- Hey girls! Today we're going to tackle this question: How do you hear God's voice? I've hesitated to make this video, simply because God is so big and so far outside of any box we try to put Him in, so who am I to say how to hear from Him? I think it looks differently for everyone. For about 7 years I've been distanced from christianity because there were and still are some very closed minded people in my church. People that made me think that all christians were very narrow minded and loud about their beliefs. I started watching your videos a couple of months ago and you have changed my perspective so much. You're so accepting and kind, something that many christians are but the ones we pay the most attention to are the ignorant ones. The ones that create the negative stereotype of christians. Because of you I have started to try and get to know the nicer looking people at my church and honestly I could not be happier. I have such a big supportive and accepting community that loves me for who I am and that's what the stereotype should be. Thank you for teaching me that as christians we're all different but we're all one in jesus, I'm so happy I found your videos.

@Ginger NoSoul thats so sweet of you to ask! By God's grace she is doing so well! She went to a treatment program and a therapy class that gave her many healthy coping skills to utilize

I’ve learned recently that although God doesn’t always give us the clear-cut answer we want, the journey to find more of God as we’re actively seeking Him helps us grow much closer to Him than if we were to just be given a straight up answer or said one prayer and got an response right away (though that does happen sometimes!) It takes time, but that is actually not a bad thing!

I really like how you phrased your title with the ending "That Help Me" rather than just say "9 things". It shows you're a very humble person. This communicates that this is your lived experience and you are not an authority figure on this subject therefore viewers should not feel imposed to follow all of it or believe that this list is exhaustive. I find so many youtube "gurus" do this with their list videos (probably to make themselves seem authoritative).
You did such a wonderful job with this as always! Couldn't agree more with everything you said❤ A huge thing I would say that could help anyone wanting to hear God more is to first *believe* that he can and does already speak and wants to speak more to you personally. Because he does! If you don't believe that, you're not going to give him space and quiet to speak and you won't be listening in the first place and will discount things that could be him talking to you as well. :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this! So true! This is what I've been thinking a lot about lately....it's like the fact that I acknowledge that HE DOES in fact speak to us, I don't have to struggle with silence or wondering if God speaks...because I already choose to believe He does. So if He hasn't yet, then He will soon, like always!

Oh I'm so glad!!
Some ways God can speak is by using a verse continually. For instance a little before the new year and into it I would see Jeremiah 29:11a lot. Also He may speak by showing numbers continuously. For instance if their may be a demonic attack my mother or I would see 666 a lot. So then we just cancel the enemy's plans. You can ask God to open your spiritual eyes and ears to know what He may be saying.
Oh yes! Isn't it amazing when God keeps bringing a certain verse to mind? I love that!

I actually just recently realized after years of saying i was a christian that I really didn't know God, before I would never read the bible or spend alone time with God and I realized how could I really know God if I didn't know his word? Tiffany! This video was amazingly timed! We have an awesome God in that he coordinated this. I literally just this week, have started asking God for me to hear him. That I want to hear him, but I feel blocked. Your point on number 7 was great. That sometimes we don't hear him or feel him but that we are to still put one foot in front of the other. This video will be so helpful moving on. I often times wonder if that little voice in the back of my head if that's my subconscious or if it's God. I look forward to getting to hear God more as I go on. Thank you for helping me in this spiritual journey :) I hope you and James are having a blast in Norway and I can't wait to hear about it!

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts Tiffany! :) I was listening to Brad McClendon the other day and he shared something I thought was really awesome. He said one day when he didn't hear from God, he was discouraged and cried out to the Lord asking why God wasn't speaking to him and finally God said, "Because if I spoke to you, you wouldn't get the things done that I know you have to get done today." He was overcome by God's love ... that God would 'consider' what he was doing and hold back on speaking to him until the right time. God is so, so good to us!

I am so heartbroken. I am 46...single...just trying to figure out life...my life...I have no parents...I feel so alone and afraid.
No one is ever alone because God has made Himself available to us. Pray, that is, speak to Him. Tell Him what's on your heart, just like you told us. Open up the Bible and start reading -- I recommend starting with the New Testament. I pray that God will put the right people in your life and in your path to give you a sense of His love and fellowship, in Jesus' Name.

I agree with your thoughts, relationship with God is an amazing journey. A couple days ago I sat in my workplace kitchen with a cup of coffee, and I was thinking about my relationship with my leaders which somehow got in a bad direction. I was thinking about my mistakes, wrong words, and I got an idea I trusted somebody maybe I shoudn't do. I feeled so sad, and before I was getting to be nervous about it I got a message "God is be with you". I was totally shocked, I knew Holy Spirit speaked to me, this message came from the nothing in my quiet moment. When I was thiking about my enemies and thoughts went after thoughts, this was cutting my anxiety and I got peace and this thought. It was couraging and I was happy about that because if God is with us who can ever stop us? :)

Dude..... when u said people see pictures, that was so me. When I was 11, I used to see random things in random positions. When I see that thing again, my heart beats fast. I am so happy you said that. I don’t see that many pictures like last year. But one day I decided to fast, but I realized that my mentor class had a party with so much food that day!!!! My friends told me to quit it and restart tomorrow, but I said no. The party started and I was about to walk and start eating. But suddenly I felt like I saw one of my classmates doing that same thing again. Then I realized that it probably was God telling me not to quit. I listened and didn’t eat. When I finished the fast I felt so much peace. I was being hot and cold with God and that was why I fasted. But after the fast it gave me more motivation to live for God. Sometimes it’s hard living for God when u r still just 12.

Im getting confused about God's voice so much because there are multiple voices that seem genuine sometimes. I can think its me making UP God's voice, and sometimes God's voice seems so weird.. it tells me to do this, do that, and I just get so confused.. sometimes that voice is wrong, sometimes it is right. I dont want to disobey God in fear that those voices could be God!
That can be so confusing! I've found it's helpful to find a mentor to talk through it with, and to look and see if it lines up with the things we read in the Bible. It's definitely a process to distinguish God's voice! That's totally normal. Just don't give up! 🤗🤗🤗

call jesus, YESHUA your prayers will be heard. my prayers was heard when i called Him jesus, but i was like a child, i didnot know better, HE reveal His name in my dream, this means there is a meaning in the Name, now you know, challege people to change the name in the Bible to YESHUA, bible is not yet complete, jesus name work only by His mercy because you pray, but pray like YESHUA teach us to pray.
