There's forgot password? But.....after you click that then they give you the option to send you the code, after that there is no create new password option. That is the problem! When you do your phone verification it just loges you in, it doesn't give you a change password option.
There should be an option to change password, it may be in small print.

If you don't have the recovery options, you can't recover the account. If it was "hacked" you can attempt to get a hold of Yahoo.

It works on your pc however when you try to password on your phone or tablet it says invalid. Please post a yahoo password change that works over all devices.

You won't. They moved to the automated service and no one watches that email address. They have stated if you do not have the recovery questions answers, they will not help with the account.

Log into the account, go into settings & change the password. That should take care of it.

Ahh no it does not work for a damn. Just auto signs me in. I turned off the stupid key and it just sends a text and I go through the settings and only let's me generate a temp password. Non of this works Oct 23 2021. I am done with Yahoo and all this added dumb shit.
