@TheyCallMeNess You may want to take the door panel off and reconnect the door lock putton. This may help some of the issues that you are having. You may also want to check for any broken or frayed wires that could be setting the locks off by themselves.
@xMarinex93 There has to be a switch that functions off of the lock somehow in order for this to happen. We haven't fixed one of these yet, but you may want to take the door panel off and see if it's the door lock actuator that controls it or a feature integrated into the door lock switch somehow. That would be first thing that I would check to see what was causing this issue.
They should come off as shown in the video. You may want to shine a light inside of the door to see if everything that holds the door handle on has been removed.
Thanks guys! Some dirtbag broke my driver's side window late last night and stole my registration papers and $5-$10 in change. It's Saturday so it was one tough SOB trying to get the glass today, but I managed. Without this video I doubt I could have gotten everything replaced and installed today. I still need to drive out and pay $25 for the window, and hopefully I will be able to get it done with a friend's help before tomorrow. By the time it's all over I'll have spent $15-$30 in gas as well.
Question, In order for me to replace my black door molding (outside the car) on the drivers side, I would have to disassemble the whole door panel to remove the clips attaching the molding and door?
A1, Thanks for the great video. I was using one of your videos to replace the glass on my drivers side door. As I was putting the panel back, the rod that connects from the door handle to the back inside of the door came off, so now the lock mechanism is not working. Its hard to know where that goes and if its broken? Do you guys have a video or diagram that shows where this rod connects on the inside part of the door?

Hey, i wanted to replace the rubber trim around the window...its for my 1996 accord, ive looked everywhere but i cant find it..its the rubber trim where the window gets guided..can you plz help me out? thanks
Hey, I have a 1997 Honda Accord SE and every time I put weight on the driver door (like my leg for example) the "Door Ajar" light comes on. Also, I the driver door lock button fell in between the panel and the door too. I say that to this: every time I put weight on the door, ALL of the doors unlock. Does me taking off the panel help me with the lock button situation?
My car doesn't have power windows! How do I remove the window crank thing? I have a 1997 Honda accord. And when I instal a new handle on the rear door, the lever doesn't open the door, but if I just pull forward on the metal rod, it opens, could something be lose? That's why I'm trying to take off the door panel
It depends on how that molding is attached to the door. On some vehicles they are taped on with a 3M double face tape, other vehicles use clips to hold various trim pieces in place. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
+Steven OConnor Thank you for checking us out. The wiring will not be labeled, but if you take photos before disconnecting any of them it will help when reassembling. 1aauto.com

@xMarinex93 It may be an issue with the feature that enables this to happen on the drivers side switch.
@jroedell As far as the problem you describe that does sound like a broken inside door handle.

@apstlcpwr Some of the basic procedures may be similar on your civic.
