Hi Gail, I just met you and I like you already. You are simple and straight to the point. I have been depressed since Covid for 3 years now. Yesterday I was pensive and sad about my grey hair, unable to color it due to allergies worsened by long Covid. Out of nowhere, your short video emerged as if to speak to me with optimism and compassion. Your hairstyle, confidence, and beauty permeated this room. I was so happy - I even showed your video short to my teenage son who was happy that I found you! ❤👍 Thank you for supporting so many! I have so many videos to watch and learn from.
I so so so appreciate your videos and experiences. I started to feel that same anxiety just recently at 54 and the change of life cycle being almost 1 year now. The anxiety has got to go. It's so awful. Exercise and intermittent fasting here I come!
You look absolutely radiant. I am so inspired. At 62 I still can’t pinpoint my cause for anxiety as I am not that stressed, but what you said about festering energy from food not being utilized is just brilliant!!! I never thought of that as I became less active. That’s it, back to the gym. And someone suggested Yin yoga, as a yoga teacher I agree 🧘🏼♀️ Thank you.
I feel the same way about 80s music - I hear the music and all the great memories are physically and mentally noticeable - for me it has always been the best "medicine" next to natural food. THANKS for the great tips Gail! 🙂💚🌅🌄
I just want to say:" I love all your outfits!,I love your your style ,your vibes ,hlypur honesty !" You have huge heart ❤️!thank you for sharing so much ! I adore you , woman!
All very good advice. I’m beginning to think that anxiety in menopause is actually caused by blood sugar mismanagement (glucose fluctuations) due to oestrogen deficiency. A wholefood diet and time restricted eating definitely help!
It's great to know I'm not the odd one out with menopausal anxiety. Shame I can't do the exercise tip as I have CFS but I can do some of the others. Thank you for your upbeat videos.
Thanks for making and sharing your videos with your thoughts, opinions, outfits, physical activities, dishes, suggestions...you always get to lift my mood ❤
@FiftySister, you look absolutely fabulous: glowing, happy and full of energy. I also wanted to "thank you" from the bottom of my heart because you have been an amazing source of inspiration ever since I stumbled upon you a month ago. You my dear have changed my life around!! I started to do IF, got myself a skipping rope and started to skip - it's slow pace but 1 step at a time, hey? I've always been a vegetarian but moving more towards plant based (reduce grains and carbs) as your meal/recipe vlogs have given me another source of inspiration and motivation. I feel amazing and have got my confidence back! Thank you, thank you, thank you again for sharing your story and your journey to wellness. Keep up the great work. You are doing amazing things and transforming lives!
Please consider hormone replacement therapy! Anxiety and depression happen because our ovaries are dying. Worked for me. Plus doing a lot of what she’s saying.
Hi Gail. I’ve just discovered you. It’s lovely to meet you. You have inspired me and I look forward to watching more of yr vids. Sending you sunshine from Oz 🌏🌞🌻
Our ancestors had to move to survive. Which means we are evolutionarily programmed to do so, but in our modern world movement is much less necessary. So you got to create the opportunity for yourself.
Your videos are so refreshing, inspiring and really really helpful! You're like a breath of fresh air. Have been experiencing some anxiety with perimenopause and this was really helpful, thank you!
It’s crazy - I’ve driven every where all my life and all of a sudden one day, I was worried that going down a hill and turning to the right, I was going to crash! Now where did that come from? I’ve mostly gotten over it. But my goodness - that feeling of dread is paralyzing!
Hello really enjoying your channel and your transformation is amazing. I too started to struggle with menopause I am now 61 and I have started to move more towards a vegan diet I just don't seem to be able to tolerate meat and dairy now. Anxiety joint pain tummy problems since 54. Do you have any advice or videos on the best options diet wise I have been eating only 2 meals which does help. But I'd like to move completely as you did to a vegan diet. Exercise I need to step up I've always enjoyed outdoors activity's. Any advice please and hello from the UK 🇬🇧
Hi, I just found this channel, so maybe you won't read my answer... I came across another YT channel a few days ago, which is called "PB with J" (Plant-based with Jeremy), he also has a website with lots of recipes, which is great help when you're looking for more variety in your diet (because mine gets boring). Also videos for beginners, which go into a bit more detail. Like Neal Barnard, he's very much into low fat recipes (although some recipes on the site are less strict), but you can adapt to your own preferences... Good luck! NB: also, I just found out she has a recipe playlist on this channel, haven't checked it yet, but it's probably full of great recipes!
OMG ~ all I can advise ladies is ~ Be Your Own Medical Advocate!!! I had a complete hysterectomy in my 40s and have been taking estrogen ever since. Two years ago ~ I had a well meaning USA based Gynecologist move me to estrogen patches. My life forever changed because I started being really depressed for the first time in my life. When I got back to Portugal, I went for second opinions and got back on estrogen ~ plus started taking Wellbutrin. Two years later still on meds but not struggling like I was before. Unfortunately I haven’t returned to my former self when I was known for having a beautiful smile and laughing all the time. I have been seeing both a psychiatrist and a therapist. The psychiatrist has advised me that I may never return to being as joyful and carefree as I was before. I haven’t given up and I’m gonna keep working on it, but it is so freaking hard.
Yes i love 2 meals a day.. im not in meno pause but my mornings are never in a rush. I feel i do not need that much and idont need to leave the house . And if for example i have a late breakfast atround ten it really mess up with my lunch hours so i prefer no breakfast ( only if i need to go to an early meeting i take some seeds an fruits) I went to ayurvdic retreat and there they said the most important meals are lunch and dinner.. So i leave arround 5 to6 hrs between lunch and dinner. I prefer a good healthy meal with sufficient nutrients so i wont feel cravins 2 hours later and it works really well. .. ithink learing managin stress is such a powerfull tool . Breath work has helped me a lot. . But then again im not in my meno but i had a lot if anxiety for years i wish every wonan strength .. and a good health ❤ oh yes for you the breakfast is most important part.now i feel a bit stupid that i put so much emphasis on lunch and dinner to me these are the best moments !But i really can relate to 2 meals a day!
I work full time, running online businesses, writing books and lots of extra time every day sharing information to help other women who may be post like I was. I guess I just prioritise my health.

Look into your blood sugar! Wide fluctuations - even if you’re not diabetic - can cause anxiety.

Very good advice, ditto for the evening routine! I see a huge difference when I disconnect from blue light before bed! Thank you!❤❤❤❤

Love Matcha Tea
Hi Gail, just a quick question: did you make your necklace ? It looks great!
What matcha do you recommend please?
❤
Hey Gail. Did u take anything for the anxiety ? ❤
Do workout everyday? Are there any side effects from taking HRT? Thanks for your video ❤
I totally agree with you, except the matcha drink. For me it tastes like 🤮
Ich finde dich sehr sympathisch und wunderhübsch! Wäre es jedoch möglich, deine Videos mit Untertiteln zu versehen? Liebe Grüße aus Bavaria/ Germany.
You are beautiful woman ❤
How many hours do you sleep per night?
HRT, if you can, get on the patches or the kind that suits you asap when the meno anxiety first presents
I like your outfit
Find a good yoga instructor and take Yin Yoga classes. I am addicted to it.
Have you had children?
Yes. I have one son.
All your tips are great, but I guess you have to be retired to be able to follow that pace.
