I like the length and the weight of the 3622. The velocity with the 14.3gr pellets is on par with Benjamin 392 pumped up eight times. This length, weight, and power make it a good garage gun to kill rodents; maybe squirrels up close. This cheap gun is a money maker for Crosman, but I don't think it's an air gunner's friend. All PCP's need a pressure gauge. People are going to over pressurize this gun and learn what valve lock is. It needs a steel breech and a method to attach an environmentally friendly lead dust collector. Better sights are always a plus. The cover for the fill port is an insult. ...but I'm just a cranky old guy. What do I know? R, Steve

Thanks for the review Travis! I just purchased a Crosman 3622 from Pyramid Air and opted for the steel breech and LPA rear sight up grade, I'm very happy with my 3622 sample and It's great that this Air Rifle Is Made In The USA!

@@ohshoot444 Yep I agree The Steel Breech is a game changer and add to that a Fiber Optic Front Sight just like the Daisy 880 Powerline. I hope Crosman would consider offering this as a Custom Shop Offering just like their 1377 pump & 2240 co2 pistols. They would sell like Hot Cakes!!!!

It's a value gun built in the US, so I feel the features aren't bad when you figure that in. Had to file a little bit off the front sight to center it.
Crosman really needs a "premium" version with steel breech, Williams aperture, and adjustable front sight on an extended threaded barrel. Probably buying another one!

Just got this on the recommendation list, although I am subscribed and on the notification list. This is the gold standard in an out of the box review. Great testing methodology! Interesting the trigger pull went down almost 2 pounds after breaking it in. The speed/ft-lb numbers are almost exactly the same as my 100 yr anniversary 362 (673 and 14.4) which is about 20 fps and 1.5 ft/lbs faster than the standard 362. I love these 362’s. Based on your review I’m gonna have to get a PCP version…after I get through paying off PayPal for the Gamo Arrow and pump ($180 fng, are you kidding me?). Again excellent review!

Great video! Years ago i began a campaign to get air gunners to pronounce the word for pellet shape as it's supposed to be as di-a- bo-lo instead of diablo. Im no longer as familiar with the names of pellets these days and I'm not up to par with the ones you're using. Im aware that some company is branding their pellet Diablo though. I don't think an inch group is that bad. It could still kill a squirrel and can plink at a decent backyard range. I think if you got rid of those iron sights and put a scope on there, the groupings will tighten up. I feel like it may possibly be better than a break barrel around the same price point.
