Im going to Japan for the first time in October, Pokemon card hunting is a big goal when we are there and youre videos have been super helpful!!! Love to see more and love to see more tips/advice from you. 🎉
In the same buuilding as Otachu on the top floor there is also a Pokemon shop (PDG Collector's Shop) that has loads of collectable items. Almost like a museum. Worth a vist next time you are in that building. Likewise there is a vinatge / old back pokemon shop on the 4th floor that has an ok selection of cards.
Hello! Thank you so much for your information, I am travelling to Japan at the end of the month and was researching the best Pokémon card shops in the area. I will be staying in Akihabara so I will make sure to find all of these places. Will continue to follow your videos on TH-cam 🎉😊
Love vintage. That 550 💴 binder was great for someone like me that’s doesn’t care too much about the quality and wants to collect all the cards that bring back memories. What stores besides the one in the video usually carry these vintage binder deals?
Love your video as always! Did you know that the Sabrina's Gengar was banned in English? It was eventually released but they had to make the background darker so you couldn't see the tomb stones! I believe it was considered evil! Personally I love the original! Also, if I may ask, where do I get more information on vending stickers? I recently purchased 18 of them but am having a very hard time getting information on them. Thank you far another very fun video!
Yes, I know Saburina's Gengar was banned in abroad. Some cards is famous for banned card, right?😊 When it comes to vending stickers, definitely Akihabara store is the best! I hardly seen such a amount of vending stickers in Japan😅But I will try to search!
do mostly of the shops sell the cards on the walls? or do they all have also bulk boxes or binder the check the cheaper cards or vintage cards with a bad condition?
I heard prices are better in ikebukuro, I only have one place I can go when I visit Japan. Either Akihabara or ikebukuro, do you think the prices are drastically different in both of these places? Or are they somewhat the same? Are card super expensive to buy in both places? Ty ❤️
So nice that you left the Google maps links in description👌🏻 will check out otachu soon, thank you

550 yen binder was a steal! I visted japan only a year ago and I'm already desperate to get back for more of these shopping sprees! Aha
Yeah! They were bend, and some scratches but price were insane!
Wow, vintage cards are really cheap in Japan! Btw how much was the mewtwo bandai cardass? (3:59)
Oh no!! I can't see the price! Sorry, I will check other stores price!
@@annajapananime No, its ok :D, I was just curious because I'm thinking of buying it but I want to know the price first.
I just come across your channel and love the content. The first shop you went too seemed kinda expensive! Nice pickups though love that Dragonite!
Thank you so much! Yeah, Akihabara is sometimes expensive😅
Thank you so much for making this video , i felt bad wheb you dropped your cards that you purchased. Ive subscibed ! Have a great day!
Ahh yes, I dropped one card😅😂

Yes!!! Definitely😅
😮
i would be carefull with aoi no blue music for copyright strikes
do mostly of the shops sell the cards on the walls? or do they all have also bulk boxes or binder the check the cheaper cards or vintage cards with a bad condition?
Well, I think both! I think there are many cases where cards are put on the wall and sold!
I heard prices are better in ikebukuro, I only have one place I can go when I visit Japan. Either Akihabara or ikebukuro, do you think the prices are drastically different in both of these places? Or are they somewhat the same? Are card super expensive to buy in both places? Ty ❤️
Yes, I feel Ikebukuro is much more local prices! Speaking of Akihabara, that area is said to a travellers price😅
Hello! I’m heading to Tokyo in June, do you know any Pokémon card shops outside of akihabara? Thank you !
Welcome welcome!!! I think Nakano, Ikebukuro, Yokohama has a lot of trading card stores:)
Nice video thank you !!! Where is the best place for you to buy pokemon cards in tokyo ? You say Akihabara is maybe too expensive ?
I think so. Akihabara is known for travelers price😅 But Iwamoto-Cho station(next to Akihabara) was good price for me:)
Are prices ever negotiable in these stores?
No never. In Japan, there is not much of a culture of negotiating with retailers😅
Hello. What about ikebukuro or other stations?
Yes, Ikebukuro is also good! For others, Yokohama, Tachikawa stations are also good!
@@annajapananime i need the best shops for vintage with most rare and expensive cards... Do you know where?
@@annajapananime super rare vintage promo cards and sets
@@bromba9921 If you want to buy the most expensive cards, Card Rush, Hareruya2, Surugaya, Magi in Akihabara is carrying high-valued cards!
I know all akhiabara unluckily...
Why do these stores never give Toploaders when u buy the cards? Seems really risky to me. Toploaders are like 10 Cents each.
Yes, that's true...
I always have a dozen of my top loaders with me when I go shopping😅
what makes me wonder, is how exactly how much vintage Japanese is out there.
I have doubts too. It's a wonder why so many vintage products are always available for sale🥸
Marry me 😂
頑張って
ありがとう:)
takai des nee
確かに、一部のカードは少し高かった気がします😅
