PRINCE was a master musician, an incredible songwriter, a brilliant performer and inspiring mentor but he was also a magnificent band leader. He truly is the greatest of all time.👑💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🕊️ There is truly no one compared or even close to him. No matter what anyone says about him or the stories that are being told since his passing PRINCE’s talent was god given and he was lit every time.🙌🏽

Yeah I know the feeling, saw him in Stockholm at an outdoor festival 2009 in August. He was the last performance and was ending the festival. He was late for over an hour, and meantime purple confetti was shooting out over the audience for all that time while prince music was playing. Than we saw a boat coming and there he was the little man with the big voice and a genius on guitar and piano ;). So suddenly he appears on stage , audience were wild, applause wouldn't stop and he hadn't played a note, it was so freaking amazing and lovely and then he kicked off the show, and what a show, i got goosebumps thinking about it. He played for almost 3 hours. And came onto stage again 2 more times , playing 20 more songs. Fucking unbelievable consert and a memory for life ;)

I remember seeing Prince Live WAAAAY back in '79 at the Bijou Cafe in Philly. It was my freshman year of high school and we actually rode our bikes in the middle of winter to try and get in. Of course we didn't but we stood by the stage door. I remember watching watching Dez, Bobby Z and Andre all walk past us. Prince was already inside. But the crazy thing was that this dude was standing by the stage right next to us. He was dressed to the MAX!!!! Kept clowning us because we were freezing but him it was a Spring Day. Flash forward to my senior year '82 we saw Prince again at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby during the Controversy tour. That same dude was opening for Prince. It was Morris Day!!! He actually remembered us but couldn't clown since we were driving at that point.
Prince the Musician, Artist and Human Being has gotten me through some bad times. Even as a march towards my 60's outside of a handful of artist Prince is still at the top of my playlist.

It breaks my heart to hear you never got to see him live. Having seen him 12 times I can testify to the fact he gave everything whilst on stage ! It was like he transcend the genius artist we all know from his recorded work and became something greater.

It's very satisfying to see that I wasn't the only person who had their socks blown off by this performance. How can anyone NOT get funky when they listen to this??

I’ve watched 6 or 7 people critique this performance … but your reaction makes it seem like I’m reliving it again!
As a Prince fanatic of close to 50 years your appreciation of his genius eases the pain (somewhat) of his leaving!
You may not have seen him perform in person live, but he left you SO MUCH music to enjoy!
Fasten your seatbelts and take this purple ride! 🤗💜
    Blessings ❤️🙏🏽
    I’ll be watching!

And this is one of the many reasons that he’s my favorite live performer. You can’t beat his energy that he and his band were supplying. I was fortunate to see him perform live 4 different times.Nobody can copy his style. He can do them but they can’t do him if that makes sense.
He always has great crowd participation at his shows. My 1st concert of his I went to was back in 97. It was Larry Graham who opened, then Chaka Kahn, and then the man himself. 3 legends at 1 show and they all killed it.

First let me say, I just found your channel and I love it!!! Now on to the man,,, Prince was such a larger than life angel put on this earth for a short while to give us his gift of music. He is the only man who can dress the way he did and it looked fantastic. Such a sexy man to top it all off. Yes I am a Prince Lover. If you want to watch another more performances he did song after the Batman songs, called Party Man. One of my favourites. He also did a crazy performance on the Arsenio Hall show!! I think Patti Labelle co hosted it. You need to watch these. You will NOT be disappointed. I promise.
Thank You so much for your reactions. You are a beautiful soul..🥰🥰🥰

I always recommend people watch these live Prince clips twice and the second time, try to focus on the crowd and see how much fun they’re having. Somebody said when he passed, “nobody ever went to a Prince concert, looked around and said ‘I don’t belong here’” and that’s the truth. It was always just all kinds of people having fun.

If seen some of the best in concert. Pink Floyd Paige and plant Metallica guns and roses the stones billy Joel with Elton John just to name a few. Prince by far was the best show I ever saw. I may like the music of the others more but the performance and entertainment level from prince is unbelievable

An exceptional guitarist. Very under r
Rated. I've seen Jimi Hendrix live in 68, Hendrix like prince a guitar is not an instrument to them it's another extension of their body.
Prince decided to become a musician when his father brought him back stage at a James Brown show, when he was a kid. When he seen all the beautiful girls backstage he decided this is what he wanted to do.
This is very much Sly &the family Stone
