I have ocd , mostly the hoarding kind, it has affected my life extremely. I feel like ocd should be talked about more because it is very misunderstood. Like it is not a funny quirky thing, it is time, space, physical energy and mental energy consuming. I had counting things, i have set extreme sleep schedules, i have taken 30k + screenshots/pictures of certain things , i finally got myself to delete 25k pictures, but they are adding up a bit again. but the thing that affected me the most was hoarding. I feel like ocd hoarding just gets skipped over in any of these kinds of videos. It is so time and space consuming, and the objects i was hoarding were almost anything random, like for example popsicle sticks ect. I have finally managed to not hoard anymore but it sometimes still affects me. It took over 2 years to just find a coping mechanism to stop the hoarding and the pictures hoarding.
So basically ocd is horrible for me it is like it just basically bullies you for not doing something that wouldn’t affect anything anyways but you feel guilty for not doing it anyways. I am ashamed of my ocd , i don’t like having to fight with myself, but atleast it is getting better so i am proud of myself kinda
Also i would prefer people not complimenting me or anything. This comment is to spread awareness about the lesser known variations of ocd that aren’t mentioned enough.

Things like someone saying "Hey" outside my line of sight or a small noise is enough to make me jump
Autism is too big of a spectrum, aspergers is apart of that spectrum, alzheimers is a terminal illness, and depression is just a mood disorder that everyone goes through at some point
The mental changes caused by Alzheimer’s is because Alzheimer’s degrades your brain. Search up an image of a regular brain and a brain with Alzheimer’s and you’ll see what I mean.
Disorders Go! Gotta Catch ‘em All! (I have half of these, yes I’m fully diagnosed with them, yes I did do self diagnosing before because that literally how you get a diagnosis)
1:13 it happens a lot less now but when i was younger when i would look at people i would just see their heads shrink, has this happened to anyone else?
Idk if this is a disorder but if it is pls tell me , anyway heres a exmaple .. theres a pile of books on the floor , and something in my head is urging me to ‘clean that pile of books on the floor and then search the floor for more books to clean’ and then im like ‘imma do it later’ but if i dont do it feel like something is trying to pull me towards it ( i think the word is urges? ) and like theres just this feeling in me i cant handle , like when your stressed for your first day of school but 10 times worse , and then my brain feels like its gonna explode, so i just end up doing it , and when im done im very much satisfied and like sll the weight has been lifting of me..
That happens to everyone (I THINK) but it’s called procrastination you procrastinate doing something till in urgency needs to be done or till it gets worse to where you can’t handle it anymore, and I think it’s common for people with adhd so if you relate to some of the listed adhd symptoms you should get that diagnosed and get medication for that which will also help with your procrastination I think but ask a doctor not me lol
If you don’t self diagnose to start with, you can’t do any to help yourself. Being diagnosed takes lots of money and time and many people don’t have that. Without proper research, people shouldn’t self diagnose. If you’ve done tons of research on this (I don’t just mean looking up stuff for an hour, I mean a few hundred hours of reaserch), it’s healthy to self diagnose. It’s also helpful to reach out to people who have the thing you suspect you have. Self diagnosis is completely valid. I say this as someone who is diagnosed with inattentive ADHD.
@@thebiggestmaraudersfan I also mean for people who will see like- one of these things, for example ADHD, as I have it diagnosed by a doctor, they will see the symptoms, maybe one or two and say they have it. If you do a couple hundred hours of diagnosing, it’s still possible you may not have the disorder. it’s always even more healthy to go to a doctor first. I completely understand your point tho
i feel like i have *kind of* bad ocd. like im sure everyone has it in some way, shape, or form, but i always have the need to tense specific muscles like my neck, shoulders, and wrists. i also heavily bite my nails, have the need to do something with my throat that makes some kind of squeaking sound, and to blink a lot because of tiredness in my eyes. it normally gets really bad by stress which also triggers a lot of fidgeting for me. i hate it, because when i don’t do it, it feels really uncomfortable. i wish it would go away.

I think that purely native mental disorders shouldn't be mentioned, as they are that much less common.
@@Splooply OK TY
With this video i discovered my sexual problem is,in fact,a desorder. Thanks for that, bro.
Jumping Frenchmen is just what the girls in my class have lol
why are people self diagnosing? that’s gross
I completely understand your point tho

i feel like i have *kind of* bad ocd. like im sure everyone has it in some way, shape, or form, but i always have the need to tense specific muscles like my neck, shoulders, and wrists. i also heavily bite my nails, have the need to do something with my throat that makes some kind of squeaking sound, and to blink a lot because of tiredness in my eyes. it normally gets really bad by stress which also triggers a lot of fidgeting for me. i hate it, because when i don’t do it, it feels really uncomfortable. i wish it would go away.
i got adhd and i hate it
