If I don't listen to this version at least a couple of times a week , I'm at risk of losing my sanity. Sublime beyond the power of language to describe. Bach and Richter: immortal transcendent combination. 💕

I'm an atheist, but I respect the sincerity that went into this creation and can only imagine how much J.S Bach must have adored God to write works with such passion and meaning.
every time I listened Bach, I feel German engineering in music the math, the formulas also its incredible to see his passion to try to reach god from inside intensely. I dont understand why people doesn't listen classic music in this century.
I was thinking the same thing at first...but the only one who would be really sad to see me go, is me...So I might choose something festive to help celebrate my relative's inherited capital??
This makes me cry every time and I totally agree with you about Richter. Best tempo for this sublime piece. Elevates the listener to heavens whether one is a believer or not. Cheers from Australia

Dear Ms. Balbi, dear Ester, thank you for your simple, but "sublime" response! Composers like J.S. Bach don't need more words to express their unique quality. Again: thank you. Kind regards, Jeroen

Finally,Karl Richter is the best interpreter of the whole Johann Sebastian Bach's compositions.....
Agree. Richter's slower tempo brings out how stately and majestic this piece is. Most hurry it up and it grates on the ears.
Cheers from Australia
Exactly so… and also Händel
