Fil, they do have a definitive sound in many ways, since Axl’s vocals are unique and slash’s guitar tone is very distinctive. In this song I love Slash’s guitar parts…his guitar is just singing here. @@sonjacarlyle5341 Jeff beck is a legend and has to be put higher. He can play so many different genres and he’s from an earlier era and inspired many later guitarists. Guitar purists may not think so highly of Slash but to me he has carved out his place. You just know it’s slash as soon as you hear it and I prefer Slash’s genre and style.

Both Estranged & November Rain are long songs. Both songs are awesome. Most GnR songs are not as long, although they do have one longer song, by the name of Coma (also an awesome song). I never tire of GnR's music, they are great :) Axl wrote Estranged when his marriage to Erin Everly, fell apart. Their whole relationship was toxic.
