dislike\modified in like for the effort in the race :D
sorry
it was paintful see how you are weak with manual gears
if you learn to change relative to torque is better
then try to be "god feet" because you know how keisuke brother drive the RX no? "god foot" for manage tires and exit from corner
and dont use all rpm because a 8000 rpm you dont have torque so you cant accellerate
ah....and try to use left foot for brake like rally
i know what im saying because i did illegal races in mugello italy, not in the circuit but in the open traffic streets around tuscany, italy
thrust me
my bmw z4 2.2 and me ... we listen only initial D music XD
this is the funniest comment I've seen so far
good observations bro
This is cringe as hell, who street races in a z4. It does like a 15 second quarter mile
@@benschillchannel8335 >street races
>quarter mile
ok buddy
@@someguy_with_anime_pic You ever done a street race in your life lmao? You've been watching too much fast and furious. 95% of them are drags on the highway, and the ones that aren't involve about 2 corners.
86s corner exit made it look like he was AWD swapped. No correction, just putting the power down and pulling away. Insane.
Kajot also do this I wonder how ? He said that you have to slide a little bit on the entry to get the drive on the corner exit
If you watch closely, you can see him speed drift multiple times. These are moments where as he's mid - exit on the corner, the rear wiggles (not fishy, just starts getting more lateral inertia) out a bit as he accelerates. Dude was drifting, it was just super mild. Very good throttle control on the 86 driver.
That's fujiwara zone for ya
His way of tackling the corner is different he goes in deep from the outside slow and can smash the gas with the amount of room he has, making him have faster exit. And that's why callsign couldn't keep up on the exits unless it was a long straight
looks like im in that moment where Ryosuke explains everything xD
Yeah touge life has some really fast bois now. The 15s that used to be considered fast, are now "ok" times. It's getting insane how well optimized people have got it now.
Cmon, 5:15 its still not that bad for ae86
@@Arth16V I'm not saying 15s is bad. It's just not fast anymore, since there's people who run the touge in 5:05
We might be reaching the wall as to how fast we can get on Akina tho.
Well as one guy once said, Takumi could do sub 5 mins no problem
its physically impossible but he would still do it
For an 86, 5:15 is pretty fuckin fast, while 5:05 is the fastest RX7 time
Danieru sup Haru, give me chemical love
This is basically takumi and keisuke all over again
but pussy style
@@k11k49 but faster style that doesn't wear the tyres and is easier on the engine and less dangerous*
@@generalh1042 still pussy style
@@deadfromhell1235 What do you mean "pussy style"?
@@onyjdm grip is kinda...
Safe, compared to drifting
Hopefully with this eurobeat it doesn’t end with “if the 86 can do it then I can too”
It didn’t :(
hueheuheeuhu
*SAD MIATA NOISES*
1:33 ...... That was one awesome scene
Jesus Christ, the 86 seems like a ghost in this one.
the ghost of Akina
@@GodlessMartyr666 some say he's even faster than takumi
@@looniegaming9419 some say he is takumi
Imagine losing to someone that just eants a full tank of gas
damn
You And Kajot2111 are so fascinating to watch, the control, drift and clutches.Gotta say you pulled me in for good, now i dont have a penny left for the rest of the month.Bought all the things you recommended and to my liking.
The line that held that trueno was so good and clean; like watching Giotto (the painter) drawing perfect circle just by hand (or so state the "legend"). The properly skill that comes ONLY with extreme training and knowledge has been showed in here. Such a good thing to witness.
This is better than seeing kids drive their lambos on the highway
Keep up the gud work mah dude
I met this driver so many times,on some Highland long and Akina server .... what a beast driver...
AE86 driver:
**laughs in tofu**
The fact that he drives the drift version without oversteering at all fascinates me so much
as long as you dont snap oversteer the 86 it isnt really difficult to drive in AC
the cinematic shots here were beautiful man, and some really nice driving from the both of you! keep it up, definitely subbing after seeing this for the first time :D
Damn who ever was driving the 86 picked amazing lines
Not just lines, his throttle and brake control while taking them was almost spot on perfect, infact it was so perfect that I don't think you can get much faster than that
@@InitiateDee Yes this guy is a different level of fast. Sub 5:10 on akina in the AE86 Tuned is simply insane.
@@urbly2638 it’s the drift Version
@@rockvettel7497 Yea my bad. I think I actually meant that at the time I wrote the comment. My best in the tuned is 5:16 and I’m struggling to see how I can find another 2-3 seconds. The speed and consistency that 86 had in the corners must be crazy considering it has less power.
The setup on that drift 86 must be spot on
the driver is spot on. I watched the replay and he doesnt wasta movement.
@@randomcallsign upload the replay from his perspective?
@@randomcallsign both good setup and good driving would results as healthy sector times healthy sectors time results into a good lap
this is exactly what keisuke would have posted if he had a dash cam that night
3:05 Wow, now that's a rare behavior
That guy used all the track yet kept the car off the dirt and walls it was honestly amazing just how smooth that 86’s run was. Its obvious even from watching behind that person had no second thoughts on where the right line and braking points where in that car. I honestly reckon if not for that other FD and his mistake in the hairpins he might have actually pulled away thats crazy to think about.
Excellent panning shots, it makes the video for me! Who knew, an 86 is better than a FD on the downhill.
Well to be fair it wasn't the stock 86
@@Uncle_Glock would have been fair if it was the tuned version but its the drift version.
@@arsalanali7499 and that makes this video even more amazing
@@arsalanali7499 it was the drift version i think
Great battle! and what a driver.. He didn't waste a single movement
Amazing cameras as well!
watching this in 144p is certainly an experience and a half
I was happy with my low 19 in the drift 86, gotta grind again lol

@@randomcallsign hey mate do I by chance know you from jardiers livestreams?
yes
Nice driving, wish I could handle the FD that well. I thought you had him at 4:15 but I guess he's called the legend of Mt. Akina for a reason
Drift 86 with almost zero oversteer... I'm impressed
No wasteful movements either. If a guy like him did a perfect run on the limits of his capabilities he can do 5:03 I'm sure
don't forget tuning
@@InitiateDee you mean 5:13? 5:03 is literally impossible in the drift 86
@@Dzejk86 I'm sure below 5:10 in an 86 was considered impossible a few years back
That's Takumi, still delivering tofu even after all this time
This was an awesome watch man, nice driving. Feel like all you need is more seat time to get used to the car and fully understand it's limits. My observation is you were being extra cautious. The potential is there, just needs refinement. I don't want to turn this into a critique, lol. Just wanted to say it was really enjoyable, nice vid, and nice driving.
yeah.. that outside pass @ 4:20 was definitely some Fujiwara shenanigans lol
*sees video title*
"Outclassed by AMAZING AE86 driver at Akina"
hmmmm, sounds about right
That was awesome, when u went side by side I was hyped that 86 driver was nutty
This was intense ! Good content as always!
What a good battle. I would say that some of the corners would have benefitted from you drifting, but forms here were both VERY good. I'm also impressed about the etiquette displayed, as both the FD and R34 moved aside to let you battle.
I do want to ask, how to you deal with the chassis being too stiff/lack of rotation you get in some corners? I haven't quite figured out how to adapt with good results.
Dang these videos keep getting better. Awesome job.
AND THE FUJIWARA TOFU IS IN THE SIDE OF THE HAICHI-ROKU TOO
Ok! That little drift at the end got me! So perfect!
Takumi after he put a new Body kit and engine to his 86.
but my god what amazing drift it's like art! barley using any counter steer exiting the corner it all too much for my brain!
Man, I do want to get into Assetto Corsa! What's the best setup or starter package for this game? how much will I roughly need to spend?
Also, is that 86 even braking on some of those corners? I'd be like Itsuki from the first stage compared to the rest of you all! keep the up the good work, always like your videos.
All you need for this kind of thing is the game itself and the japanese car pack-- the track is a mod. As for what's "the best starter pack", I guess that depends what cars you want to drive. As for the cost, the game is only $5 rn on steam, and the japanese pack is $3-- so a staggering eight dollars (lol).
I got the ultimate edition for 10 dollars so it’s worth it
The ghost of akina lives on
Now i wanna rewatch initial d for the 5th Time, THANKS
This video is a piece of art
i think the main difference between the two of you is that the AE86 driver uses throttle to control the car's inertia, but you use it to accelerate out of the corner, overdriving the car and requiring steering corrections that hurt your exit speed...
also, the 86 driver is beautifully inducing understeer at almost every corner exit. it's subtle, but as other people pointed it out, he does slide the car entry-mid corner, then cancels the "drift", therefore giving the front of the car an outside momentum, allowing him to have more time under acceleration at corner exit. this can be observed as you lose ground at the start of a straight(you're also low in engine rpm), but you gain some by the end of the acc. zone
_well, at least that's how i see it. i just got today the "revelation"/reminder that throttle is best used mid corner to change the car's inertia(yaw/maintain speed), rather than trying to accelerate out of the corner as fast as possible. So i thought i can share this even if i'm bad in a lot of driving aspects. Therefore, take everything with a grain of salt.._
You need to be in higher rpms to get more power this is a rotary engine god damn it
Actually, the stock FD has peak power at 6500 rpm and drops off very quickly after that. Shifting any higher than what he did would just be slower.
I miss my FD so much. Still a gorgeous and fun car. It was just too damn expensive to maintain :(
Amazing rotary engine sounds! Very realistic :)
AND THEY SAY INITIAL D IS UNREALISTIC
(but I wanna know how much power that 86 had?)
No no he's not on race
He just deliver some tofu
That was a good race. There wasn't anything you could do in beginning 3/4ths of the race. I could tell you couldn't even have opened up the throttle a half second sooner at the exits. You were right at the edge. He stopped using the best line close the end, but there wasn't enough room or time to counter. I thought you had him on the long straight but you were nice enough not to wedge or bump him out of the way. Good clean race!
Yeah I could have been more aggressive, but the AE86 driver was more deserving of the finish. It would suck to overtake him just on power alone, when this race was about the skills.
Very nice, I just started playing this game yesterday and i need to set my wheel up.. playing with a controller is difficult AF.. this was very entertaining to watch. ^^
Bunta’s going into 2020 by conquering the virtual world.
ya even now r.i.p. for his voice actor
We need more videos like these! Great work!
you know after delivery all that tofu the only tink you wont to do is to go at the fastest speed you can possible do
I still surprised me of how good the ae86 is he a way better line and also used the full part of the track its amazing really
Bro I love it when people play 86 then you think it’s some cringe kid who watched initial d but then they surprise you by having the skill to back up the livery it’s always great to see
Ofc kouki is fast he is one of the fastest there
Fav track and car combo lol, you made the drive look easy
This video is the reason of my love for street racing
My man was just tryna deliver some tofu
Notice how they're going around most of the course "cleanly"... apexing all the turns & corners properly without a hint of tire squeal while keeping the nose pointed forward, and not hanging their tail out a bit until they get into the tightest ones--the final two--at the end. And even then, only doing a minimal as necessary. THAT'S how good drivng on a mountain course--any course!--is done!
What's interesting is that when Kajot drives you hear his tires squealing in every corner. I think he really is able to push the car to it's limits and keep it there without spinning..
He probably use Clutch to enter the Hairpin half way and press gas out of the Hairpin turn
HUM
Yes, The skill here is made out of fast.
Great Driving! Both the FD and the AE86!
nah he's just been driving this course for the last 5 years
4:22 i think he messes up deliberately just so it can stay Initial D accurate. Even in 1st person u can see how u have more space to go a lil wider
"I'm the number 2 driver of the Akagi Red Suns!"
Amazing driving for both parties!!
Grubhub’s been real quiet after this dropped
Shinji chillin at akina after trying tofu on hotel
Great video man
Thanks
Now you know how Keisuke feels...
i was suprised to see a touge video
Awesome footage.
Quick question - Do you still (from time to time) race on TL1?
This exact video is what got me into sim racing and I'd love to battle you one day!
rarely
I wouldn't say it's outclass to me your line is also really good but the 86 has better traction out of the exits and he hits the apex a bit more accurate than you do But to be fair to you the 86 may just look like an 86 but I think it has abs compared to the normal tuned one and the stock one and it's lighter than the fd But ofc good driving it's what I like to see
Ur forgetting he’s using the drift 86 not tuned
Hey this one was actually exiting to watch with edited cameras and that pull in the end! Where was the sparks from tho? I thouth the were no guardrail on the inside of that turn
Prolly the yellow signboards glitching with the car body
1:36 i thought 86 used Fujiwara zone
how can i add lights like that in the video? in my map its just dark with no lights
Kudos to you, I had you down as someone who would have deleted the clip if you didn't get the win because only you are allowed to win. You seemed that type to me but I was wrong
I've always had plenty of videos where I lose. It's not about the final result.
In the end only the clip matters
I didn’t know bunta put a 2jz in the 86
Hello, nice video. Can i ask you how are you playing with your friend? Because me and my friend are trying to make our self a server but it dont work.
He's playing on the touge life public server
Your location is mount haruna bruh I'm dying of laughter😂
Amazing! Subbed, noob help please? What track is that? You made a guy in his 40's feel like a teenager watching that, the soundtrack went perfectly.
It's akina downhill
Thanks for subbing :D
If you haven’t do yourself a favor and watch initial d, this is where the track comes from
i would kill for his tune
Hello, I was wondering how do you make the lights on the railings turn on in Akina, they are very useful to see the path better xD
the 86 even used the gutters 😂
is it just me or the mt akina mod i have aint so detailed or updated. anybody know if there was an updated version of the mod?
hm so you have a PS4 with driveclub? that's no fun.... I got an Xb360 w/ F2 and F4, an Xbone with F6 and F7 and ill be getting FH3/FH4 as soon as this summer starts on PC. I would get a PS3 for cheap but im figuring out how to hack it and put pretty much the whole GT series on it minus sport.
I just want to learn how to master the blind attack but first I need to learn drift but I'm getting a pc and steering wheel soon so dub
Everyone knows that a panda 86 is the fastest car known to man
any idea why i can't see the road lights in night time on this map ? Thanks
Why doesnt my night mode look like this? My night mode looks pitch black
Damn skill make everything different
meanwhile me here only know how to braking late and late braking divebomb
My best was 5:24 with drift version :D ,so i need more training...
Maybe he was racing against takumi fujiwara
1:55 how much traction does that little car have it almost looks like it's got awd
None
that tofu wont deliver itself you know
I wish I knew how to set this up on my vr
Tha anime was right horsepower is basically insignificant on Horuna (akina)
how u get that pursuit cammm??
