it. That excavator is the biggest and best toy you’ve ever had, I think. This would have to be my forever home. I don’t think I could leave behind all the wonderful changes you’ve made. And the kids are building memories too.
Clean up always puts things back into perspective.
Each project you’ve completed has improved the appearance of your home, but removing the debris and the vinyl siding definitely made an improvement. I’m looking forward to watching your future videos.
That excavator is worth every penny you spent on it. Looking good!
Y'all are hard workers. By the way I love Ashley's hair. She looks so cute.
Yep you’re the hardest working family! I’m happy for you guys. I know you guys will find it much easier to work now the pills of trash are gone. Great job 👏
That excavator was worth every penny and more. Clean up day is so satisfying at the end of it. Lookin great, folks!
This video was so satisfying to watch. I enjoy seeing things getting neat and tidy. Be blessed.
What a relief to have all that junk out of the way and what a great view out into the backyard. Great job 👍👏
Tearing off siding & filling the dumpster -. Great fun today 🎉. It’s satisfying to get the yard cleaned up 👍. This house is getting closer and closer …. ❤

❤️
I bet that was so satisfying to see the mess gone.
Looking good..........love to see the wood under. Dad and Mom had that on our home in Omaha when I was small and to paint it dad had to take an old blow torch and burn off all the old paint, scrape each piece of wood with the scraper. Took weeks and what a task. It looked beautiful when! Years ago! LOL
Looking good and love watching you use the excavator.
That sure was satisfying to watch. Good job!
You have come so far , it's been fun to watch the progress, the improvements have been stellar, as always.
I could watch you all everyday….❤️
I loved it when she said cant get that in here and you said i accept that challenge(pause) I think! Lol love the content by far my favorite channel
What workers you are! Property is looking great.
Good job, looks good ,you two are great thanks for taking me along
I like the view of the trees out back.
Another great job done. The progress is fantastic. Slow but sure will win this race. Such a good family effort again.
I think you are all doing an amazing job. Best wishes to you from 🇬🇧. I’m loving this new chapter in your lives.
It’s looking better every day!❤️
And just like that the remains of the last 18 months is gone. I guess because I’m watching (like others) one video at a time I forget just how much work has been done. Then the clean up comes and it’s almost mind blowing. I don’t think Ashley meant that a a challenge Doug but taking on challenges is always a character builder. Simply amazed at all of it.
