What would you buy as a investment with 100,000 yen? Im going to japan 2025 summer holiday, and Im not sure what cards, or booster boxes to pick up as a long term investment. Can you give me some advice on what to buy? booster box cartons? lucario vstar hr prize promo psa 10? vmax alternate art psa 10? theres so much but I cant make my mind at all...

So far in Japan, how much has the prices dropped? In the USA, I haven’t seen any price drops but obviously it will take longer to see the effects in the western market.

Saying there is a reprint today (the 26th) is a bit misleading. You can’t order boxes online and stores are running a lottery for buying a single box. I feel like if you are going to talk about this subject you should mention how people in Japan can actually get ahold of reprints.

Best cards are the cheapest. A lot of just “ok”, not great cards 😅

So when should I go shopping to find cards? The 26th or a couple of days after that? Unsure if shops are getting their deliveries on the 26th or that is just when the factories are printing the cards. Ty for the info!

yes i assume they reprinted in December, because I preordered 5 boxes on Pokemon Center Online, but I received an email saying that those who preordered on the last few days will only ship out mid-December... i preordered on the 4th and it shipped out only on the 18th :) edit: by the way, do you think 151 will still get reprinted?
