- Let's show you how to recover your Yahoo password without the email address or phone number.
In this video, I walk you through the steps to recover your yahoo account without having a backup email or a phone number. First, go to yahoo.com. In the top right click on Sign In and then enter your email address. Then click on Forget Password. Click on "I need more options" and then click on "Call premium customer care". Call the number provided and then provide the code given. You'll then be able to enter your account and change your password.

Hi Ryan, thank you for your tutorial. However it did not work on mind. I dialed that customer service number several time, and the agents keeps asking me for US Card/Address which I don't have as I live in New Zealand. And they say they could not help me on my issues. It's such a scam. They made me send pictures of my ID then wouldn't help me unless I pay $8.99 which I refuse to do. Whole process seemed very shady.

To those who say the link goes to a Chinese-language page, or that you are asked to prove who you are with your Driver's License number: That is probably a hacked account, and the "customer service" phishing for financial information! We don't know the person who made this video is not part of a scam, do we? Otherwise why not warning about this being for paid account-holders only?

I am not given the "forgot password" option. It automatically sends a verification code to the email address that I can't access. I got to the point where I could send it to my backup email and I still do not receive the code. I'm not willing to pay $5 a month for their customer service. Any help?
Apparently this is for paid accounts only. Yahoo locks me out of my free account periodically, with the only way to recover the password being to have a password reset link sent into the very e-mail account I am trying to get into, !@@#$%! It seems most likely to be a coercive marketing ploy.

Ok I did that. I called a woman who I could hardly understand due to Indian accent. I waited, waited and she said simply Scan and send your driver's license to verify your account. I said "no". She then said ok ok wait, wait wait and lots of other questions like the names of the folders in my account. then she said I'll need your credit card for 12.99 a month for a no contract service. I said I don't want a year contract etc etc and she went on and on and on and on about the benefits of this and "give me your credit card number". NO!

Except of course the phone number will only work for premium (read: paying) customers, not plebs n proles like the great majority of us. Also, it says US credit/debit card, which excludes pretty much the rest of the world. And even if I had a US payment card, there's no way in hey that I'm giving my full card details over the phone, or however they imagine they'll be collecting payment.
Once we change our phone then it's impossible to recover yahoo mail.

My account was hacked! I tried the "great customer service" but after offering to send me 2X their text message to scan my driver license unsuccessfully- they now say I did not pass security verification !! I am locked out of any further attempts . Now, they say I have to let my email account REST a couple of days!??? Meanwhile , this email is linked to everything for me to be able to function

Are you saying once logged in we can't actually look up our own password that we are actually using? nobody covers that, I imagine is because nobody knows how.
Yea, Yahoo will never tell you your password or show you your password. That's common among websites/platforms as it's a security risk. Your best bet is to go to a web browser or your phone's passwords and look for it in there.
@@TrevorNace I found a way to do it, just go into 'manage passwords' and you will see it displayed there.
