Just have to ask. Sense you mentioned sound measurements have you ever heard of a tool called a dats . its to test speaker and stereo equipment . It comes with a calibration mic that takes sound measurements and charts the audio profiles out on a chart. It might be a little over kill but it should be really accurate in sound testing just thought I'd mention it just a idea 💡 parts express is one of the audio companies that sells them 👍💯✌️
Thanks man. I’ll check that too. I’m interested in creating a low reflection environment in addition to more sophisticated gear like you described. As always thanks for chiming in. I think I may owe you a reply email? If so apologies. Been running behind.
It’s a snug “slip-on” secured by opposing set screws (Allen). If you’ve used a TKO it’s like that. (But not aluminum.) Good to hear from you Johnnybbgunner.
Hey, Al! Thanks for the information! Do you think a standard TKO silencer would work on the 3622 and leave enough room to pump, or is something more specialized like this required?
I haven’t tried it. You might check with Mike at TKO. He’s easy to reach and he’ll know. That said, I believe the answer is No. Crosman left no room at all. (Can you say 3622XL? Oops 😬 did I say that?) it tried the measure and compare to the TKO before & if memory serves the opposing set screws won’t have barrel to grab onto. If I get a different answer before you find out I’ll post here. If you find out please let us know. Thanks
I’ve got one on my 3622 & it quietens it down as Al said it cuts the bark. I also have no problems filling it with the moderator on.
Right on. 👍🏻 Thanks for commenting.

Is it a pinned or a screw on silencer?

Set screws that strip easy.
